I targeted this cache for one of my finds for the day and found it I did. As I will be in Adelaide for the Mega I will try to find the time to look for Arachnophobia as I will be staying nearby.

Out for another early morning search for a few more caches on this interesting trail, TFTC brisal5
Caching with the JAMS crew finding Wandering Heroes caches. We ended up finding over 300 and hiding 2 more. We replaced a lot of containers that were broken. We had a few showers of rain early which were getting us wet but they didn't last too long and it ended up being a nice day. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the caches.
Out with the JAMS crew JJ52, Mogni, Allister W and sir_spectre, plus TallBikeStan and BratKat on this run. The logs where stamped as Mystery Randoms. The target's today where the Wander Heros trail ( as far as we could get ) plus any other caches in the towns or close to the road and the nearby Lab cache in Karoonda. We got slowed down by the rain till almost lunch. No wildlife sighted, not even a kanagroo. We found over 300 + caches, some of us had found some of them before but we are aligning all of our maps to the same finds. We replaced over 40 wandering heroes caches we found broken, most logbooks where dry and put in the new cache. Any logsbooks found close to full had a scroll added to the cache and all broken caches we removed and put in the bin. By the end of the day we had over a garage bag full of broken caches.
Another JAMS day was organised to tackle the Wandering Heroes trail (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre plus tallbikestan and BratKat). We started the day with rain and hail as we drove through the hills towards Tailem Bend but by the time we started the series we just had a couple of light showers and then for the rest of the day it was fine although we had strong cool winds.
That didn't stop us though, and we had a fun day finding around 300 caches plus an Adventure Lab in Karoonda. We had come prepared with lots of spare containers and replaced a heap of broken containers and sometimes logbooks. We managed to get to Sandalwood where we called it a day, so now have plans to come back and completed the last of the series.
This was my first visit out here since 2016 and by the end of the day I had 197 finds plus the Adventure Lab which I was pretty happy about.
Thanks for the cache brisal5.

Today fitzy_1965, two geo-kids & I moved camp from Murray Bridge to what turned out to be Renmark instead of Loxton.
Our main aim was getting to our destination with a targeted little Month trail and an old cache along the way.
All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise stated.

23,062. Found with minniek during our Post-Christmas escape to South Australia.
This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 12 of our adventures took us from Murray Bridge to Renmark - caching along the way cherry picking on the Wandering Heroes series and completing the OTD May series. All caches were found quickly and in good order unless otherwise stated. Next find of the day. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks brisal5 !!

Tankengine and I were on our way from Tailem Bend to Berri today.
We had plans to pick up a few caches here and there, concentrating on only a special few as we didn't have time to do whole power trails.
This cache: We just didn't have time to pick up every cache in this series and really didn't want to either. Power trails have their place, but we didn't care about numbers and so we picked the cache that had someone we knew, met or just sounded interesting.
Did this one as it was a large. The lid is very brittle from weathering, not sure how long it will hold up for. Tftc MtnLioness and brisal5 for upkeeping.

Another quick find as we were headign to the Mega.
thanks for the cache.
This was the Mega trip that started out as a simple trip to St Arnaud for just the Mega and turned into a mega road trip starting with myself and GooseandEgg flying into Adelaide to collect a rental 4WD so we could drive an indirect route to St Arnaud and then on to Melbourne so we could fly home again.
The Goose had put a lot of planning into the trip so we could both complete or get close to completing our D/T grids, collect a number of good interesting caches and cache types we didn't have many off.
For me this was the best organised Mega I have been to, the stand out was how the committee had managed to get the whole St Arnaud community to welcome us all to the area, just about everyone we meet knew what we were there for and I had no awkward moments explaining what Geocaching was.

We had a couple of these Wandering Heroes caches selected to find- the large ones. We parked pretty close to GZ as the flies were driving us mad. We sorted this one out quickly and almost ran back to the car.
Thanks brisal5
When planning the St Arnaud mega trip I was keen to incorporate some missing D/T’s from my grid. Stainless steel rat suggested flying to Adelaide ‘on the way’ and driving across so a route was planned and a fun week of caching began. I cherry picked in my planning so as not to run out of time for the ones I wanted, and we added a few on the day if there was time. We met up with various teams along the way including a planned rendezvous with Tassie Trekkers in Kaniva for a fun days caching. I ended up with around five hundred finds (including labs) for the week, and still had plenty of time for socializing along the way. It was great to catch up with some old friends and of course make new ones.
Special thanks to the St Arnaud mega committee for a great weekend.

Thanks Brisal5 for this cache, and your contribution to the whole WH series. I was on a mission today to grab as many of these as I could. I took a tumble early in the day and got scratched by many mallee trees, but it didn't deter me.
Seems when I put on a jumper the sun comes out, when I take it off it soon rains today. Cache found and in good condition.
Tackling another section of the Wandering Heroes series today with goingplaces2. Had a lot of fun and found all caches that were on the list. Logs signed, all replaced as found. TFTC.
The Wandering Heroes trail keeps on wandering and so do we, along with ilook4geo. Most of the caches we did today were in acceptable condition, although there were still a couple where containers need to be replaced and a few logs that also need to be renewed. As is normal, each log had our visit noted by the addition of two lots of initials, being GP2 and ilg.
Our thanks go to MtnLioness for adding to this trail and to the fun of the game.

I had planned a big few days of caching in SA so I left work on a Tuesday evening and hit the road from Melbourne. This was my third full day of caching and the Wandering Heroes caches (and assorted others nearby) were on my target list. It was a blisteringly hot day (felt hotter than the 39C recorded on my car!) and the dry and dusty conditions made it hard going at times. My first task having left where I was staying overnight in Murray Bridge was to head to the Geopets series. Once I was done there I headed on to the Wandering Heroes and others along that route. Many took me longer than expected with different containers, hide styles and some further off the road. In the end I had to adjust my expectation of finds for the day before I headed north to where I was staying overnight. Thanks to MtnLioness for this cache and to all COs for placing and maintaining this remarkable series. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Congrats on being honoured on this trail.
Yet another fabulous day out with gridge98...so fabulous that we stamped all of the logs as "Fabulous Randoms" (the ink in a few was becoming a little light).
We stopped at about 150 caches today as we were on a mission for Connor to reach his 4,000th caching milestone, and for me to get closer to my 10,000th. I'd found a few before today so my find count was a little lower, but anything over the 100 mark is a great day caching! We even began our day by attending a coffee event at 7:30am and then finished it with dinner and movies...haha, yep, the GIFF event was on tonight at the German Club.
Thanks so much for the cache brisal5! [^]

Day 8 and final day of our huge SA week cache grab.
Today I found 76 caches making the grand total for the 8 days a whopping 1403 finds!
Today we left our accommodation in Adelaide and headed to the May OTD series and the Geopets series plus assorted other nearby caches while heading back to St Arnaud.
This whole trip has been fantastic. Great weather, great company, awesome accommodation, tasty food and fantastic surroundings. SA has it all. Good thing I'll be back in 2 weeks!! I'm sure I'll be suffering from withdrawals.
Apologies for the generic log. If any cache needed attention it will say so at the start of my log.

The time has come and the end is here for our big South Australian trip. We heading home back to "Mexico land" via OTD May and The Geopets series.
Many of sharkiefan and my records were broken on this trip, don't think we could have done that in Vic, but we will be back in 2 weeks, we gunna be back for a short weekend to grab another 100 or 2 from the SA map.

A Big week was planned to travel around South Australia, staying in Minlaton, Tarlee and Adelaide. We cache along a number of Trails, managed to grab a few off the beaten track, some well known caches and the odd one that
came up on the map as we were travelling around.
It ended up being a massive week of 2960 odd kilometers travelled, with day find counts of 25, 256, 361, 318, 66, 205, 106 and 76 (yep thats 1413 for the 8 days)

I had been eyeing off an interstate trip for some time now and made plans to head to SA to power through the geoart trails over here . I roped in my geo buddy Krabiboy to join me and we set about solving [?] caches and highlighting Jasmer caches that aren't available over in WA. Our adventure took us from the CBD over to the Yorke Peninsula and then back across to the Murray Bridge area . We were relentless in chasing down the finds and picked up as many as we could in the week that we had available. Due to the park and grab nature of our visit, the log books which weren't able to accommodate the ink stamp we had made were signed with the initials 'jk'! Fave points will be awarded for those caches which are considered awesome
A massive thanks here to brisal5 for placing this cache here and for tempting us to venture over to this area. Cheers!

Heading north to QLD and doing the Wandering Heroes along the way and today I managed picked up a lot of interesting hides along the way and this was one of them.
Thanks for placing the series.

After a few months of planning, and trial runs I finally attempted and complete my goal of doing a 24 hour SOLO cache run!!!
One Man, One Day, 441 caches found!
I booked two nights at Murray bridge and arrived at 8:00 pm. Attempted without success to sleep until 11:30 pm then got up and went to the location of the first cache. As the clock turned to midnight I began.
Speed through the Oz Mega 2014 Trail with only a handful of DNFs, then picked a few up along the highway until I got to the GeoPets trail.
After this I cut through to Wandering Heroes and completed up to the "OTS: May" trail. Went along this and came back into Tailem Bend for lunch and fuel and few in town. Was beginning to get weary but proceeded back to where I left off in the Wandering Heroes.
From here on in I just completed as many of these as I could up through Karoonda in the hot hot mid 30's day until midnight stuck a few kms east of town.
441 finds was the total count and now I just had to drive back to Murray Bridge. Easier said then done after being awake for practically 40 hours. Hit the hotel pillow at 1:20 am and was out within seconds.
Thanks for all the wonderful caches around this area, and sorry for generic logs.

I found this cache today as number 57 of 161 in company of Cold Freeze on our Karoonda Road Run III. Our first run back in 2008 was well before Wandering Heroes and yielded just 14 caches along the entire road and our caching figures were in the 2,000's back then. Our second run in 2012 brought us 160 caches where we started at Loxton and continued caching all the way past Karoonda to just before the Murray Bridge - Tailem Bend Junction. From there, we headed into Tailem Bend for Dinner and continued back from there for a few extra caches before giving up about an hour before dark. Our caching numbers were in the 5,000s at that time. Today, with caching numbers now in the 8,000s, we picked up at the point we had left off last time near the Murray Bridge - Tailem Bend Junction and headed south with the aim of finishing off all of these caches then caching our way back towards Loxton. I had not counted the caches in this section before leaving home and I thought that there were probably about 80 caches there. Once we got them all done, we found that there were just over 140 left in that area so we didn't get much past Karoonda on the way back after all. A great day though nonetheless and there looks to be at least one more full caching day to come at some stage. Thanks to all cache placers in this series today from D B-A.
915th Cache Find We had arrived in Tailem Bend last night, met up with Geodad as he has been working in Adelaide for almost 3 weeks. We surely do miss him. Our Geoboys had no football this w/end, we had nothing planned so this treck was in mind not being sure what the weather was going to be like we thought we would give it a start anyway. We had breakfast, a few cachers around Tailem Bend. Filled the car with fuel, said our goodbyes to Geodad & away we went on this incredible experience. Starting at approx 11am. Had a quick glance of the Honour Roll to see who & how many of these awesome geocachers we knew or had met on our travels during our Geocaching Experience. We haven't had the pleasure to meet Contact Zero as of yet. Quick & easy find. TFTS
Take 2 at what we started during OZ Mega Murray Bridge, took us a while to get back here but we made it. TFTC.
We arrived in Tailem Bend about 7.30 a.m. to make a start on the Wandering Heroes trail in the hope of getting 100 per day for two days. Our first day was tiring with a fair bit of bush bashing to do to get caches.
We got caught in quite a few showers of rain and spent a long time on the road, but managed a comfortable tally for the day.
Thanks to all who placed and maintained caches here for this great 'adventure trail'. Excuse my generic logs, but with so many to do, individual logs are a bit past me tonight.
Thanks Darknstormy for your effort here.

Can't remember anything about this cache find. After so many today the brain is foggy!
On a mission to find 100 caches in a day, thanks for the series. What a big bucket!! TFTC
Project “Centroid” was on. After a bit of planning Fleabag and I decided to head towards Adelaide again for the long weekend to get 500 or so caches to move our centroid far enough away from home to complete a challenge cache in Melbourne. We managed to get 501 just for good measure.
At the same time we tried to get a few areas of Victoria done on the way there and back to start working on another challenge cache back in Melbourne.
Today was a wandering heroes day until we had to head into Murray Bridge to pickup some replacement caches from the CO to replace a number of the Oz Mega series that are missing which we will fix up tomorrow.
Thanks for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Spiffy- and I were on a project to get 500 caches in 4 days that were over 100km from our home locations. I reallly enjoyed this series and the themed hides. Great idea and a nice tribute to all the cachers. With each cache we would recall if we had met them at events and what caches they owned. A long and tiring but very enjoyable day. Thanks for the cache.
Day two of our attack on the Wandering Heroes series. A warm weather forecast meant an early start as the weather is proving a bit of a challenge for cachers from Tassie. Enjoying the series and the chance to get in amongst some numbers. TFTC and the series
Found during an epic Australia Day long weekend of caching road trip through Victoria and South Australia.
TNLN, thanks Darknstormy.

Round and round and round you go missed this one three times and then wondered how when I saw it, big, that's all I can say, they really do make them big out here. TFTC
On the Today's Drive to Mount Gambier I found just the 3 Large Container. Cool. Thanks for the Cache
The Parrots are on holidays and on a quest to find 8000 caches before returning to duty.
Had a fantastic day folling heroes.
Only saw one cache that had eclipse tins in it.
over 100 finds and mints on my last cache of the day.
This must be some sort of record for me.
Loved driving beside the track as I didnt like some of those roadside stops with the trucks thundering past.
A great day out and in the afternoon we headed to Loxton Hotel for the night.
Fiona O'Loughlin is performing here tonight but unfortunately it is sold out.
Tomorrow back down the road to find some more.

A quick find for us today. Stamped and returned as found.
We had planned a family geo trip a few weeks ago and I left it up to the geo wife to decide where she wanted to go. Murray Bridge was one of three places to visit. Lucky she decided on this area, so we could try for 200+ in a day [^] Sometimes the parking was very difficult being double white lines and plenty of passing cars, having a companion to drive / swap with made this series that little bit easier. It was a very hot day & plenty of hours were spent in the car with much water needed. We found some great containers & loved the idea of this series. Now to rest the wheels....
[blue]Thanks for this cache, Mtn Lioness & to everyone for the series TNLN[/blue]

Generic log for today's WW caches. On the way to ADE to meet our new niece had 90 minutes and snagged about 30. We thank all the CO for their efforts we all love this hobby and couldn't do this without excellent hides like these. TFTC!
The Geo family was out for the Queens Birthday weekend and remained in the area overnight. What a brilliant series and a real credit to South Australia – very inspirational. We will have to come back again to complete this wonderful series.
We were out with the geofamily staying overnight at a motel in Tailem Bend. We were out for a total of two days nonstop geocaching. We used the geomobile and our bikes cycling 10km up the freeway! I know we are crazy! TFTC
Caching with Shaido today, on a great sunny day in May. Thanks for the cache. Fav point.
