This one has annoyed me for a long time and I didn't expect it to be there.
Had a bit of time off on Mothers day to have a look for something that has been bothering us for sometime. We knew what we had to look for from the hint, it was just where to look. Someone had told me some wrong information, so that was a lesson learnt. Don't always believe in what people tell you. So while at GZ I have to admit to a PAF ( First time ever) and this friend gave me just enough to get us to the right location. So we can now put Dawn to Dusk to dust and move on to the next BB challenge.

Came here not too confident of finding it after reading the logs, I enjoyed the view from the top of the hill then followed the arrow to a likely hiding place. The cache was found quickly and as stated was sticky, I am glad I had my gloves in the caching bag. I had attributed the clue to something else at GZ which seemed to work as it was the right location, it was not till after I had the cache in my hand that I realised what it meant.
Left very happy to have found a Blundo Buster hide after not finding the new one nearby!

nice to correct a DNF, after getting home and reading the logs closely worked out where I should have been looking, about 8mts from where the GPS was saying. oh well that's geocaching . ended up a quick find but with sticky fingers. bring some hand cleaner. TFTC
Clue is actually no clue at all and makes no sense until after you find it. Just keep looking in amongst the nature. Came with ruffasgutts4x4. TFTC
Why have a hint if it's not going to help find the cache??
With that said It is a devious hide and well worth the looking, Thanks Blundo Busters Enjoyable caching from you guys Cheers

This one has me completely beaten. I will need to resort to seeking help and then give it another go.
Upon arriving I thought I might know what I was looking for and where. But I didn't find it. The clue will probably make sense after I do return to find it.
I remember this park from the previous hide here. But despite a reasonable search I failed to turn this one up, even after checking logs for hints as to where it might be. Will have to return another time and see if fresh eyes help me.
A bit hazy today for the view towards the Blue Mountains, thanks Blundo Busters.

Nice cache! took me a few minutes. BB, you may want to check it, as it has a sticky residue all over it, but it certainly doesnt detract from the fun
After having had a go at this one previously I phoned a friend and got the slightest of nudges. A return visit today put me back where I had previously searched but this time a more thorough search turned up the hide.
After the recent maintenance and the logged find from the day after, I was surprised to find a clean logbook when I opened it up....
Thanks Blundo Busters for the cache.

drats!! don't ask me why I couldn't find this. I'm sure it's in a good hiding place Will have to come back
came and saw and went empty handed, spent a while couldn't make heads or tail of clue, need to get new intel. TFTC
Two DNF's in a row, this is starting to become a habit! Another one that has been taken offline since I ran my PQ's.
Thanks anyway Blundo Busters.

Happy New Year! Thought we'd try to hit 300 caches before 2012 and alas, yet again we were foiled.....
looked high and low and under and over but came up with nothing.....

Conducted a thorough search here today and apart from the decoy I came up empty handed.
Might have to rethink this one.

I teamed up with Powerplayx2 today to find some caches around the Hills District. Yes we found the anti-cache first and then the hint revealed itself. Sadly it was impossible to remove the log sheet to sign, even with tweezers as it appears to have become mush so I took a photo if the CO needs proof. But on a positive note the views from here are fantastic, thanks.
I love the views of the mountains from this location anyway had a good laugh
when JK thought he had found the cache but alas it was the decoy, but he did
find the real one but the log is paper mush, still a great cache hard to spot
if you don't look properly the clue suits...TFTC..

I looked and looked for about 40 minutes for this one and the only thing I found was some beer bottles and rubbish and a decoy cache. I wonder if I'm looking in the right place as the GPS has GZ between 3 things.

Found it second time after a PAF. Overlooked it last time I guess, happy that we had the right idea just well camo'd we guess.
Couldn't sign as waterlogged but we have a photo of the cache if the CO wants proof of find.

When I eventually found it (after a paf), the log was wet. These containers are not very waterproof. Great views from up here.
I remember finding a cache here about 2 years ago, it was a ceramic mushroom sitting very close to where this cache is. Thanks BB.

Gave a thorough search last night. Quickly found the 'dummy' cache to our amusement! Had a good time bouncing off a few different ideas such as the satellite patterns, nearby trees and even searching the nearby park, all to no avail but good fun nevertheless. We'll be back again with hopefully some more ideas as to it's location
Log had become a blob of paper which disintegrated when I tried to unroll it. I have put a new log in the cache and have the pieces of the original log if you want it. SL #172

I figued out what I need to find but narrowing down GZ proved difficult. A Phone-A-Friend figured out the missing piece I needed.

Ok so this one was finally located. Not by myself but one of the other 10 cachers onsite at the time and atleast 10 mts from where we had GZ.
Cache #902; GAFF4; Weather, Coudy; Helpers, Team Canary, GazMag, AMGSARI, Snoopy1976, nightfairy85, nugget; Condition, Good; Finds2Day, 4th; STATUS, Found; GPSr @ GZ, 9m
So we decided to move on to this little sucker, and after arriving, met up with GazMag and AMGSARI. 7 cachers and 3 TC geoboys started searching in all likely places. Up, down all around. The kids were nice and loud, but no neighbours came or complained. Found a herring, not once, but about 4 times, and then TC went for a PAF for a little guidance. This expanded out search and sure enough (actually, don't remember who) someone found the cache. I grabbed it and we SL (with some difficulty) and replaced. Nice hide again BB, TFTC.

Joint find with team canary, alfyboy. Amgsrai, gazmag, and nugget. Love the camo. TFTC
This was a joint find with a crowd of people who where: Team Canary, alfyboy. AMGSARI, nugget, Snoopy1976 and Nightfairy85.
After AMGSARI and I looked for some 20 minutes the others arrived and it all became very busy. After Team Canary made a few phone calls the cache was eventually revealed. The log was signed and all replaced. It was universally agreed the listed coordinates were out by some 20 plus feet.
Now I know why I cache in daylight hours!!

Another very interesting geocaching adventure!
Soon after I arrived at GZ -- with some preconceived ideas, due to my study of the satellite map -- another gentleman took over part of the locality and began working on his iPhone, typing away and sending text messages.
Hmmmmm. I was forced to carry out my original plan in any case, despite the temptation that the location offered . . .
Fortunately, the texter took almost no notice of me lurking a few metres away, inspecting certain areas . . .
Anyhow, I didn't understand the clue at all. But when I tried a (completely wrong) interpretation of it -- I found the geocache! Well, well, well . . . sometimes things just work out right, despite geocaching dumbness . . .
Bad news was that the log scroll was toast, or mush, or something that looked like small particles of white and blue . . .
So I made up a new scroll and then replaced everything just as I found it.
Later saw the COs at the 'Caching Corner Capers' event and we discussed that particular type of cache container -- with which I've had lots of experience myself.
So -- a very good one! Simple but effective. Shame that my neighbouring texter departed just before my find, and missed all my solitary jubilation!
Many thanks to Blundo Busters!

Another very good hide...met steveishere (nice to meet you) at location had a good chat then turned to the task at hand to finds this little bugger. It revealed its self after about 1/2hr of searching ....nice hide, tftc.
After spending 2hrs at the other new H&T cache I had to find this one.
I was only at GZ for a while when Team Sunderland joined me. We red out the info and went about with the search in the obvious places. The clue kept our minds thinking but our imagination was getting in the way.It was after we stood back and concentrated on something new then T/S made the discovery. Gee I am glad its summer you could catch a cold out here
Great cache hide guys but it does deserve a one more star.
It was great to meat you Team Sunderland and thanks for your keen eye on this one.
I would also like to say that we too had trouble getting the log out of its container so we were extra careful putting it back in.
SL and RNTD safe.
Thanks again for another top one.

Ok went back yesterday afternoon to only be very disappointed again ...the iphone has been of no use to us at all with not actually giving us a GZ....between the rain & the wind we decided to give up & we will be back again....
While a muggle was adjacent to GZ I was able to scan the target area and spot the cache from a distance. The muggle left and the cache was extracted in seconds.
'Suggest that the next cacher brings tweezers or the that the log is replaced. I left my mark on the outside of the log in the form of blue ink in trying to extract it from its container.

FINALLY found it....3rd time lucky....went in with some info in regards to where GZ was & soon had this CIH....This is officially the most frustrating cache that we have done to date....but in saying that what a great job you have done Blundo Busters!!! It is such a simple cache but brilliant at the same time haven't seen one like this before....our minds were definitely in overdrive yesterday & we were over thinking every possible hiding spot...I'm blaming the rain & wind yesterday for our 2 DNF's...that's our story & we are sticking to it ....Well done again & TFTC....I think???

we struggled to remove the log...it seems to have gotten wet & we required tweezers...so not sure how long it will last...just to let you know
We came, we met 4DExplora, Judda and .. can't remember who else. Many eyes but turned up nothing. We will return.

Well we arrived at GZ in the pouring rain & we had the place to ourselves...we very quickly found the decoy (thought that was a little to easy) so we continued to searched for about half hour to find that then we were joined by Juddda....then not long after by ris768, extremepc, Lessue & AMGSARI...great to meet you all....even with all of us looking we did not come up with the goods...we clearly were over thinking everything as I can see that it now has been found...we will be back...
A very very tricky hide!!!
Took another half an hour tonight but I was determined not to be defeated. Easily could be given another difficulty star
Loved it, well done.

Was planning to go to the Christmas party and then the storm hit. Saw this new cache was published and decided to give it a go. Grabbed the geodogs and off we went to the park. Discovered I didn't need to go to the Christmas party to meet fellow geocachers they were all here. I thought I was bit obsessed about geocaching but after watching the men pull apart the gazebo I have decided I am still an amateur and I have a long way to go before I think I am anywhere in their league. Nice to have met you all. Muggles and Oreo enjoyed meeting you all too.
Arrived at gz with extremepc only to find a small army of fellow caches all in a huddle in the shelter keeping dry, due to bad weather. Then when the rain let up many sets of eyes commenced a search of the area all only to come up empty. So we decided to give up. As both of us were so cold we decided to return later after getting some warm clothing. It was also great to meet all who atempted to find this well hidden cache.
Came back to have another go, with extremepc after getting some warm clothing and going back over all the data we had on our prior visit to GZ. After our review and a fresh approach we came up with the 8. SL TFTC
Just home, put some new batteries in the GPSr and saw this one published so off on the Geobike to have a look.
Once I got to the area, saw 4DXPLOR had beaten me. We were soon joined by ris768, extremepc, Lessue and AMGSARI.
Searched high and low, located the red herring but could not locate anything else.
We will be back.

No luck today, walked straight up to the decoy but didn't realise a 1.5 difficulty cache could be so hard.
