Logs
I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi i5badass
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

I'd been here once before about a year ago, but that was during a work day and I was wearing clothes suitable for an job interview so didn't make much of an effort then.
Today was a sunday, so hoped for a better look. I did conduct a more thorough search, but having been bitten by a dog earlier in the day my hand really didn't want to be doing that kind of search. So it might still be there, but it eluded me today.

had a very good hunt around but came up empty. The last successful log was quite a while ago, is it still there?
Wohoo! Been here a few times but this time, not too many people around and a good hunt got us there
Not today. A big truck was parked right next to GZ, if I was in the right place.
Car park reasonably busy, had to lurk and bide my time. Spotted where cache was hiding, quick dash and grab, then lurk again while signing. Repeat process for replacement. All good in cache, tftc!
Second time back looking for this one. Found it right off the bat this time! Out with geeves90
Revenging another DNF with kimmy+co
Totally convinced I looked where the cache is hiding last time, vlearly not quite well enough LOL

With rebel98 on a mini caching adventure
We made this harder than we needed too. With the picture clue, the co-ords from a previous log, and an empty car park, after awhile we had found the cache.
Thanks for the hide i5badass

Scrolled thru previous logs s41 10.576 e174 49.506 reached and found a cache. With rustynz
Flip that was hard! GPS was everywhere. People kept coming in and out. But finally with photo, hint and clues in logs Mr pulled out the goods.
I have been here twice now looking for this cache. It’s been really busy previously. This time though no one around and finally found it on a Sunday afternoon. Tftc
Second time lucky, last time was at night and so the most likely location didn't stand out. Today, with the benefit of sunlight, no problem other than remaining discreet. All safe and dry here. TFTC
Persistence and past logs paid off as we found the cache after nearly giving up. TFTC
TFTC. Out for a few caches in the Tawa area. I used the corrected coords found in the logs with great effect.
Thanks for placing the cache.
Thanks for placing the cache.
Wasted a few mins hunting at the cache coords before reading logs. Barefootguru notes that tbird53’s coords were better. Plugged those in and - hey presto - instant find! TFTC
27 December 2017 20:20. Earlier this year MacPacDaughter got this cache for MacPacFamily to keep a challenge going while MacPacMum was in Vanautu... an island with 3 geocaches when 12 were needed while we were away. Now I'm keeping up my part and refinding these caches in my first trip to Wellington since. TFTC i5badass
Good find. Found it with LegacyPlayzzz, took a couple tries but I finally managed to find it thanks to tbird53's coordinates.
TFTC!
TFTC!
Was expecting this one to be difficult. There was a lady parked in a car watching us for a while, so we had to just hang about and look without being obvious. Something stood out, it wasn't the cache, but it lead us to where the cache was hidden. In the end an easy one for us. Cheers!
The sun came out as I arrived at gz. Used coords from comments and came to about the right place. Thought a bit too much but got there in the end. TFTC
Weird artefact! Once I switched to tbird53's coords cachesense quickly took over. TFTC i5badass.
This was my second or third attempt here and I was determined to not make it another one. Finally found it with help of the hint. TFTC
Early morning stroll before heading to Nada Bakery for a Nada pastry before heading home.
My third visit. However this time I carefully read past logs, looked at the photo more carefully, and read the hint. Found it in seconds. I'm pleased to cross this one off. Tftc.
As others have noted, the published coords are a fair way out. tbird53's are pretty good. I'd parked the car in the makeshift car park facing the containers so I could survey the situation from there. I searched the "obvious" places for about 5 minutes before retreating to the car for another think. Decided on a place I would likely hide it (did I really no search there before?), went in and there it was. Sunday evening was a good time for this to keep the muggle risk low.
Down in Wellington for the weekend. Initially this was to be a pre-visit before a work conference this week but that's been cancelled due to head office being kicked out of their building as the building next door has been damaged in the recent earthquakes. Decided to come to Wellington for the weekend anyway.
After visiting the Gallipoli exhibition at Te Papa and caching in Island Bay, I decided to slowly make my way back to my accommodation for the night in plimmerton, caching on the way. Couple of muggles were loitering across the car park but I didn't let that stop me. Parked the car to give me. Over and the cache was quickly found. TFTC

Most of my caching is done on weekdays so this area is generally off limits because of muggles. I found an hour on a Sunday to come and have a look, and found the place to be muggle free.
I tried the coordinates first but had no luck there so I read a few logs. Working from a couple of gentle hints there I tried a new spot and found the cache immediately. I estimate the cache is about 15m from the location given by the coordinates. TFTC

Took a bit of rummaging to winkle this one out. Found with MomentumGeo. TFTC.
Found on a rainy Saturday with the MomentumGeo group. My GPS was all over the place, started to lead me in one direction, then back another way, eventually found the cache back near where I'd gone the first time. TFTC.
#203 Found with MomentumGeo, between showers. I never knew there were so many containers here in Tawa. The clue and the photo were a real help. TFTC
I had scrambled round in the dark for this last night with no success however today was a simple park and grab. Tftc
Definetely over thought this one. Nice hide. Have track able to move on to a new location. Second visit. TFTC.
Have had a quick look two or three times previously for this one without success. There are usually more people around than I’m comfortable with. Being Wellington Anniversary Day today, thought I’d chance my luck again. Used the photo to find the cache. Based on previous logs, didn't even bother with the coords. Hit the jackpot straightaway! About time too! #1037. TFTC.
P.S. I went back to the car a few metres away, got my Garmin and took one reading at GZ. My coords read S41 10.576 E174 49.506.

TFTC! This took me longer than it should have as the GPS was pretty off and I also massively over-thought the description of the container the cache was in - doh!! Once I put my phone away (or more accurately gave it to grisling 2yr old in back of car!!) and just used my eyes I had it quickly. I'm glad I went on a public holiday as nobody was about : )
Took a trackable which is our first one so that's exciting! Will try to find a really good new cache for it soon.
Thanks.

Tucked away nicely ! Photo helped a lot as to where to look as the coordinates are way off.
Parked up in the container park and had a good look around from the car, so the most likely spot was spied. We quickly darted out in-between the downpours and cache was soon signed and returned. Took TB. TFTC!
Quick easy find saw another suspectedgeocacher approaching as we left they had a phone and a pen in hand picked up trackable TFTC☺!!!!!!!
Having DNF-ed this one xmas eve, and been back on other occasions and prevented from searching due to high numbers of muggles I was surprised to find general vicinity of GZ completely free of people, on a sunny winter Sunday. didn't take long to put hand to the cache, and sign the log. Really pleasing to convert one of those pesky DNFs into a smiley! 10th and last cache for the day.
TFTC!

Coordinates took me into the middle of the car park, had a look around but could not find.
Down in Wellington for a few days to fill in for other grandparents. To do the Kindy and school run so After dropping off the youngest Grandee at kindy I popped over here to find a couple of caches. I expectd this to be a herder cache. From others logs. But after the lawn mowing/weed eater council worker left the site it as a straight forward find.. all is well here. thank you for h cache.
#555. Found it on third attempt. Mrs GSEL tried without luck back in Dec but being an arachnophobe I suspect she was reluctant to probe too deeply under these old crates. I tried on another occasion but searched the wrong zones. Tonight our first choice (nearby Oak Tree) had a muggle sitting in a car by GZ so circled around here for another crack in the dark. This time had the cache container in less than 30 seconds in the second place checked! The photo provides a good pointer to where to put your search effort. Pleased to have another monkey off our back. TFTC
Staying with my sister and out walking the dogs revisiting some of my previous dnf caches. Armed with coordinates from a previous log I went straight to this one on this search so easy find. Tftc
wow about to give up and we found it. co-ordinates a bit off- check photo to find what area it's in

Find 03 of 08 for the day and #1760 in total.
Just about to give up on this one when we finally found it. Co-ords could be better but if you think about it logically the hint helps.
Echo 3 - Spice 0
("\(0o0)/") Thanks for the caching fun!

It took us a while to find, but, fortunately, the place was deserted so we could search unimpeded. We'd had to abandon a nearby cache as the police arrived just after us to set up a road block pretty much at that GZ and we'd felt rather conspicuous, so it was nice to have the container park to ourselves. Tftc.
We are staying up The Drive, but this one eluded us the other day and there was a woman sitting in her car. Today the place was deserted and we beat the previous record of the find- under 10 seconds! Now we must stop caching and get dressed for Christmas dinner.
My GPS had me in the middle of the car park today so I had to search for quite a bit before I felt what I was searching for.

Tried to find this today, but the coordinates kept leading me to the middle of the carpark, hunted around under a few of the containers but still couldn't find anything. Maybe tis one has gone
Out and about collecting a few caches this arvo. Had attempted this one once before so dragged tmann421 along this time for assistance on finding ... which he did. Log signed and cache safely returned. TFTC
My second visit to find this one. The first time I was here it was like muggle central and the GPS kept telling me my car was the cache! This time I left the GPS in the car and employed the help of team Skaga after grabbing a nearby puzzle cache. TFTC
#943 Took us awhile to find this one!! After spending a few minutes looking around the area, a couple of kids starting yelling "why are you looking at the containers?!" from across the carpark so we took the approach of ignoring them and looking at my phone until they left a minute later. Once the coast was clear we resumed our search and soon came up with the goods. TFTC!
Darkness definitely helped with this one. Walked straight to it, and retrieved after a bit of muggle dodging. Tftc
This cache formed part of Day 2 of our 2 day assault on Wellington puzzle caches (with a few traditionals thrown in as well) whilst we prepared to attend SAROCs Winter Solstice event and pick up Grunta1's Bakers Dozen challenge cache.
Unfortunately another DNF for KFNZ! Found GZ but couldn't get our hands on cache, despite trying!

Trusted our instincts and went straight to it! Bit of a reach but all good and back safely from where it came. Having a few more caches under our belt has made the difference TFTC
Have been here a few times before but there's always constuction workers around. Even on Sunday! Luckily there was no one around at 11pm. TFTC, happy to finally get this one done
Driving home tonight, decided to stop in and try to nab this one (too tough in the daylight with muggle workers everywhere). Found after a short search around.. even if you're struggling with co-ordinates the hint is key! TFTC
Best verify the co-ords again as I KNOW the hide location has not moved and it CERTAINLY is NOT the middle of the car park.

Last for today on the loop home.
The GPS pointed to the middle of the carpark!
Master B distracted by the kittens living under the containers, then time to head home up the hill.
We'll be back soon since it is the closest to home.

With 3 geopups not enjoying too long a pause on their walk, and feeling a little exposed I couldn't hang around so will have to look another time
