No idea where it could be, and I looked under all the places.
Since the last find is already 5 months in the past, it might be worth to have a look at this one.
The travelling fox is sad =u,u=

Heading out to Waiotira to hlp with a Car Club event, so just had to stop here to look for this one. Wasn't in the place I originally expected, but once I sat down, cache was soon located.

On my way up the line for a week of r&r on my way further up to northland today.
I grew up in Mangapai (well on a farm down Mangapai Caves Road). I attended the playcentre here and came to functions at the local hall, hung out with the kids who lived in the house opposite the hall, who's dad used to drive the school bus and was the local postie too. I think I even remember the post office still being open in the tiny little building on the main road. I don't remember the hall being blue though. Good times.
So when I saw that there was a cache here, of course I had to come and search for it. Quickly had the container in my hand. TFTC

Took the old man on his first ever caching expedition and this was our first find. He was very impressed! Might have a convert on our hands. Nice to know there are so many caches on my home turf. Tftc.
The Squirrel and my plans for the weekend was to log as many old caches as possible to go towards completing another challenge. This meant a lot of kilometres driving and a bit of forward planning and plus collect as many other caches as we could. The plan was to travel to KawaKawa Bay and stay at Hemi's uncles home.
Early start Saturday morning with our goal to get to KawaKawa. Google tells me its 266 Kilometres one way, but with caching who knows how many km's it will be.
Left Rotorua after work on Friday with a stop for dinner (Cambridge Roast House). Next stop Huntly for a coffee and a chat with fellow cachers, then on to KawaKawa Bay. No caches done on this leg.
Early start Saturday morning to achieve our goal.
4.25pm - No problem to find tis oldess cache. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... On a flying visit to Northland with the intention of finding very old caches and anything else that is within short walking distance of the vehicle. The gloomy, black sky is an indication that rain is only a minute away...
We really have our minds set on visiting an older cache up the road. We stopped in here for the sake of clearing this cache. This was a quick find and interesting... This is only the second time we've encountered this type of container in New Zealand. TFTC.

OMG....that one really made us work!!! We fell over laughing when we finally found it !
This was an opportunistic find - drove along here for the first time ever this afternoon to visit a property, and on the way back I realised there were a couple of caches to be found. This was the second of the two - spotted it quickly. Even though I have found a number of this sort of hide before, I still always hesitate before touching them. Not the easiest to open, and when I did I thought for a moment I might have been the second to find but then realised that the log had been recently replaced. Signed log, TFTC
Haha, hubby was a bit grossed out when he saw this one. Needed my trusty tweezers. Wrote 20th instead of 19th in the log. This was part of our return journey from looking at a hot rod in Waiotira - a nice family outing.
Last cache for this weekends mish and what a fun one to end on... definitely not the container I was expecting! Freaked the other half out when I proudly presented him my latest find to look at. The log is starting to get a bit full but will last a few more visits. Thanks for the cache
957, quick drive by as we work out where we are playing paintball tomorrow. TFTC!
First cache of our adventure .. Couldn't count the number times we have all driven past this spot. Thanks for the cache
Sneaky hide, first time we had found one of these! yummy the GPS was a bit out, but with the hint and looking at some of the logs it could only be one place. Thanks for the hide, on our way to Dargaville, collecting a few caches on the way.
After spending some time on the Waikaraka Walkway, we detoured to avoid all the traffic on SH1 due to all the road works. Realised we were going to pass this cache, and we couldn't pass a cache with at least quick search. Wasn't quite what I was expecting but I've since these hides before. TFTC.
Glad I didn't get stuck on this one. Had heard about this kind but first time I've found one. TFTC
One child looked then the other, then the husband! But as I had been researching fun cache hides, as soon as I saw it's eewwyyy hide I was on it. TFTC
Found with Redants while on our Far North Road Trip to the Winterless North. We found ourselves in some interesting places that we would not have visited had we not been searching for caches. Thanks to all the cache owners.
Don't see this sort of thing very often, well, yes you do but not as a cache. TFTC.

We found this cache on a 2 week trip around Northland, visiting such locations as Opononi, Kaitaia, Cape Reinga, Russell, among many other places. Very clever container, TFTC
Got ourselves into a sticky situation here, it was a bit of a stretch but we soon came unstuck, knew what to expect, the logsheet was looking a bit mouldy though… probably due to too long between….. TFTC.
The old bus stop has been replaced with a new one here and the old one was dumped beside. I stopped and picked it off and put in same place on new one.
we sat and looked but nothing and then we even got on to our knees and still nothing wondering if it is still there - help
Almost stood on our heads to find this cache, but to no avail!! Sat on the bus seat, and every man and his dog passed by, but thank god, no buses. Literally felt all over the lower part of the shelter and really do wonder now if a muggle could have found it and disposed of it. Will keep an eye on this cache then..... as I pass by to work, at 6am in the morning!!
My husbands family came from this area and he went to play centre here just like my older 2 kids. There is a train station over the hill. The post office I think is the small building on the RHS as you go back to the main road.
Wow I'm surprised at the state of this bus shelter! I had to get a torch as it was going on dark. Spotted something that is typical of teenagers and so ignored it. I scanned and felt my way around the rest of the bus shelter and sat and thought for awhile, just where are you? Nothing came to mind, so started from the opposite end and looked again, and like most I'm sure got a pokey stick to test things and that's when it moved and I knew it shouldn't have!
Bingo! I had found the cache! A fav point from me, I've heard of this type before but had not seen one. Well done a fav point from me!

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We headed North for the weekend and decided to take our time and tour some of the back roads on our way up. After stopping at the bus stop, we spotted the cache straight away, the only problem was that we didn't think it was the cache! So we hunted around a bit more, before deciding that the first object warranted further inspection and discovered the cache! Great camo job here - a favourite point added! TFTC!!

Nice but nasty little diversion while heading north to Whangarei for work, managed to get the timing just right as a heavy rain shower passed over head while grabbing this cache, the only problem being the chosen shelter doesn't provide much protection from the rain, oh well at least I got the cache

Second time here...need to look harder! This brilliant masterpiece has earned a favorite from me...well done.
Todays mission is to reach 500 caches with the help of Mini Mob. #500 yipeee!!! Knocked this one off by mistake before checking if it really was one!! great cammo!! TFTC and our 500th!! still got a few to do to catch you Flowernz!!
Found on my holiday at mangapai visiting the family niece helped will this, was a sticky one 2 find.
On our way to do the "loop" and play golf at the Mangopai Golf club (which we found out later does not exist) so ended up at Waiotira? Golf Club -oh well. Didn't try out the flavour of the cache but loved the camo. A favourite from us. Thanks
Found with Wiiphee and Bucko. Wiiphee went to find but no joy, though wanted to wash hands after touching something gross. Great cache with some brilliant camp. Nice one. Tftc
Special little village. It took me a few minutes to spot this one. I must have looked like a council inspector checking on the condition of the shelter ! Then I hesitated before investigating further. Very good hide with a tiny log. TFTC, Licklick

No-one was in the hall or waiting to catch a bus so it was an easy pickup and sign. Loved the camo job.
Cheers for the cache.

Interesting camo choice that we eventually brave enough to investigate further. Nicely done and TFTC
Very dark by the time we arrived at Mangapai Hall, so we searched using the camper's headlights. Took us a second look before we spotted the cache - loved the camo, thanks. A favourite.

The beginning of a fun day out with flowwernz, tikitour, their spouses and The2As.
Easy find - and flowernz was there just in case!

11.35am. Too wet today to do the normal holiday things so we had to find a cache or two! A quick one to start us off.
Thank you. David and Geoff.
Thank you. David and Geoff.
4 of us looking and it took a little while, then found, urgh, glad it isn't real. Introduced a friend into caching.
Ew! Ew! Had to use a 'pokey stick' for this one just in case. Haven't see a 'container' like this one before. The kids liked it.
Out on the road this afternoon and took a detour to grab this one. Like the camo! T4TC!
Out for a wee spin in my "Little GEONUT Bomb" and had a most enjoyable time following this new trail of yours. FTF and wow the surprize awaiting us here was just so funny. Thanks
