Another school cache tucked off. The snails really liked this hiding spot TFTC
Needing to fill a calendar spot today this seemed like the perfect one to grab as I was heading to Moama from Kyabram. A short detour and a quick park and grab. I can assure Zinnia94 that the snail she saw 6 weeks ago (just presume it's the same snail) is still attached to the cache. Thanks for the history lesson, isn't it amazing how many old school sites there are, and TFTC.
My 8th find for the day.
Quick park and grab on my way to Echuca.
A snail had securely attached himself to the cache.
I managed to sign the log without disturbing the little guy.

Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz TFTC gregandjudi
Found on a lovely sunny day out geocaching in the area. Shame about the little school. Thanks for the cache
A nice quick find to settle my nerves after a couple of Little Squirrel dnf results. Thanks for the relief.
Numurkah to Echuca camping at the Rotary grounds alongside of the Campaspe River. A great spot only a couple of caravans here.
Today we too a day trip along some back roads to Tongala completed the AL & found a variety of caches.
Such a peaceful location we decided tostay another day & just cache around the local area.
Thankyou gregandjudi for placing this cache.
TFTC. once again muggle hubby helped. Today is not my day. Cache and log are in good condition.

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.

On a road trip with my favourite ally dalerious and we were heading for Echuca via Cobram and beyond. Had many laughs along the journey, and a big day was had. Any day is a fantastic day when you are out caching, but it is a better day when you are out caching with such a gorgeous partner. Thanks gregandjudi for placing this cache.
Found 2:48pm 15/5/21
How very strange that I failed to log this cache back on the day that I found it. [:o]
I think my error was putting it on an obscure list I have of caches needed to fill every bearing 360⁰ from my home, but not including it on the stored list that I log all my finds from.
Sorry gregandjudi, my bad.
I wonder if I would have been taught better logging etiquette had I attended this school back in the day.
TFTC gregandjudi.

Another bit of school history to absorb. Unfortunately, the log sheets are beyond use, so I left a fresh sheet in a plastic bag.
Thanks gregandjudi.

TFTC. Quick find and interesting place. Unfortunately the log has been water damaged. Still manage to find a spot to sign

A fine summer day for a drive around at Echuca.
Not many muggles around today. .
Mainly good safe hides and mainly quick finds.
Actually this type of hide is usually a micro size.

Rex and I headed out for a day's caching with the intention of finding a cache in Leitchville that I had previously DNFd at least twice and we had a pretty good day with just the two of us making 15 finds and only 2 DNFs at the last 2 cache hunts for the day.
Although the trip did involve a policeman and it was ONLY 8.30pm when he stopped to take my details in Cohuna as I searched for a cache near the CFA He didn't even mention the spider web of duct tape that covered the cardboard over Harry's still shattered rear canopy window!
As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby
I love the bush sights in Victoria [^] and the history and stories of the determination of the pioneers. [^]

School holidays yet again and we thought we'd stay the night in Echuca. It took us about 6 hours to get there from Maryborough and about 13 to get home.
A fun trip with only minimal rain, a handful of DNF's, some previous DNF's that are now smilies and 7 cache types found over the 2 days.

More fab history!
Today was day 2 of a 2 day road trip with Team Clarmensma (GemmaSistema & becca85 and our 4 geokids - neisha07, AdamSistema, boo09 & LukeSistema). The Sistema crew left Echuca and caches our way via Moama, Barmah, Picola, Yambuna, Koyuga, Nanneella, Rochester, Burnewang, Elmore and Bendigo before heading home via Maryborough to drop off the 3 girls and finishing at home in Ballarat about 11pm. We had plenty of finds, a few DNFs and heaps of laughter and fun as we cached along back roads, through tiny towns, around and across across amazing rivers with stunning scenery wherever we went. Thanks so much for putting this cache out for us to find and enjoy. We really appreciate it.

Found by Mary & David at 1547. Love these reminders of times past. So many like it all over Australia, but rather unusual that the school only lasted 9 years. Mary's Dad was a teacher and moved around Victoria country towns when she was little, so she always enjoys these. Our thanks to gregandjudi.
Hi there gregandjudi.
We found your cache **"Echuca South State School # 2"** today. (This makes our find count 19270).
We moved our caravan to Echuca today, and as it was a short drive we decided to grab a few caches in the afternoon.
We found 9 caches today (DNF'd 0) & thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
***Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book is in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Mrs. Suscoe headed out today with the good folks of the Phetlern team for a day's caching south of Echuca.
It was a beaut Spring day with loads of sunshine, a gentle wind and some clouds from time to time.
It was a really good day with great company and lots of fun on the way around this area.
Beaut countryside with green paddocks and happy looking cows and sheep.
Thanks to gregandjudi for placing this cache, the Suscoe's like visiting community places like these.

This is a great little find. Invisible to the new players eyes. However this cache needs attention ASAP...its log is wet and ruined.
After a DNF a little earlier down the road My detour along this back road needed a find to make it worthwhile. The rain had began to fall so I was hoping this would be a quick find. Turns out I was able to locate the hide very quickly. The log however is very damp and ripped as I tried too unfold it. Still managed to get my stamp on it but it is urgent need of attention. TFTC
After a disastrous start to the day it was nice to finally put a smile on the board. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache

Nice quick find, always like visiting old school sites, amazing how many schools there was once around.TFTC.
After three challenging hides in a row it was good to have a quick drive by. Wouldn't mind a $1 for every one of these we have found over the years. Thanks.
Missed this one yesterday. Gee there were a lot of schools around here. A nice easy finf TFTC
