Hi
One of my roles as a reviewer is to monitor my region for caches that have been disabled for a long time, have had a reasonable number of DNFs or appear to require some maintenance. This is done through running a query on a database of all the caches in my region that looks for such things or by cachers submitting Needs Archiving logs as it appears maintenance may not be being carried out by the CO.
It would appear that this cache may benefit from some attention by the CO. May I ask that the owner checks the cache and sort out any problems with it or gives an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find. If this cannot be done or if the CO no longer wishes to maintain the cache then the listing should be archived.
Of course if the CO has visited the cache recently then please post an Owner Maintenance log indicating that they have done so, enable the listing, and all should be fine.
In the future, if a listing is going to be disabled for a long time then posting periodic notes to the page (once per month or so) keeps people up to date with what is happening.
This isn't a requirement to fix the cache immediately but if it's unlikely to be done within 2 weeks could the CO post a note to the cache page giving an indication of when the maintenance will be done, or an indication of why it cannot be carried out.
**By all means send a mail to me through my profile, quoting the cache name and GC code, but please also post a note to the cache page. Emails to me may be missed or go astray and it would be a shame to archive the listing due to missing correspondence.**
**Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."**
Sadly if there is no response to this log after 14 days I may have to archive the cache.
Please note that the guidelines say that if a cache is archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ staff for lack of maintenance then it will not be unarchived - [Unarchiving a Geocache](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70)

Had a good search for this one today without any luck. The CO should check to see if it is still there.
Out for a days caching with Lydford Locators and ReggieCat. Myself and ReggieCat met up early in Theale, Berkshire then drove to Swindon to do a few Church Micros before meeting up with Lyford Locators then starting off our trip in Wiltshire and making our way up through Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. We mainly had Church Micros on our list but included traditionals and a couple of puzzles if they were on our route. We managed to get 33 caches by the end of the day, with 3 DNF's. Some caches took a bit of time to find, some needed a lengthy walk to, and some were a high terrain rating that required some hill walking.
Thanks to all the CO's for putting out and maintaining the caches, though not a high numbers day, we all had a terrific day out, the weather was brilliant the whole time and we were treated to some marvellous sights and viewpoints along the way. A favourite point will be given to some of the more memorable caches of the day.
Despite an exhaustive search we couldn't find the cache.

Okay, after checking out the wrong object, feeling self-conscious because the neighbouring garden had gardeners working in it, I stopped and thought, and then guessed what I was likely searching for. Then the find was quick and my guess was proved correct. Well named cache. A favourite tick. TFTC Team.Rose.
What a beautiful village! But no luck finding the cache....disappointing!
This took longer than it should have as I was concentrating on the wrong thing - funny how you can get fixated like that! Anyway, the cache was quickly found after I snapped out of it

I have just come of another set of nights and would normally look forward to a geocaching walk today. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas though and I didn't fancy traipsing round getting soaked so I thought I would do a bit of a driving day picking up caches that have appeared recently, that I didn't find in the past and ones that have simply been out of the way for me.

Out today caching with Coedmieri we were heading over to Ledbury after having successfully completed Hippos Below so a simple cache and dash was just what the doctor ordered. We parked up at GZ and after a quick search where the GPS's were pointing we soon found the imaginatively crafted cache. liked it a lot and very apt. Thanks for placing.
Found with C.A.K.E Crusaders as a cache n dash on our way to Ledbury, having just done the nearby Hippos Below. A well thought out cache container and a nice twist on the usual ones done in this style. TFTC
has have a dnf mainly as there were soooo many brambly bits all over I gave up really, saw the red herrings but missed the cache tyvm
Parked up next to this one and made a quick discovery although was half expecting not to find it after reading recent logs. TFTC
I think I found the container but it was empty. No sign of anything on the ground either.
Boy we made a meal of this one, not help by people pulling up by the nearby house and taking ages to move on.
Great container to go with the cache theme. Many thanks.

Having a laugh aren't you..........a 1/1.............. broken down muggle at GZ closely followed by a recovery vehicle.......... explained to the muggle about caching and made a stealthy retrieval before Mr AA man had parked. TFTC
Quick find with ccrevell. Explained geocaching to the lady in the broken down car who was stuck adjacent to the cache. TFTC

Day thirty-seven of my caching streak and 24/31 for the August caching challenge.
Parked up near GZ and left the engine running whilst I looked for this one. I also found the pipe and wire but alas my search did not end there and I soon spotted the cleverly relevant cache. A great little hide but I was soon signing the log and then jumping back on the way along to see the hippos.
