Leap day cache find on the way to work. I missed this cache a few weeks back due to its proximity to muggle activity, but today there was nobody in the vicintity. The cache was an easy find, but as has been noted, the log is dripping wet. I didn't dare unfurl the log for fear of destroying it. My trusty "power tank" pen however managed to mark the soaking wet lot. Thanks musta9.
Yay 3rd one down for today! 3 to go for the 100 mark.
Nice easy find but as mentioned in previous logs in desperate need of maintenance.

As mentioned in my log:
Unfortunately the log sheet needs replacing as it is soaking wet. Might be a good idea to put the log in a sealed bag as the container doesnt keep the water out.

Find # 1464
I needed a cache today for my project 366 and was due to meet friends at doncaster after work. Unfortunately I had left my Phone and GPSr at home, so I printed out a map of the area and drove there hoping to be able to find the cache without any GPSr at all.
After arriving at GZ, and a short search... Bingo, cache in hand.

Thanks to musta9 for the cache, my third and final of the SWP series.

Well it had to happen eventually. I've been doing a solid job at filling in the blanks on my Geocaching Calendar since Christmas and when it's a work day I've picked up a cache on the way to work. Today I picked out a good candidate but the area was bit open and searching in a suit would be too obvious. So on the way home I tried a different cache and once again I was foiled. So I waited until later in the evening and pulled the ripcord on a reserve cache. I've kept a few close traditional caches in my back pocket for just this scenario. So arrived at a perfectly deserted GZ and quickly located the cache for a comfortable find. Log was written and I was back watching TV before you could say "Huckle Buckle Beanstalk"
Thanks Musta9, A good find for late at night, would be a bit different during 4 year old playtime!

Another quick find in another deserted playground - found @ 1230 on a caching stroll to boost the numbers and find caches that have sprung up since my last visit south. The old saying is right - 'A shower a day keeps the Muggles away' (ok, it's only about 2 minutes old...) - the overcast skies meant I had free reign to search at my leisure, resulting in a quick and easy find. TN, left a pathtag, SL- thanks for the cache musta9. I'd go looking for the second one - but I'm out of different tags!
Managed to locate cache @ 2nd spot I looked.
Wrote in log @ GZ, a few muggle-autos about.
TFTF musta9
When I arrived and saw muggles using the play equipment I thought this would have to be left for another day, but luckily they left and the find was made.
Thanks, musta9.
Thanks, musta9.
I had been here before for an unsuccessful search when the coordinates were pointing to the wrong tree but today the find was nice and easy at 13:55 with the now spot-on coordinates.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks musta9.

I'd watched alot of these publish soo close to work, however I was either working or at home, either way, couldn't get into nab them. However tonight after work whilst nearby for a meeting this one was within easy grasp.. Thanks Musta 9 for the cache, and was glad to be finding it at night else it would likely have been a DNF due to proximity to the park.. Thanks for the cache.. Find #2171
A mini-muggle in the park was collecting pine needles (Big job!) under the watchful eye of her Grandma. Fortunately they weren't too close.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Found at 2:48 PM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob and Robmc. There was a muggle mum with her midget muggle nearby, so we just smiled and proceeded to search - she was totally disinterested in what we were doing.
Thanks musta9
Thanks musta9
Found by Mary & David, with pprass and robmc, at 1445. Another park, another playground. GZ here was well screened from most of the park, but not so well from the neighbours. A little stealth works wonders. Our thanks again to musta9.
Found with The Empire while exploring the area on this lovely warm day - tftc musta9

I've been watching this one since it came up as it's right next to my friends place. He was wondering why there has been people in the park at all hours lately so was happy to hear it was the cache instead of a new place for dealers. We were over for a BBQ today and I could see the hide from over the fence. I ducked in for a quick find when the kids kicked a ball over. Thanks musta9 for the cache.
Found at 17:52 while on a bike ride. Although it was daylight, I figured that it'd be fairly safe to do this at dinner time while all the kiddies are at home being fed. Right I was as the park was deserted. I used to walk through this park from time to time when I live a few hundred metres to the south. I'd often take a short cut through it on the way to the 75 tram and the Burwood shops and knew it's not the busiest of parks. Not sure how long the cache will survive in such a kiddie accessible place so close to a playground though (maybe putting it slightly out of their reach would help), but hopefully I'm wrong. TFTC!
Luckily the playground and park were completely empty. A nice quick drive by and grab the cache.
After muggle issues at my last cache site, I thought I'd try this one again and was pleased to find GZ muggle-free (apart from the occasional passing mugglemobile). I walked up to the obvious GZ only to find quickly that this wasn't it, so walked back to the correct one After a short search - thankfully spider-free - the cache was found and I made my log at the bench nearby (rather than loiter at GZ) Thanks for my daily cache
No kids, but given the heat today, no one out in the heat wave so had the park to myself. Maybe the heat was getting to me, as I approached what I thought was GZ and upon not finding it, realised I had not even checked the coordinates! A quick reference and cache was in hand. Doh! T4TC
After work this afternoon I had no reason to go straight home so decided to do a few caches.
I last updated my smartphone/GPS prior to this cache been release so I had it on TomTom, but no details. Decided to search as it was so close. Searched the closest tree and nearly got swoop by the magpies, continued my search and found the cache quickly.

Definitely not a 3.5 star dificulty! 16th of 24 found with BrentJackson today. TFTC
Found at 1745 in the company of lochb, coley_babee +1, Alansee and Clogwog.
A most logical cache hide and find. No mini muggles enjoying the playground here this morning.
Thanks musta9.

Find #3513 and 9th of the afternoon @ 5:42 pm. Accompanied by Princess Diala, Lochb, Alansee, Coley_babee and her partner who doesnt usualy come caching but he seemed to enjoy himself this afternoon, easy find. TNLN, left my mark in the log, Thanks Musta9....
A quick visit late in the afternoon proved to be muggle free. We looked in all possible locations before finding it in the obvious one. TFTC.
One of several we did in the area today. Found quickly thanks. There was quite a little party going on as several of us went from cache to cache.
On the way home from work and enjoying the daylight saving hours. Arrived at GZ and found 3 locals enjoying a chinwag. No little mugglers about so I used the preferred co ords which took me straight to hide. Nice and easy. I gather the rating is so high because the co ords take you to the wrong location.
Thanks for the cache. Interesting tree close by

Searched around the correct area, couldn't find the cache, so moved to the next one where the GPS was sending us, couldn't find it either. Updated coordinates (thanks EB chief) and went back to the correct area and found the cache lying on the ground. Put it back in a hiding spot. TFTC. Our final cache of our inaugural year!
Found an obvious looking hiding place, but no cache. Might be worth a visit by the owner
We found this cache today at 4:30pm as the 12th of 13 on our afternoon Burwood or Bust caching jaunt. We searched around the wrong tree briefly before moving a few metres to the east for a quick find. Thanks from D, H & A B-A.
Found at 6:20pm with e-facit
This was a quick easy find but when e-facit retrieved the cache their was a spider on the other side of it which prompted a loud shriek which echoed around the park... quite funny TFTC

The boys played in the park and my iphone was all I had tonight and it pointed me at the wrong one! Correcting my mistake and it was then a fast find. TFTC SL
Thankfully the park was deserted as I was caching alone today. After a quick circle round, it was spotted resting in its hiding spot. Thanks for the cache.
Find #29. Found with (geo-Dad) SirJ-Oz.
Now that I have my own account, I'm back-logging my finds.

Found @ 17:40. After my disaster of an attempt for FTF, I decided to make a return visit during the day equipped with children. Using the revised coordinates it was an easy find. Perhaps some better camouflage is needed as the container is quite obvious. I wonder if the large coordinate error is a misguided attempt at camouflage, especially as it is bang on for the next structure. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and hung about with the geocachlettes making good use of the equipment. Thanks for the cache musta9.
With some new caches in the area, and having an hour or so to spare, I decided to try and find some of the new caches that had been published about here recently.
Arrived at the park to find it occupied by muggled. I was looking at the next cache to get when luckily enought they had decided to move on. A few minutes later I was at GZ, searching away. Cache found and log signed.
Thanks for the hide. A nice little park my boys would love.

This was a tricky spot to find a cache in fading light with a dying phone battery. Whipped out the headlamp and there it was. Phew! TFTC.
thanks gjmmelb.
maybe if i was in the right tree. it would of been a quick find.
iii come with the kids next time.( school holi soon). [:x]

Could you please update the co-ords using the co-ords from Earthbounds log as the current co-ords are 9 metres out.
Thanks

After taking some frogs to a tram and then finding some GC Caches, this was next on the list.
The GPS led us to what was ultimately the wrong tree 9 metres away and once we looked back through the logs and saw Earthbounds log we used his co-ords which were spot on. A couple of spiders were disturbed before the cache was found.

I know this little park well as one of my best friends lives next door, within meters of the cache. If I can get across there this weekend, I'll let him know why he's suddenly getting strange noises and torches flashing around over his fence in the middle of the night.
Found this one this evening, used Earthbound Chief's coords which were perfect. Thanks to musta9 for the cache. By the way, be careful looking in holes for this one, saw several sizeable spiders!
12/12/2011 23:27 For tonight I had to wait until my wife came home from her late shift before I could getaway. I was a little concerned about finding this considering its difficulty rating but wanted to it anyway. I re-visited the website once I parked at GZ as I knew that EB Chief had supplied new co-ords. I plugged this into the GPS and walked directly to the location of interest. I looked about and then shone the torch at various locations until I saw the shine of a plastic lid and moments later I had the cache in hand. Stamped and signed then replaced as found. *FTF* at 8:40 am 12 Dec. I was not in the area last night when this one was published. On my way home this morning I noticed that this had not yet been logged. That was strange! I arrived at GZ and found that the structure had been searched and it appeared a number of things broken off. I too searched the struture for about 20 minutes, before deciding to go home, have a shower and return for a better look. When I arrived I found Jade in the middle of the search and Azz soon appearing from the nearby street. We chatted while we searched. Clearly the cache wasn't here, so we moved over to an adjoining object where the cache was quickly found; the co-ords being off by about 8 metres. It was good to meet the team AzzandJadey and to share the FTF prize with them. thanks musta9.

For some reason, disappointingly, I din't see the notification for this cache until this morning.
After a meeting at work EB Contax, Eb99 and I headed over here. After a cursory look at GZ, which was a little bit off, and not wanting to climb a tree just yet (my climbing tool was still in the car), I wandered about 8 metres away to another structure where I made a quick find .
Coords were a little out for me today on gpsr, so have added mine.
Thanks musta9 for the cache

Didn't find @ about 22:00. I was dining with a friend when the notification came through and I dragged her out with me. After a FTF on another cache published in the area tonight, we decided to try our luck here. We searched and searched, but just couldn't find it in the dark. At one point, the presumed structure containing cache gave way from underneath me, and I managed to damage myself. Oh well, if I wanted safe I'd stick to chess. I will return.
Joint FTF with Trailrunning @ 8:40am. We had a few minutes head start but was looking in the wrong spot due to the co-ords being off by 6-8 metres (according to iPhone).
The hide wasn't too hard when we got looking in the right spot, Adrian came up with the cache & surprisingly had an empty log sheet
Nice meeting you Adrian, have fun with the kayaking caches
