Havnt got back to check, but Im sure this ones ok as its on the outside of the bush, will check on it soon.
Should have been an easy find? Bit concerned because it is an easily mugglesed spot, I think?
Parked up on the main road and took the chance to walk through the bush to get the caches here including this one. It's a great place for a walk so well worth the visit. Unfortunately, I was in the mini today so Albert missed out on the walk here, he would have liked it too.
Got to GZ and saw the likely spot - had a quick rummage around and came up with the cache. Signed in no problem and then waited for a couple of young ladies having a walk and a natter to go past.
Thanks for the cache, all good here.

Time for another wander round while my wife stays with some friends. I was a little lonely today but still managed a good haul which included this little cache. Found quickly thanks to a good hint, accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers & TFTC
Couldn’t find this one. Seems likely that it’s been thrown out if it’s in a v bottle?!
There was a gardener working quite close to GZ but fortunately far enough away not to be a major problem and we fortunately managed to find the cache quickly so didn't draw attention to ourselves.
We were going to sing Happy Birthday to James T Kirk but realised we were a bit early so have diarised to return in a couple of hundred years or so. TFTC.

Auckland Day 6: Hunua Falls and Sylvia Park.
Another “rest” day today, but cachers really have to go out at least once a day to somewhere interesting. I chose Hunua Falls, so that we could add to our fledging Auckland golden photo frames collection and because of a very interesting cache. Heading back to Auckland after that, picking up some convenient caches along the way while running an errand at Sylvia Park and on the way back home. Weather worked out to be relatively nice this morning, so it was another splendid day.
The following is the specific log for each cache:
I like all the Star Trek references in the cache names in the Park. Unfortunately, we were all really hungry and not in a mood for a little walk this morning, so I just grabbed the cache at the entrance, which was found after a dog walking muggle got in her car and drove away. TFTC!

Attended geocaching Event in Papakura this morning and decided to stay in the area to find a few local caches it was one of them.
GPS all over the shop when I`ve left the bush here. It took a moment to get is steady. Landed on the other side of the road .... then hmm went back
All good at GZ.

Parked the Onzo bike by the picnic table, and made a nice quick find in the second place I looked. TFTC
Down South finding some easy caches for the Hidden Creatures souvenirs. Find 25 more caches to unlock the World Turtle. Now why did Kiwi cross the street..... because that is where G2's co-ords sent him. Scotty being by far the smarter of the pair did not waste much time before uncovering the hide in the more logical location. Bucketing down now and we have had enough for the day. I suspect we have a long slow drive back north on a busy motorway heading into rush hour. TFTC
Headed out this way to pick up my nephew for a sleepover, and was a little too early. Knowing my sister wouldn't appreciate my rocking up early, I spent the time finding a few caches. Nice and quiet at GZ. Walked straight up to where I thought the cache was and unearthed it.
Tftc for the nice wee hide found with abcdf4 was pouring down in huntly so went to aucks to get some more caches.
Co-ords took us to the other side of the street but we soon found the cache in a place that matched the hint. I wonder what the story behind the pair of black knickers hanging on the nearby fence is?!
The coords had us going across the road but we just knew they had to be wrong. Fortunately found it in the first place we had looked but not looked while. In the meantime we could not help but notice the black lacy knickers on the end of a stick like a victory flag and leaning against the fence. :-0
Time for a little bit of caching on the way home from Rock the park. A nice easy find in a lovely spot. Tftc
Dear Cache Owner,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months as an Au Pair.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder or be angry about my log entries. Thanks!

For my last one I needed a lot of time, because the coordinates directed me to the other side of the street. After crossing the street I could find it quickly.
Thanks for hiding!

#5001. Had a short but enjoyable stay in Auckland. Now its time to head home to Wellington for Christmas. But first another mission. My DGSC bulk find challenge concludes on Boxing Day and by then I will be trying to find another 200 caches to bring up 1500 qualifying finds this year. So have three full on days of caching ahead of me. Today I am tackling some Waikato power trails and staying overnight in Te Aroha so I can visit the old timer cache 101 tomorrow morning. A short stop in South Auckland for some challenge finals. This cache was not outside the houses as my GPS was suggesting. So a quick read of the description and few logs had me heading over the road for an easy find. All good here. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the cache G_2.
Had to visit Mark's brother "up the Ponga" this evening so stopped here on the way. We had done Kirks previous cache but obviously haven't cached in the area for quite some time. Finally got around to finding kirks new cache almost 5 years after it was placed. Thanks.
In the area playing at the Pokemon gym and decided to look for any caches nearby as well. Made a quick find at GZ. TFTC

Cache number 3555 and day 122 of my current streak. I parked up on the other side of the bush but muggles nearby so I walked around to this one. Soon had it in hand and took it over and sat at the nearby table to sign. A muggle walked past into the bush and once past me she ran. I must be scary. Placed it back and gave it cover of bark. Thank you for the placement.
After painting trees with mud during the close by CITO I ventured out to find more geocaches in the area. Easy find at GZ. TFTC
Out with Cat & Dragons on a caching finding mission, coords we way out, found the hint item and found the cache
Quick park and grab. Like everyone GPS problems but made sense to go across the road from the GPS. Then found it easily lol

My Gps took me to the opposite side of the road, where I couldn't find anything relevant to the hint. So I thought to give it a go on the other side, where it made more sense. Then it was a quick find and its all good here. tftc.
I parked near here but decided to get the other caches first. The GPS was pointing me in the wrong place and after a short look my judgment prevailed and went to exactly where I thought it would be. Cache is in good condition. TFTC.
On our way home from an adventure race, grabbed a few caches. Could see this from the car so tried to disguise it. TFTC
Suitcases in tow, cross country through roadworks, on the wrong side of the road but djl77 and I found it. Tftc
I have driven past, on the other side of the road from this cache ever since it was first published thinking that I will sign it off on my way back but that never happened. So today I made a concerted effort to get it off my to-do list.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
looked as per the description of where I thought it should be but no luck, turned around to leave and found it on the ground in the open, so hid as per the hint, may need a check in by the cache owner
cheers

After failing to get this last time I was here, as truck Muggle parked up having lunch right at GZ, I aborted the mission before I even started, today it was a quick find, TFTC.
We had stopped in the area hoping to pick up a few in the park but were a bit disheartened after finding many of them missing so glad to finish off with this one. Nicely done. TFTC
Found this one thanks to the hint since the coords seemed to be off by 10-15 meters. Enjoyed the walk in the bush afterwards. Thanks.
Thank goodness I found this one. I had tried 3 others in the bush and had no success. Just one of those days, I guess. However I enjoyed the birds and discovering this bush walk. I'll be back with the geohounds another day.
Out and about have grabbed kirks other caches this arvo last on the list before home then a night shift. Quickly found with Newlynfam signed and rehid. Tftc
Out with a group of cachers today completing the nearby Orona Island cache. Once we had got back to the cars , hosed off, and changed out of our muddy clothes, we decided to go on to do a few more caches. This was the last for the day, and most of the group had already departed, although a couple of us picked up "just one more".
Pulled up near GZ, and our driver (UncleSam) told Biartch79 and I "Off you go" (lol) while he waited in the car, as he had found this cache already. I had read the hint, so walked straight to it, and we were able to sign and return very quickly. Hid slightly under a thin layer of natural camo (as it was when found, although it was sticking out slightly), so it could not be seen.
Caching done for the day, and a very satisfying day at that, so we headed for home.
TFTC!

We were headed to collect Mr HeMaLuDy but were a bit early so of course we just stopped along the way for a couple of caches.
No muggles around today and with cragger and laval in tow did not attract attention from the local drivers. Started at the wrong end as the coordinates were bouncing and made the find thanks to the hint some 18m away according to my gps.
Signed log and we were on our way for just one more before being due.
Thanks for the cache.

I parked the car near GZ and left my wife to grab this cache while I speed off for another in the park. I was a lot longer than I hoped or expected but was surprised to find my wife still hunting around when I returned. I shook my head in disbelief and reached down and grabbed the cache from its hiding spot (the very first place I looked) and casually said "are you looking for this?"
Tricky to find in the dusk with the gps erratic while being attacked by mozzies, but we got there. Thanks for the hints.
After a nice walk in Kirk's bush we wanted to find another nice geocache!!
At first we were looking around at the wrong side of the street. But we managed to find it though;-)))
Thank you for hiding an showing! Greetings from German geocachers:-)))

Out this way for work. So decided to take a short break.
Thanks for the hint as my GPS was wanting me to search the tree across the road :-p

GPS was all over the shop so we used our geo-logic an soon had the wee cache in hand. I remember walking through these woods at night with my older sister, by ourselves, what was our mother thinking. T4tc
Last cache for the day. G-2. I was screaming out for a Chardonnay and, bikkies, cheese, grapes, salami and hummus so I made this one quick as I possibly could, however if it wasn't for the hint I don't think I would have found it, the cache is 17m out by my reckoning!! Right, where is that cold, cold wine...
Cache location on map shows that it is across the road, but relied on the hint and description to locate.
A super quick find here today thanks to the hint. This is a lovely little bush area. Cache all in good order. TFTC.
5.40pm - On a road trip to pick up a few necessary and maybe some bonus caches with the Squirrel. SLTFTC
A Dot Day... The mission for today: find mid-level D Rated caches. Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are heading to South Auckland. Everything in between is fair game... Our main targets are Marmis' Challenge Caches (the ones we've qualified for). However, as we were driving through the countryside, we discovered others where we also met the target...
Another quick find. Ground zone is not far from where my great grandparents (Mum's side) used to live on Beach Road. Mum used to tell us about taking holidays there and playing in this area with her cousins. She says it was quite spooky back then... It's actually good to see the area for myself. TFTC.

Found ... Mrs McMike2012 & I were sitting around after tea & decided on a whim to check out an area in Papakura that we'd driven passed a few times but had never stopped at. We parked on Beach Road .. soon had the cache in hand ... signed off & returned. TN:LN:SL. TFTC. #734 for us.
Did a sweep around the area and didn't see it. Mr F comes along and says "it's right in front of you". Oh! So it is.
A spot of weekend caching in Auckland. Nice one.
Made a straightforward find on this one, sort of. Cache in order; log signed, safely re-hidden.
Nice patch of native, enjoyed the walk.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Coordinates had us across the road but finally found it after reading hint. TFTC and the sunday stroll
Out caching with Vamber after the paint balling event.
This proved to be a quick find once the GPS settled down.

A quick spot of caching with KFNZ after the paintball event in Kingseat. Once we read the description properly, the cache was soon found.

Quick stop on our attempt to do 50 in a day and at least 1km apart for the Geocaching Licence. 46 down, 4 to go and well after sunset. Quick feel had this one in the dark, not tempted to go further into the bush in the dark. TFTC
The published coordinates gave me a nice view of the park from across the street. The hint brought me back to the correct area to search. TFTC.
Had visited this one before, but with high muggler risk decided to leave, but today the area was deserted... great for us.... another quick tick off the list of loose caches.
TFTC.

The GPS was not too keen on the trees so the hint was used to make the find. It was just a matter of which hint item was the correct one.
An elderly couple had 'set up for lunch and a cup of tea' at the table by the entrance to the bush - we looked at each other and thought - 'NO too risky' viewing them as mugglers then we thought maybe could 'convert' a couple of retirees to caching decided 'NO too risky' they didn't look like they would be finished any time soon - also parked in the spaces was the Rubbish truck - strange place to stop for several minutes- we will return "captain Kirk" another day
After completing my work in South Auckland today I had to head to Hamilton for more work stuff. Decided to find a few caches along the way. As mentioned in one of the logs I read, the published coordinates had me on the wrong side of the road. Checked the hint and spotted 2 possibles and the cache was there at the 2nd. I took a reading there and have added that to this log. TFTC, Biggles.
