For the ninth day of Christmas... went caching with Froghoppin.
Just one Frog, 'cos 9 frogs a leapin' wouldn't fit in the car
Off we went to the north today, and found a few things, great views, adventurous tracks, wild animals, and of course... your cache!
Lovely walks around the creekbed and admiring the big old river red gums.
No school camps here now so a quick and quiet find

Hunting around every day finding and signing using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Quite a lot of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
---
Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now our borders are open - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Much appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Went walking here today after climbing Mt Remarkable this morning. Stayed here at Mambray for a couple of days camping and was amazed at the beauty of this place. The trees are amazing which makes me both awe-struck and angry as these big trees should be everywhere. But hey... farmers are the biggest "environmentalists" aren't they? Hats off and full respect to the land-owner who saved these trees as he cared. TNLN. Cheers.
Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending 2 weeks in Port Pirie, today we headed a little bit further than we might normally and enjoyed the drive amongst all the green crops. Looks like a good harvest up here. [^] Great drive in the country and some good walks for the fit Mr Felix

I was staying in Port Pirie again so that I could visit some of the Southern Flinders Ranges, specifically Mt Remarkable National Park. I enjoyed the short walk to GZ where the cache was quickly located.

Stopped here overnight on the way home from the Gawler Ranges. A nice walk from the camp. Thanks FVPS.
Found at 1635 on our second day in Mount Remarkable National Park. After pitching our tent I went for a walk to pick up most of the remaining caches in the area. We have been travelling around the world for almost nine months now and the Red River Gums are the most beautiful trees we have encountered so far. Many thanks to FVPS!
Quick and easy find by geojuniors, while camping in the Flinders during school holidays.

Camping with Scouts and finding a few caches when time allows. Thanks for hiding this cache FVPS
Early start from Mambray Creek. Beautiful campground with kangaroos watching me with caution. Loved the hide. Thanks.
Quick walk with Tweety2 & Bubbles8 through some lovely country. Guided by moonlight & torches. TFTC!
Not sure why I do this sometimes. Thought this one would be right near the camp grounds. Alas, after a small walk (seemed like ages), I finally stumbled across GZ. No where is it. After looking around for a while, finally located the hide - easier than I thought! Perhaps if it wasn't raining, this would have been more fun. Still, TFTC
Nice cache in a beautiful location. Quick and easy find. Thank heaps FVPS.
After Mrs DISK went for a drive over the Bridle Track , it was time to head north to our camp spot for the night, via a detour to the Baroota Reservoir and the caches along the way .
Well, we've setup our camp now, so it was time for a short walk before making dinner .
All quiet in this part of the camping area today, with not a drop of water in the creek . TNLNSL.
Thanks FVPS.

EZ find. The hard part was crossing Mambray Creek which is flowing beautifully.

Day twenty of my across the Nullarbor, then to Perth via Denmark trip. Unfortunately I was now on my way back home after a great couple of weeks getting to Perth, I guess it had to happen at some point. I am now really close to the end, but not before attend the June Long Weekend events nearby in Wirrabara.
Next on the list was a visit to Mount Remarkable National Park. Wow, what an amazing location, sure glad I stopped in today. Stopped in to check out the campsites on the way out and to find this cache.

Great area around here. Thanks for placing cache here, it added to our enjoyment of the day and was a nice easy find for us and the kids.
Got me to leave the track and see something else. Should have worn proper shoes, not sandals. TFTC
