I think it might be in the middle of the trees that have been destroyed/cleared. So sad, probably was a beautiful area! Will send host a message
Info from fellow cacher suggests this one is gone. We wil check on our return home but at present will disable it.
I haven't been to the races here. It looks like there are some substantial facilities. TFTC
Easy find despite my gps showing 48 Mtrs out. Good view of the racecourse. Thank you dghoffy
Great caching really good things in it and great spot I went straight past it multiple times
Sunshine and an opportunity to go caching, what a great combination. After parking the caravan at the Bega showground (where we will be for a few days) we were out finding caches. Got this one. Scenery beautiful. Our thanks to dghoffy for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Found with gwd.aussie.
After eating our fill at EAT Merimbula it was decided to head north for the afternoon to grab a few caches. A quick find by gwd.aussie.
Thanks dghoffy

Introducing Megan_19 to geocaching. Her first find . Nice and close to home this one. TFTC
Found however there were 2 containers...one was camo with no log inside the other was round and clear with log inside. Signed log and hid both containers in same spot.
Nice easy find.
Camping at Hobart Beach Camping Ground, Bournda N/P for the week.

Today was a continuation of the SST circuit, as well as putting some other caches on the list to be found with ilook4geo. We had a good caching day and found some interesting and fun hides. Most logs and containers were in good condition and each log was signed before being returned to its proper place. Thank you to dghoffy for placing and maintaining this cache, which we enjoyed finding.
Out today doing some caching with goingplaces2, as well as exploring new places on the Sapphire coast. We had a fun day and are happy to log all the caches we found, including this one. TFTC.
Third day of my far south coast road trip. A start in Eden today with some numbers in the VB series before slowly working my way north again. Again good quality caches all day, thanks for that.

Thanks for our first geocaching find. Too bad someone decided to use the hiding place as a toilet recently!
I'm an Aussie living in Japan. Today I"m back visiting and staying with family in the area, My Granny used to live in Kalaru and I always enjoyed bushwalking around the area. Today I went bushwalking in the area for the first time in about 30 years so it was very enjoyable to do it. This time with the extra joys of geocaching. I went for a 9 hour walk and this was my 2nd DNF of the day I don't know why but I searched for a good 30 mins or so but no luck.
TFTC Easy park and grab nice and dry retrieved Ellie the Tb and dropped confusions Geocoin found with Monkeymoos

As usual I decided to scramble through the spiders webs and bush to reach the GZ only to find a nice veh track going past it not 2M's away from the cache. Stilll it was a quick find once I was at the GZ. TFTC.
Good parking. I took the TB 'Projekt Twenty Thirteen Geocoin - Black Nickel'. I left some bracelets. TFTC dghoffy.
We soon found this cache once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found but not before dropping off the Projekt Twenty Thirteen Geocoin - Black Nickel Trackable. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
And they’re off. Geoson # 1 won the race to the cache, and was rewarded with the log. TFTC.
Jsson and myself went for a trip to find caches in the BFH and SST series. We logged as IJ. A lovely sunshine day with some clouds and a light breeze.
We found many nice and partly challenging caches during our road trip.
Thanks for placing a cache for me to enjoy and find.

Yay, a big cache! Geokids we’re thrilled for the easy find and swaps. Sneaky place to watch the races too. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
We enjoyed our visit to the other side of the race course. The bush setting reminded us of the area behind our local race course in Spreyton. All was very quiet this morning.
We had no trouble finding the well hidden cache. All was well with the container and contents.
Thanks dghoffy for this cache and for bringing us to this nice spot.

Find Number 1598, found at 09:08
With the current Groundspeak promotion encouraging caching for the numbers, GeoSon NationalSteel and I decided to try for all 100 finds in a two day weekend. The only significant series that neither of us had found was the SST, so we set off down South to try our luck. With 50 caches found yesterday, we needed another 50 today to complete the mission.
We had a difference in GPS coordinates on this one The phone and the dedicated GPS were well apart. My GPS was spot on so I made the find while NationalSteel was looking in the wrong place.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log using the signature GT/NS and replaced the container as found
Thanks dghoffy for the cache.

Day 2 of our raid down south to try and get 100 finds for the Hidden Creatures souvenirs. Today was another big day with over 60 finds, breaking G&T's daily record, getting very close to my record and more importantly passing my 4000th find milestone. We started the day by heading back from Bega to this spur of BFH caches, getting a few more in the area and then resuming our clockwise loop of the SST. My phone GPS started to go a bit strange here and stayed strange for the rest of the day, but fortunately G&T's eTrex was as reliable as always. TFTC!
After returning from travel a week ago I find my feet still itchy, so here I am driving, caching 3 hours or so from home. Actually a daytime drive turned into a weekend .
Not really much to see here unless it's race day, plus a tip nearby.
Cache found quickly and in good condition

A very quick and easy cache to find. We pulled up and immediately guessed where the cache would be before we located it. There was some nice trades in there to.
Found with justjessie on a long weekend get together. Great day of caching thank you for the cache.

Heading south from Sydney with Brewmaker Himself & Muppet95, with the idea of two full Caching days around the Sapphire Coast. Found this Cache as part of our two day adventure...

Overnight trip around the SST with Seemyshell and Brewmaker. I was really impressed with the wide range of unique styles and sizes. Another huge selling point on these were the interesting names for the caches (instead of numbered), which makes it easier to remember each location and find. Thanks to all the Cache Owners of the Sapphire Coast (namely dghoffy and elysium_au) for injecting the greater area with good quality caches. Thanks For The Cache!
The smaller trail was great - it really sped up the find rate! Nice quick find here

On a two day road trip with Seemyshell and Muppet95 searching for caches around the Sapphire Coast. So many various hides along the way. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches in such a beautiful area to visit.
Made a detour from the Sapphire trail to do a few more along this road. Easy PAG along the road. Almost reached out from the car. TFTC

Last full day on a South Coast holiday, so I had to make the most of being near caches unfound. I had my geobrother Wombat2005 along for the day, and together we found 50 caches.
We battled the sun, tics and a few dnfs but had a good haul in the end.
Thanks for the caches.
