We were off to the USA and Canada for a few weeks of holiday, and thoroughly enjoyed traveling around, and visiting the many different places and caches we came across
This one was next up on our list for today, so we peddled around, and soon pulled up out the front, with magnificant views of the memorial, and out over the lake We made our way inside, and took plenty of photos, and after a quick walk around, we soon had the answered we needed A great spot here, and of course amust visit spot in D.C. [^]
TFTC Trevelyan's R&R, our answers have been submitted, and a fav point from us!

Getting towards the end of another hot day in Washington and I slowly made my way around to this, my last, monument while in town. Worked out the required answers, counted what was required and sent my e-mail off.
A grand old monument and I'm glad I made the effort to get here. Loved the shop down below.
Thanks for another one guys.....

I went to GZ and was watching all the bikers plan to take off for a ride so got distracted thinking I was missing something then spotted the first clue as I turned around. TFTC.
#1438 Did a walking tour starting with the White House and continuing to many of the monuments. The weather was unusually nice for DC in Aug. Thanks for keeping this active. Answers were emailed. We lover virtuals and are rarely disappointed. Also had a nice chat with the ranger, but he couldn't help us with the Bonus question. TFTC
Love this memorial. Beautiful & inspiring - putting things into perspective. Thank you for putting this together and drawing attention to an aspect overlooked.
Evening is the best time to visit.

11737 20:47:00 Spent the first part of the day grabbing some challenge caches and then the latter part wandering round DC again. Grabbed quite a lot of virtuals (there aren't many back home in England, so it's nice to be able to get some when you get the chance).
This one took me ages to work out where I should be looking...

One of the reasons I'm enjoying living in DC are all the memorials with dozens of steps to run up and down during my jogs. Now only if swimming was allowed in the Tidal Basin...
A week of touring and caching with my GeoDad in Washington. Awsome sight. Now where is the table? Thanks for the fun!
Cool cache! My dad, starseeker1, and I found this while visiting the DC area after my cousins wedding. TFTC! Will post answers when I get to my hotel.
Thanks for the terrific cache. Found the cache after coming to the area for my nieces wedding.
We were on a driving vacation of the South Eastern States and picked up a few caches when they were conviently close so that we had at least one in each state along our journey. TFTC!
Amazing thoughts and quotes in this memorial. I really enjoyed reading them.

I am in the area from Savannah Georgia for work and of course I remembered my G P S'r so that I could feed this addition of Geo Caching. The coordinates for this cache were accurate and it did not take me too long to have the needed information or log in hand, depending on the type of cache. Thanks for putting this together and for bringing me to this area.
I spent a good part of the afternoon this first day making my way around the National Mall visiting all of these great monument and memorials and gathering smiles on the map!

This was a very interesting cache to visit and acquire the answers for. The memorial is well worth the extra walk it took to get there... It's very visually striking and very informative.

This was cache number 17 on the day for Mrs SeeKPeeKRs and I. We were on a "Virtual Tour" of DC. We ended up picking up 25 caches today as well as walking just under twelve, yes 12, miles. We enjoyed the area a lot. In fact we spent a good bit of time here. At one point we had to retrace our steps. Thanks for keeping this one going. (email sent)
I noticed recently that I hadn't finished researching or logging this cache from a long time ago! So, I thought I had better complete it. Finally went back on Oct 18 to answer Q2 Had a lovely view out onto the water, and a nice red/pink sunset as well back in June, and a lovely October day today. Cheers Gav the Kiwi [116]
