I’ve been trying to get down and do this series for awhile now, do an early stArt with the geopup and we managed to walk the series. We had 1 dnf as there was spitfire caterpillars at gz but otherwise I managed to collect some smileys . Some of the caches were floating in water others were buried in decaying mulch. The walk was lovely with lots of bird life and lily of the valley flowering everywhere. Tftc
Day 136 of our 366 day straight challenge. Out for the morning with BradyBunch18 to knock off this series.
Another quick find. Log signed, swaps made and cache replaced as found. TFTC

Had a drive down south with the geohound to finish off the nearby 3 Bears series and to walk the Oakford Stakes loop All caches were nice quick finds, except AP 014 which was a DNF in spite of a decent search. All other caches were found as intended although the logs were full & wet in the following: AP 005, AP 006, AP 010 & AP 012. I have placed a new log in each of these 4 caches. I left the old logs in the caches as the CO might like to retrieve them but as they were wet I have left them outside the bag. Hopefully that keeps the new logs dry longer It was a lovely walk around these bridlepaths today, a wam & sunny winters day. A few householders spotted and of course lots of horses, but no muggles on the paths to contend with Most enjoyable - TFTC
Found AP 002 Oakford Stakes Mr Ed. TNLN First to sign replacement log sheet. TFTH Allied Pranksters.
Came out today to find a few caches and to give the dog a good walk. Beautiful area and lovely walk but of all 6 caches in this series, this is the only one we could find. Don't know if winter grass is hiding any of them but has a fair but not overly long look at each spot. Have to go out now so am not logging the dnf

The dogs were bugging me for a walk so decided to do some caching while I was at it. It was a pleasent walk along the deserted bridle trails today no flies and only the odd mozzie. Plenty of ants through. This one was a nice quick find which I was grateful for maybe I have warmed up now. TFTC Allied Pranksters
Up and out early this morning before the forecast rain. Decided to do both Nelly and Ed so parked up at the gates on Peters Road and began a pleasant and easy walk around the bridle tracks. Found 14 caches in total, all in good condition.
Loving the easy paths and the nice hides.

The youngest geokid and I decided to head out here fir any early morning walk.
ChickenHawk07 and I really enjoyed our walk around the trail. All caches were found easily with spot on coords and in good condition.
I would really recommend this series for families with kids.
Have you logged your WILL ATTEND for WA GOES BIG in 2016 ?
I have and am looking forward to seeing as many of you in Pinjarra on the WA Day long weekend.
Log you will attend at GC5YAGP

Firstly, I am so SO sorry for logging these finds so late!
Came through here during the Term 3/4 school holidays last year and got through most of the series before my hayfever hit me really really hard. Major downside to geocaching in a state where you're allergic to almost EVERYTHING. The attack was so bad I had to go straight home, I didn't even to attempt finding some of the last caches in the series. I told myself I would be back soon to find the remaining caches and would log all my finds together once that happened. Unforrrtunately that didn't happen until today (15/03/16) soooo, here are my logs! Better late than never, right??
I really enjoyed this walk and there are some lovely folks in this neighborhood that I had the pleasure of chatting to. I ran into a group on a trail ride with some kids on ponies and thought it was a fantastic experience for the youngsters during the school holidays. The man running the outfit asked if I was "GPS-lookin" so I'm guessing the people here are aware of and friendly to cachers.
AlliedPranksters, I really enjoyed this series and the walk, even though it landed me in bed for a day or two. Thanks very much.

After 9 holes at the nearby golf course, we came here for a walk. Easy finds except for 6 and 7. TFTC
TFTC! Out today to cleanup some of the cache trails in Oakford. Really nice walks and not too much manure out today which was nice. Great to be at one with nature, with no other people or cars around.
Thanks
Thanks
My DD suggested this series as she has ridden on the paths.
So today, I parked the GeoJazz and started the series. Most were easy finds. I walked a few km's and would have walked more, except for the rumblings and lightning of a looming thunderstorm.
Next time, I'll wear a fly veil, just like the local horses!

Another quick find while riding along the track - SWMBO let me out again . SL. Thanks to AP for the cache.
After finishing the Dog and Wonder Woman series next door we continued on the East side of Nicholson road. Much easier walk on the path and mostly simple hides here. We really liked the area, the horses and the flowers all around. Thanks for the hides.
Very excited!!! Our first ever find!!! We took a little chipmunk figurine and left a key ring.
Now we know what to look for, we are on to 003... TFTC

Decided to drag the geohound Charli out and make a start on the Oakford Stakes series of caches today. Parked on Nicholson Rd near AP 008 and did the loop of Nelly and Mr Ed, got back to the car after about an hour and half.
Most were pretty straight forward finds which made for a very pleasant stroll, thankfully the rain held off today.
Saw the rather large object at GZ on approach here but the cache was in the first place I looked.

Our for a beautiful stroll with Nieshnellie and geo daughter and geo dogs. Great quick find.
Out for a ride on my geobike to finish the oakford series with brookestar, cachehunter and AlliedOz who has found already but tagging along for the ride TFTC!!!
Headed out early this morning to knock off as many of the Oakford Stakes series as I could. The first loops on the agenda were Nelly and Mr Ed. I parked the Geo-i30 near the gates to the bridal trail on Peters Way and took the geobike. It helped that I had solved the finals last night so I could grab them on the way around as well. Stopped here while a few horses cantered past. Another quick grab. TFTC.
Great fun for the geokids! Only one swap available so left a fun toy for the next person! Tftc!!
While the geo-wife was at a Enjo party at my geo-sisters place in Forrestdale, I decided to head out and grab a few Oakford Stakes caches ... parked about 90 metres from AP008 and did the Nelly and Mr Ed series'. Had an enjoyable walk of about 6km, picked up 13 smilies and exchanged greetings with some friendly horsey type people along the way.
First of the Mr Ed Caches for me and I note that it is AP 001 ... so I guess it is the first of 500+ AP caches to date. Very pleased indeed to be signing the log here .
As I was signing the log, a lady rode up on the bicycle that I had seen at the previous cache. She was leading a horse being ridden by a young girl and we all exchanged greetings.
Signed the log and noted the reqired number. Thanks for the hide Allied Pranksters

Out to collect some of the Oakford Stakes caches with mixed results...Very quick find here after crossing the little stream...TFTC
I set out early this morning, before it got too hot, to tackle a couple of the series here. I collected the clues for the final as I went. I did have some trouble with the coordinates for the final on this series [?]. However; had a great walk and saw a lot of horses. TFTC Allied Pranksters
Went out this morning to do a bit of horsing around.
Found some, missed a few, but had lots of fun doing so.
Thanks for the cache, Allied Pranksters.

Up in Perth for the week and wanted some exercise and so we set of and walked this circuit. Found the cache quickly. Thanks AP.
Once again I have found myself with a day off of work and the young jokers in school. Alas Mrs Jokers was also at work, so I settled on doing some of the caches that have been on my to do list in this area for some time.
In preparation I read several logs and saw that previous finders have ridden this series and it struck me as a brilliant idea. I’m so happy I took my bike as it meant less time in the off and on (tho mostly on and on and on) showers today and after my typical later than planned start I was able to knock off 13 of my planned 14 caches for today.
I parked alongside Nicholson Rd closest to AP 008 Oakford Stakes Nelly and started my journey, I also finished Mr Ed as well. A little under 5 ks today, but enough distance in the rain and I was rather soaked by the end of the ride.
Bugs, birds and horses, so many horses were encountered in the ride but none on the trail, most either running away from me or coming to the fence to check me out.
Care was taken to sign the logs out of the drizzle and all caches were in good order.
This will be a cut and paste log for the most part as nothing overly exciting happened apart from my huge smile as I rode around enjoying it immensely, the few pictures I took will be placed on the finals of each series.
Quick find and onto the next, the rain has held off for 20 minutes so starting to dry out, still grinning like a fool, love this series!
Thanks again Allied Pranksters for a brilliant series, WA caching is better for your efforts.

Almost spring with the sun shining a great day to be out and about to finish the Oakford Stakes.
Some of the logs are damp but no problem at all to write on with our new Mitsubishi Pencil.

Back to finish the last of the Oakford Stakes. Enjoying the walk and easy finds. TFTC Allied Pranksters.
Continuing along the path, as the GPSr counted down I could spotted the familiar colour in the series After adding our names we returned the hide with a bit more cover and were soon moving along to the next TFTC Allied Pranksters. All is good and dry with the cache.
2nd in the series here, and the walk continues.
Thanks again AP's, loving the exercise.

Found @ 09:02!
Find #02 on a morning hunting for some Oakford Stakes!
Find #2 of this series and was glad for the familiarity of the nearby 'Nelly' series.
Easy to spot the typical cache cover for this one...
Good because my GPS was taking a while to settle and there was a muggle in the nearby field (so wanted to be quick in case they noticed me)!

Back up here today, yet again. The only way to do these series is by shank's pony. Was getting rather overheated and thirsty by now (left my water bottle in the car, didn't I??) But I carried on and ended up doing all three series. No wonder my feet and legs are sore tonight. Thanks Allied Pranksters
I had my bike down this way finishing off the Periodic table series, so decided to pull in and clean up the Oakford Stakes series also. I enjoyed the ride around and found all caches easily. TFTC
With snake season officially opened the long grass here made me a bit nervous. But easy find.
Hey this is going so smoothly I think I'll detour right and tackle the Merrylegs series while so close. Have I mentioned the self inflicted curse of the black jelly bean.

Nice walk, saw a bobtail hiding in the grass close to the cache. Took nothing left fridge magnet. TFTC
The typical cacher concealment on the top of this one help me spot it. Got to love those that help out the next person [^].

Thanks for another series of caches Allied Pranksters.

Some girls rode past on a horse riding lesson. You can pick those horsey types a mile away! Thanks for the cache Allied Pranksters.
Stopped to talk to a local halfway between this cache and the last. Another quick find. Really enjoying the walk
Worked out what I did wrong the other day - I forgot to write down the clue. I backtracked the caches today and got the other code I needed. [:(!] Now off to find the Mystery cache.
Out and about on our weekend morning caching walk with little B. Done no1 on the last round so I only have 5 to find today.

So I finally made it South to launch an attack on this Mega Series.
43 Caches to do in one day, covering I at least 30 km of bridle paths (once you account for my dodgy navigation).
I would have really enjoyed the walk, but decided that the way to go to day was by Geo bike.
Even better I had a borrowed Geo bike from Mr FELIX, as my pushy would never have made it round.
Mrs Felix also accompanied me on her own quest to clear the area of Munzees !!!
From start to finish the series took 7.5 hours, which included a few diversions and the obligatory Munzee hunts.
I certainly would of never made it round on my own by foot, I would of been camping overnight for sure.
The series offered a great selection of Cache types, with varying difficulties but by late afternoon I had achieved 43 from 43.
Many thanks to the Allied Prankters for laying such a great trail, and to the two Felix's for their generosity both with their time and equipment !!!!

Another quick find, great walk around. Thanks for the series we are loving it.
We took advantage of the cooler change in the weather and decided to tackle a bit of this series. Made another a quick find here. TFTC
As it was going to be a cooler day today we decided to tackle the Oakford series as it promised to be a good walk - and it was. Got Mr Ed & Nelly completed as well as a few around Byford after lunch. It was an easy and enjoyable walk in an area we had not previously visited. Co-ords were all pretty spot on. Signed log and left one of our stretchy lizards.
Having found this one, suddenly realized we forgot to take down the number in the lid at the first cache . Luckily it was not a long way back and it was a nice day for a walk anyway.
Thanks for the series Allied Pranksters - we will be back to tackle the remaining 4 groups. [^]

Had a big day out caching with iluvtrekking in a 13 hour marathon and recording our PB in number of finds.Started very early and managed to complete the entire series by making a guys team and a girls team. This is a fabulous series and the co-ords are all pretty much spot on. Enjoyed the walk (the guys cycled their part) along the bridle paths and checking out the surrounding properties. Met WA K Team along this section. Well done Allied Pranksters.
Nice to have a cool change so we decided to go for a walk around this trail and tackle of the caches. Spotted WA K Team's car at the entrance to the first 14. Another easy find here. TFTC!
Today was a cooler day, and I had the day free, so I decided to come down and try to tackle this series. I did it all on foot, but would definitely recommend a bike, as the only really sandy section was going out to #20. In the end I ran out of time and missed 4 caches, but in total I found 44 (a record for me for caches found on a single day), and covered almost 26kms on foot! Phew!!
I found it difficult to find the right way in to the bridle trails, and I tried to park as close as possible to cache 1 to start at the beginning, and I parked on Old Dairy Court (not recommended), but found that there was a creek full of murky water under long grasses between me and the cache coming from this direction. Some suggested parking coordinates as an additional waypoint would be helpful for these series. In this area I covered over 11kms and found 20 caches before returning to the car.
A nice easy walk and a nice easy find here. I was happy to have done the harder series first, and move on to the easier finds now.
I saw that Richlink, Iluvtrekking and WA K Team had been here before me today. Thanks for the cache and the series The Allied Pranksters Crew!

Teamed up with richlink for a Caching Marathon day. We split into teams, the two boys on bikes and the two girls "Shanks' Pony".
We really enjoyed this well planned and well thought out series, so relieved to find a logical order to it all. Top job Allied Pranksters.
