Construction is ongoing, and Parks VIC has updated its estimate to be completed in late 2024. The area is still closed off with construction barriers. https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/projects/melbourne-region/gipps-street-ramp. I'll keep an eye on it and will replace the hide once the area reopens. Ill post an update in December.
Disabling the cache due to the Yarra Trail Closure for upgrade works. At this stage it is due to open Mid 2024 but works are looking like to continue for a little while longer.
Couldnt get to this one today due to the work being done on the ramps down to the river bank from the nearby footbridge. Will try again another day.
Checked the construction and it said it will take about a year until they finish so maybe unaccesible?
I tried going to the trail but construction was blocking off each way to get access to the cache but hopefully there is a way to access
I've looked for this once or twice in the past and regularly cross the nearby bridge on the way to work, but I've always been short of time or in the wrong clothes for another look.
Today I was dressed a little more casually and made the time.
It took a few minutes of meandering, but I soon enough spotted a lkely location and voila - a smile finally.

✓ Kurung thanks you for the cache!
✓ Found and Signed 7/5/23
Found with MrSauced, GeoRRider, arvaross
Finished up tonight after a meal at the Stomping Ground to find some caches. After coming from a find at Long Tall Coldy we headed back here to finally retrieve the find.
I'm sure my DNFs have been pressing but I'm super happy to get the find now.
How fun is night caching!

New tactis. Get to the exact co-ordinates, look and if no luck, read more comment. Decent climd but fairly easy find. I hope my matches keep coming in boxes, rather than plastic, for a while longer: David
Had to climb a little but wasn’t too hard to find. Have to keep an eye out for curious muggles.
I certainly fell for some of the red herrings below but the cache was more straightforward than I first expected. TFTC!
Didn't have much hope due to lots of DNFs but found it! Forgot my pen but there's a fresh logbook in there for the next person to find
No luck again today, search for about 30 minutes with the relevant hints. Got pretty scrubby this time too.
But hey, I'm glad it's still there, I just can't seem to find it.
The weather was a lot nicer to be able to search without mud, so I spent more time in the right area but just couldn't spot it.
Fyi, it appears the trail may be closed for maintaining soon. See poster attached.

Cache is still safe and sound. The terrain rating reflects the cache location, and the difficulty rating reflects the hide. Also no need to go through any private property to reach this cache.
Also If you are walking past and not searched for the cache (note the terrain), please list this as a write note rather than an a DNF please.

Attempting to reach the matchbox today I decided to do the worst possible idea, and come from up top to ruffle the feathers of the grass upstairs.
With a TB in hand, I was determined to find this cache once and for all against the odds of all previous DNFs, to give some more incentive for other players to find.
All I was left with was dust, grass seeds and and dirty clothes. Another time!
Thanks for keeping the cache alive and adopting also!
Fyi: don't go the way I went. There's a better way to search around...

Added a new temp log to the cache, as the book was a little too big. Cache is still in place and ready to be found. The terrain and difficultly reflect the cache location.
Very overgrown area unfortunately, and hard to navigate through in clean clothes. I will return
Take care my friend. I do happened to read as bout this cache. Have not attempt yo find it yet. Will try one day. Greetings from Singapore
Due to my age and my inability to climb now aged 79 years and my recent cancer treatment have decided to transfer my ownership of this cache to queenant89

Cache is nice and safe and sound, at its GZ location.
Nice views today and lovely running water sounds are relaxing. Previously looked for this one in the past, but an easy find today!
This cache will get some love with approval of the CO with new logbook over the coming week.
Due to my Medical Circumstances I am unable to continue with the maintenance of my cache and am now looking for another cacher to take over this cache.
If so please contact me .

Due to several cachers being unable to locate this cache , and the long grass now evident and the sighting of a snake recently I would like to disable this cache until further notice.
Super overgrown area. Found a snake so please be careful if you're climbing up. DNF
Scrambling all over the wall when the Yarra seal swims past with his crowd of onlookers. I’ll come back another day.
Nowhere near as visible as it must've been once upon a time. Had to cheat with other's found photos and even then the slab that gives it away is barely visible due to foliage growth. Good fun find though
Only had a short look. Pretty part of the yarra. Might have to come back with more time and try again.
Was down in Collingwood today, and as this cache had not been found by me yet, I came a bit further south to correct that, which I have done, Thanks one-eyed and Iamapom, all is in good condition here today, but I cannot say that about myself after the climb and return to pathway
Thank God for reading the comments, is a good climb but not ideal for wet weather
Loved the chance to look down on bellatijo with an air of superiority. For the record, it's my find!
Pleased to be able to log this one. I had come to look for it by myself a few months ago but not had much luck and given the multitude of passing muggles, didn't want to look too suspicious for too long. Three of us seem a lot less suspicious today though so after a bit of scrambling around, __Cat__'s +1 managed to find the cache and toss it down. TFTC!
Another one! Forgot my pen at the top of the hill so posting a photo for proof. TFTC!
Started looking I’m the concrete fence though after a little climb found it immediately.
There were too many muggles passing by to really start looking for this cache. TFTC
After searching around the wrong side we finally narrowed down the search. GPS bounced around a bit but something looked out of place and bingo! TFTC
Don’t trust your GPS for this one! A short scramble through spring scrub led us to this one
Not such a quick find. Not as obvious as it seems. We broadened our search beyond where the coordinates seemed to want us, then made the find instantly. Tftc.
First to find with new log book! Also our first of many on our Studley Park Yarra trail tonight. Thanks! Found with newbie Marko.
This cache was the last one on [@astoneee](http://coord.info/PR4ZE0A) 's tribute to Melbourne goodbye tour along the Yarra. First, quite convinced where to look, this spot did not turn out to be the right one. [@astoneee](http://coord.info/PR4ZE0A) again used his seventh sense to lead us nearer and I was the lucky one to retrieve it! TFTC!
On our way back from my goodbye-tour, we passed by this little secret (@nongon will stay a day longer). I had the idea, @nongon the intuition - a big grin on her face after finding it! Very nice, thank you!
Would be good if someone replaced the logbook

Fun little scramble and a fairly quick find. Log book full. Thank you for the cache!
Great views. At the start I did not know whether it was up or down. Soon picked the right path. TFTC.
Took a few minutes of looking in different places but got there in the end! Signed in an available space above and below previous entries. Tftc
Out for an afternoon stroll discovering new places, and what a cracker this area is!
Found relatively quickly after first having no luck in the first search location.
Thanks for placing a cache here!

Find # 967
Well, this has been a cache that's been a bit of a bug bear for me for a while. Had searched previously for this many many moons ago with little luck, and little inclination in my work atire, or post knee surgery, to deal wiht the physical incinclination! Today, however, was a very different situtaion, and although my initial approach made it a bit harder for myself, the eventually obvious geopile was spotted and the cache retrieved. What a relief to get this monkey off my back.
Thanks to one-eyed and Iamapom for the cache and the fun.

It's about time I knock this one off! I ride along this path on my commute to work. So I'm at GZ every weekday. I stopped once for a brief look, but didn't even get off the bike and kept riding. I am one of the few people working in Melbourne today, so I could spare a little time to get off the bike and have a look. It's didn't take long to find after looking at a couple of spoiler photos. TFTC
Kato Potato and I had just enough time to snag a few more geocaches in Kew before jumping on the freeway for the long drive home post-MEGA. This was our last cache before we had to depart Melbourne and the wait between muggles on foot and on wheels was excruciating. Somehow, we managed it and I climbed and ascended to gz. Obvious camouflage was moved and the cache signed. Miraculously, I could descend in complete isolation as no muggles appeared! TFTC Iamapom and one-eyed
Caching our way home from the Mega event and Mummy Short Legs and I decided this little pocket of caches was a good spot to stop and stretch the legs. A final stop before we had to turn around and hike back to the car in the heat. We identified the direction to head however we had to wait for the stream of muggles to slow down before MSL went so obviously off trail. I provided decoy by watching some dude throw sticks to his dogs in the water while the discovery was made and signed... although there were no more muggles during that period. Curious! Thanks for the cache one-eyed and Iamapom
**Find #2261**
I Approached this cache from Above. It was a very steep Decent. At GZ it was an easy find, the cache was sitting there all exposed. I replaced it with a bit of cover. I would not like to attempt this when it's wet. Nice views of the Yarra.
Thanks **one-eyed**

Phone gps was being a bit eccentric, and I was at a loss, but then happened to look up the slope and noticed a likely cranny. A-ha! Gotcha. A fun scramble TFTC
The Bruces and cousins were out today around Yarra Bend. Getting this one was a little bit of adventure that the younger Bruces liked. Thanks one-eye and Iamapom!
A nice Sunday so I decided to take advantage before the days became hotter and go for a cache and bike. Tried this once before but it was taining lots. Today I scrambled about and the great coords helped the find. Thanks to one-eyed and Iamapom for placing this cache.
Lovely walk along the river. First came past on a Sunday arvo but way too many muggles around to 've seen scrambling up the hill. Came back on Monday and easy find with the clues. Tftc!
Bit tricky this one. Wandered around until we went with our first instinct. Very muggley around here!
#4 today and 200 in total!!! Woo hoo!!! TFTC
P.S. it was actually quite easy one I got up there

Thanks for the cache. Found it in the way to Abbotsford convent. After checking the terrain rating we knew where to look
Found after venturing away from where my gps said was gz and armed. With help. Nice bit of exercise but worth it. TFTC.
As luck would have it I had jomingara with me today - and he'd found this cache four years ago! He was all over it! The coordinates and hint lead to the spot but I still wouldn't have found it. So thankful for his help!
I looked for this one on 25th Jan but no go. My gps was misbehaving and I was not feeling brave. Today I came dressed for the occasion and my gps was bang on. Great cache.
