Didn't find this one. Resorted to the additional hint and checked a few possible areas near where my GPSr zeroed out, but didn't come up with anything.
Found it after a nice walk through the bush. Visiting from Sydney this cache was the last of 13 caches found this trip. TFTC
Out for a days geocaching with SandersonHunters. Trying to find 24 caches in 24 hours. This was the second for the day. Sunny blues skies. Thanks.
Missed it on the way up, but found it on the way back. Brownies don't like spiders.
Found uncovered so after signing log I tried to cover it with more material. TFTC
Decided to make a day of it up at Shakespeare Bay! I have been to the park a couple of times, but never walked this trail before. Its just lovely! there must have been a lot of rain, as the streams are brown with swift flowing water. Hopefully the waterfall is going to look impressive. Thanks for the hide and bringing me here
I managed to find this one today with the help of Miss 4 and Miss 1. Thanks to the clue it was a quick find which is what I need when hunting alone with the kids. We love this walk and come here often. Thanks
Found by 4Kidds Nr. 4 on New Zealand Trip. A great park and nice track.

Another one that took ages to find. Searched all possible suspects and eventually returned to where the hunt began and BINGO. It was almost totally buried but Mr Aljo somehow managed to dig out enough of the compost to spot it.
Woohoo we're on a roll. Left swag and headed off along the trail with a bit more confidence. TFTC

Today we decided to finally visit Shakspear Park and pick up the caches in the area.
Unfortunately, after a good search around all of the hollow trees near the path, we couldn't spot this container. Guess we weren't looking hard enough!!

After 20 min of research, we didn't find it, we searched on both side with a stick and looked into big holes on the ground.
First find since getting back into caching since moving up from Christchurch. A great day for restarting a wonderful pastime. TFTC.
Nice quick find. We worked out the location quickly based in the hint and soon cache was in hand. Trying to get our numbers up to match last years effort. Getting closer to that target. TFTC
Off for a wander with my best mate from school years ago. He introduced us to geocaching and we helped on some adventures before we logged our fist cache in this area. On the Heritage trail now and first find for the day. GPS continues to be temperamental so resorting to the iPhone and hoping for reception. All good on this first one.
I visited this cache with a group of ten students and a muggle teacher from St John’s College in Hamilton as part of their camp week. Over four days and three nights we visited Orewa, Whangaparoa, Waiwera, Whangarei, Paihia, Waitangi and Russel. We generally signed the logs SJC GEO Camp to save each student needing to sign the log. The boys literally ran from Geocache to Geocache trying to beat each other to the find. By the second to last day they had all at least found one cache each. They all seemed to enjoy the experience and hopefully will decide to keep Geocaching as a consequence. We found a great variety of caches in some amazing spots. A huge thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining all the caches we found.
When I reached GZ one of the boys was sitting leaning against a tree cache in hand with a huge smile on his face, proud as punch. The rest had taken off in the hope of being the first to the next Geocache on the walk. The scenery was fantastic, particularly the large warped trees. I don't know that it was as appreciated by the boys as it was by me however.

Nice hiding place, what a great start to the track with the trees closed in overhead. Struggled a bit to extract the log from the container.

Number two find on the Heritage trail, as soon as I got to GZ I knew where I should be looking, and luckily Mr 4 stuck his hands in to fish it out
Great cache! As we were making our way to thing cache we came across some new cachers who hadnt managed to find this on and had forgotten a pen. Fortunately I had a spare pencil in my bag so I gave it to them to take with them the rest of the way. tftc
What a nice easy one to follow up with. Quite easy to locate.
Didn't log as had no username when we found but was with NZ Chicky and NAMTAB

After waiting for some muggles to pass, and looking in a couple wrong places, we found this one fairly quick.
We enjoyed this track and all the part in the forest. Nobody to disturb us looking after the caches!!
Missed on the way up (tree cover meant that we were no getting the right fix). Quickly located on the way down
Well couldn't find this one I think I have missed something in the name , my assistant called for time so on to the next one. Will try another day
Lots of creepy tree holes to look into. Suggest using a stick but caution u do not disturb any Weta's.
Knocked off the last cache we had to find in this amazing regional park. TFTC
Took way too long over this one, GPS everywhere , hint a little vague, I'm telling Kay we should be able to reach it from the path, she was right it was a bit away
All good, thanks!

Greetings from Denmark
Our second last day on NZ.
We desided to have this walk. It was a very hot day and we looked forward to go back to the beach.
This was a very nice area and we had it all to our self. We saw a lot of parakites and R2D2-birds (don't know the name for them [;D])
Thanks for this very fine roundtrip in a great area.

I was in the area today after deciding to go for a drive on Waitangi Day. Unfortunately this cache completely eluded me. Checked a number of likely spots, but nothing was to be found. Looks like I'll have to come back and try this one again.
We did the track and found all along this way. Nice spot and cool on the track but hot elsewhere..

Our last day in new zealand with our friend anna, who lived at orewa at the age of 16. This is a nice trail and we found this cache quite easily. Thanks & greetings from germany!
Kids and I went seeking caches while mum was at a meeting on the peninsular. Had a good look, especially in the really obvious spot, but with no joy.
Looked and couldn't find it. Then had to move on as I with a larger group. Lovely to be in the bush after being out in the sun.
We camped for a couple of nights on the Whangaporara Peninsular, while we were there we saw killer whales come right into the harbour. A truely memorable moment.
All the caches we did were in amazing locations with fantastic views of the coastline & some withe viewscross to the Auckland skyline. All are worth a favourote point, I have only selected a few but if your cache does not receive one its not that its not as good as the rest.
Thanks for placing this cache Team Welsh
Out with a group of friends grabbing caches in Shakespeare Park today. What a glorious day for it.
That took some systematic searching. But I found it in the end. nice.
Find #648. Thanks for the cache. 24/08/2014 16:59

Replaced this cache again, this time in a slightly different place. Updated co-ords and clue to match. Please recover well to avoid detection.

We couldn't find this either - the hollow was very deep and had no torch or gloves!
We are not able to get up here to check this one out for another week or so, but don't want to disable at this stage. Pretty sure it is still there but probably needs a tool to retrieve or very long arms.
Out with hoofnt. GPS had us on opposite side to clue. Looked both sides of path in all the hollows but came up empty. May try again soon
Found this one back in early 2012 (first few days) with friends - forgot to log it TFTC!

Hmm was a hollow dream for Lo Vista to retrieve so had to have a helping hand from Ro Vista to retrieve this cache safely. Cute cache container, but having owned a similar type of hide - one day the cache will suddenly disappear into the dark abyss. Love the walk through there.

Nice way through the kauri forest - we like these old trees and even more the small once growing. One little pupil greated us "save the kauris" so we did. We had not only long arms with us also a flashlight. Luckily we found the cache. Thank you for hiding in this great area.
Very good camo! Almost missed it! Be careful of the Kauris! Save the Kauris!!
Arms too short or cache missing. Think I was looking and reaching in the right spot.
