Had 5 sets of eyes searching high and low for a magnetic cache as previous hints suggested and no luck.. found a huntsman spider and lots of bull ants
Our GP brought us directly to a possible structure. Searched high and low with no luck. Read a past log which hinted at a magnetic attachement, but alas, no luck today. Thanks anyway Three Geo Amigos.

With friends 3 weeks on the road to explore Tasmania and South Australia. We experienced great landscapes, people and animals. By the way, many caches were also visited. Thanks for the great impressions.
Out and about on the island today after attending the Parkrun event. My 117th parkrun today, and another 20 cache to my name. A bunch of drivebys, a maccas breaky, ice cream at the chocolatier snd back home for a rest. A pleasant mornings fun, tired now, might snooze.
We were holidaying on Phillip Island with the geobeagles. We had lunch at the nearby swish restaurant and afterwards we drove down the small road from the restaurant to Phillip Island Rd. When we were nearly at the end of the road we noticed on our GPSr that there was a cache only about 30 metres away along the main road. As we were the last people to leave the restaurant we were able to park on the small road. We then wandered the short distance to GZ.
Luckily there weren't many cyclists on the bike path this afternoon. [^] Thanks to the spot-on co-ords we found the cache easily but needed a fair bit of strength to retrieve it as it had a very strong magnet. We signed the log at 4:15 pm and then returned the cache to its hiding spot. TNLN.
Thanks The Three Geo Amigos for the well-hidden cache in what can be a very busy location at times.

While visiting the Island for a few days I had a couple of opportunities to find a cache or two.
With the others resting I took off into the night to grab a few nearby caches.
Thankfully a quick find was made.
Log signed and replaced as found.

Spending the weekend in Phillip Island so thought we'd take the opportunity to grab some caches alongside the help of Divewombat and family. This one was nice quick and easy and a good one to start us off. TFTC CIGC TNLN
Caching this weekend looking for the gems in the museum mystery hunt. Grabbing caches after the local CITO today. Had to chase a couple of geese asking to become road kill off the road but found the cache after. TFTC The Three Geo Amigos
Not so easy find. Zedaycee had to teach some of the local gees that they need to stop at the curb we are here on the island for a CITO thanks for the cache The Three Geo Amigos
Caching with Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.

Number 1 for the day and 15 overall on our trip to the island.

This was our first find for the day but 15th for the weekend. Took a little bit of searching, it wasn't till I was reading previous logs that something was said to make us change direction and there it was. Thanks for the fun
After our arrival in Melbourne we drove directly down to Philipp Island, our first stop in Victoria. Here we looked and found some boxes before we were heading to the Penguin Parade. Thanks to the co‘s for placing and maintaining the caches. Found and logged together with GPS-Wickie, Mikaching and Swerik.
Today we started our journey with a flight from Sydney to Melbourne. Watching the news it was perfect timing, because Sydney was hit by heavy rain, thunder and lightning the same night.
For our accommodation here on the island we had chosen the Ramada Restort. It was a good spot for starting our different adventures. Already on our way to the resort we started to stop for a couple of caches. Later we took a nice walk and continued to find caches in the area. We finished our day to attend the attraction of the island, the penguine parade.

My wife is sleeping in this morning so I'm trying to complete as much of this pathway series as possible on our weekend away. I am being lazy and driving between caches because I don't have a bike and I don't have enough time to walk it! Thoroughly enjoyed the series, Thankyou so much for all the well maintained and creative caches.
Today was time to get out the geocycle and travel along one of the many routes in the area so today we found 23 traditionals with 8 DNFs it was not a great day but it was a good day for a ride but those DNFs bring the day as a whole down but thats caching (Cache Blindness) or they just werent there only the cache owner knows which is the case. The other option is the lack of GPS accuracy using Iphone as GPS wasn't preloaded before going for the ride.
Thanks The Three Geo Amigos for placing this a cache in this location for us to find and add to our found collection
Grand Cache count = 841 total consisting of 756 Traditionals, 24 Multi, 14 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual, 6 Event, 2 Werigo and 2 Letterbox.

Had a rare free Saturday with the family overseas so I planned a day of caching on Phillip Island. The forecast 40 degree heat didn't deter me though I tried to plan caches without too much walking and of course I avoided the area closed due to fire danger. This series was high on my list but I soon realised that being in the car and not having my bike today it wasn't going to be so simple to access. Found this one easily enough but decided to skip a few and head to the brew pub for lunch and some respite from the heat. My ninth find of 30 for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series The Three Geo Amigos.
On a 6 day tour of Victoria with Barnzy12. Taking the red eye over from Perth we managed to visit some great places. The main reason for the travel was the Mega event in Alexandra and the opportunity to find 12 cache types in a day.
We originally travelled to Phillip bay, then up through the country side to Alexandra. Spent a few nights staying high in the snowfields and then moved over to Mt Disappointment. We then ended up back where we started returning the hire car at the airport to fly home.
Some quality caches were found all over the state, great to get a real range of cache sizes with some very large caches compared to what’s available in WA and the range of D/T options so close to each other was a bonus.
Thanks to all the Cache owners for you placements and creativity put into hiding and have awarded a few fav points based on this or the location it bought us too.

In Melbourne with Cravo10 to attend the Mega in Alexandra.
We took the red eye from Perth, leaving at 1am Thursday morning, and departed Melbourne early Tuesday morning, so it was a short five day trip.
We managed to snag a couple of nice stats for the trip. First mega event, 12 cache types in a day, 10 lab caches, 50th large cache find, and most importantly my 10,000th find at Mount Disappointment.
We spent the first day on a caching run from
Melbourne to Phillip Island where we had booked into the local caravan park for the evening. We cached all day chasing down a number of the whereigo and puzzle caches from the CF series, before ending the day caching the extremities of Phillip Island, where we had both never been, an amazing part of this country.
Next morning we cached our way to Alexandra which was the main reason for our trip to Melbourne as we had both never managed to attend a mega, which were hoping to rectify in WA next year! Attended the pre event and managed to get a couple of group FTFs by torchlight which was a real highlight.
Saturday we cached in and around Alexandra all day, chasing numbers, the highlight of the day would have to be the birdbox hides around Alexandra and the multi in Bonnie Doon from that famous TV show, a real nice touch!
Sunday was an epic caching day, chasing down 12 types in a day, which required a couple of huge drives to claim some of the rarer icons around. A huge caching stat which is a very rare feat in the Southern Hemisphere. We finished the day travelling to Mount disappointment where we found Melbourne's 1st cache and then started making a dent in the powertrail, finishing by torchlight.
Our last full days caching was spent at Mount Disappointment to chase some big numbers and with a few caches around the burbs for good measure.
Special thanks to all the wonderful COs around Melbourne for their brilliant caches, and to the mega committee for organising a ripper event, hope to be back next year!

We parked the car nearby and started our stroll, hoping to make it to the Forrest Caves carpark. We did. This was the second on our tour.

Out with Yorsys collecting a few caches in the Pathway series. Some of these caches were pretty hard to find which meant we lost time out of our schedule.

On the island to marshal at the MotoGP for the weekend and had an afternoon to kill before the action starts. I thought I'd start with some easyish ones along the bike path and this one was next in the sequence.

We decided we must try and get a few of the Pathway caches before it got too busy here, but it seems to be everyones favourite place. An easy find here and we were soon moving to the next cache.
Thanks The Three Geo Amigos for this placement.

Still having fun working on your series, thanks heaps for all your work and TFTC
Day out caching to Phillip Island with friends. Awesome day. Great cache. TFTC
Recent work here might have claimed it. We found a painted mint tin lid that we think was part of the cache but thats all.
We found a suspiciously mangled mint tin top and nothing else. We suspect it's been subject to some pruning and spraying around here.
No good! We found the remains of what we believe was once the cache. Think some recent cleaning up around the GZ might have destroyed it...
Befor we go home, we must do this caches. We found all cache very well. Thank you for this cache.

We had this on our site and completed the series this morning and some extra once along the way, there were some clever , some tricky hides. The weather was good to us and got all done incident free. Most enjoyable day. TFTC
Over for the Melbourne Mega and collecting a few caches while in the area.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

Decide to stay in Melbourne instead of returning for the weekend to NZ to be able to attend the Mega Melbourne event. Yorkshirekiwi83 and I teamed up again to enjoy our Sunday on Phillip Island's. We spend the morning collecting some earthcaches and the afternoon biking. The evening I decided to stay longer to experience the cute penguins parade and their young. In all it was a stunning day with perfect company, sunny weather, well done geocaches, good exercise and an awesome scenery. TFTC
Was at the Melbourne event and teamed up with fellow NZer Alpenmilch80 for the weekend, gathering some of the caches on Philip Island, had a limited time as I was flying out later that evening, but had a great time.
We were thinking of walkingt the trail but we saw people passing on hired bikes, OK that was a much better option, google showed onee option in Cowes e-bikes, awesome. This really helped us with the speed in between the caches and meant we got the ones we wanted to and returned the bikes within 4 hours. Most were quick easy finds, but there were a couple of tricky ones in the mix, had a fab time.

While staying in Frankston (waiting for the Melb Mega) we drove to join our geodaughter on the island for lunch and and caching in the afternoon. We left early to grab a few caches which she had already found and started on this nice trail.
We only ended up doing 15 before lunch time arrived but were delighted in the variety of the hides. We made a record of the enclosed clues in the hope we get to finish the series at some later stage
Plenty of 'long weekend' traffic around.
We apologise for the generic log but comments have been added on some hides where necessary.
With this hide we could see a muggle approaching so stood nearby waiting for her to pass....until she stopped and asked 'Are you Geocachng?'........very nice to meet 'Mans girl' we think she said her team name was

Back today to do more of this Pathway series. Doing it in reverse. Nice quick one. Took geoboy again. TFTC. Force was strong with this one.
Down this neck of the woods for the weekend from Geelong. We thought we would grab some caches on the way into Cowes. There were some very tricky hides in this series. It wasn't until we were over half way through, that we realised we hadn't been collecting the clues... Oh well, I'm not turning back now !! Thanks for a very entertaining morning, a lot of variety in the hides. TFTC The Three Geo Amigos.
The last one for the day. I was caching my way off the island and time was slipping by as it would be another 2 hours before I get home. Was considering having a bite to eat here, but I didn't think my caching attire would have fitted in with the dress code. (Particularly when I saw all the European vehicles in the car park.) Next time I will pack some suitable attire and come here for a meal.. TFTC
Apologies for the late logging
Down on the Island for a couple of days with Bogonghazy and decided today was a good day for caching. It was my first 'real' trip doing multiple caches
A nice quick cache for us here as we make our way back to the warm room before heading to the parade later on.
Thanks again The 3GA's
