After a few days on Phillip Island, I’m heading towards Leongatha and gathering some caches along the way One of my last few to find today TFTC The Three Geo Amigos

Perfect day for a ride to new haven and back and much easier with stops along the way!

Well this one we had a DNF here about 2 years ago. Today we were back with 3 sets of eyes. Once again we followed our GPS and nothing was happening. Geo grandson started looking in a spot a little wider to where we were and grabbed it on worries. Log signed and back where found.

At GZ, we spent quite some time to search for this cache. After quite an extensive search we found a container with a log sheet inside. We signed the log, but we are not totally certain this was the actual original cache. All the same, this is still quite an enjoyable series. TFTC Three Geo Amigos.

Bit of a tricky search but eventually located a wet log inside a broken container. We have replaced container with a similar sized one and replaced the paper. TFTC

Tricky with lots of mind changing on behalf of the gps.

We eventually found a smashed container with a soggy log and a couple of nerf darts.

After reading previous logs, we believe we found the box that a previous cacher left for others to find, and not the original container. Others have signed it so we did too.

Searched around for a while, hidden very well. Geo kiddies loved finding this one and playing around with the nature.

Found this one easily enough. Beautiful day to be out with Tashi.18 and geokids.

Searched everywhere but couldn't find

Brought my nephews along with me but despite climbing trees and looking under all manner of things, this one eluded is!

My wife is sleeping in this morning so I'm trying to complete as much of this pathway series as possible on our weekend away. I am being lazy and driving between caches because I don't have a bike and I don't have enough time to walk it! Thoroughly enjoyed the series, Thankyou so much for all the well maintained and creative caches.

Today was time to get out the geocycle and travel along one of the many routes in the area so today we found 23 traditionals with 8 DNFs it was not a great day but it was a good day for a ride but those DNFs bring the day as a whole down but thats caching (Cache Blindness) or they just werent there only the cache owner knows which is the case. The other option is the lack of GPS accuracy using Iphone as GPS wasn't preloaded before going for the ride.

Thanks The Three Geo Amigos for placing this cache however it was another of those that did not want to show itself to me today.

Grand Cache count = 844 total consisting of 759 Traditionals, 24 Multi, 14 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual, 6 Event, 2 Werigo and 2 Letterbox.

Another DNF even after a good search.

Pretty sure this is gone.

A quick find for this one. I spied the container while getting off my bike which meant less time searching and more time spent finding others.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I usually cache on my own but sometimes I will collect my nephew stinky bob and my brother stinky tom who both enjoy this hobby.
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Little tricky to find but all good in the end took travel bug

In Melbourne / Victoria for a few days holiday - as opposed to my more usual work visits. Today we headed to Phillip Island, which I've never visited before and did the proper tourist things by visiting the Koalas and the Penguins. I also did a few of the 'Pathway' caches on foot while Mrs Biggles and Flying Phoenix took a more relaxed approach to the day. Finally found a cache out here that was big enough to drop in a trackable. TFTC, Biggles.

After a good 10-15min search we1 fb y33333WW had called it for a DNF when I thought I'll just check there... tadah. Tricky bit was finding an army man about 5m away where co-ords were actually taking us.

found the cache, but no clue on the log. After having completed two legs of trails and finally notched up some numbers, so that it actually looked like we had done some caching this weekend. You certainly don't clock up the numbers doing "Wonthaggi Specials". I decided to bring geohubby here to help me find some caches that I had previously been unable to find. Glad to get another green box turn into a smiley. TFTC

We were treating these as driveby's after we loaded the bikes in the car. However the traffic on Phillip Island Road was just continuous all the time. I dont know how people live on this road. I live in SE Melbourne and the traffic is not this bad.

We decided we must try and get a few of the Pathway caches before it got too busy here, but it seems to be everyones favourite place. An easy find here and we were soon moving to the next cache.

The log book on this one is very full.

A nice, easy find. My bike was still the most comfy bike I'd ever ridden, however, due to its entire lack of a third gear and a propensity for the chain to come off the gears I was beginning to worry. Ah, it would be fine. After all, we only had three quarters of the length of Phillip Island to ride. What could possibly go wrong?

Found it! This one was a reasonably easy find for Mark, however we did spend a bit of time here doing some running repairs to our steeds. Vanessa's bike was having some gearing issues and required a bit of a talking to to get it back on track...TFTC...
