Yup can confirm that there was such a significant amount of rubbish for the size of the cache it would be unpleasant and long task of trying to find it. We looked from afar and tried to triangulate our devices to get the spot. Not today- and too many mozzies!

03-Jan-16
Will check

03-Jan-16
Pretty sure we found the cache container - or outer container at least, but not log book.

03-Jan-16
Four of us had a good hunt for this one but no find for us.

26-Oct-15
Didn't find this one sadly but was disgusted in the amount of rubbish in the area. I even had my caching puppy with me but even she couldn't find it

26-Oct-15
See... No find Sad

19-Sep-15
Tried looking for this for ages. Cannot find it. Not sure if it was removed or not

20-Jul-15
Searched for ages, no luck, lots of garbage in the area. Found a couple of munzee qr tags instead.

14-Apr-15
Not a nice find

26-Feb-15
I thought I could find this one without hesitation but there were muggles sitting down for lunch nearby. Maybe next time.

08-Feb-15
DNF. Not sure about this one, spent ages searching. Potentially over grown?

14-Jan-15
Kinda weird to have the locator in one spot, then saying the cache is about 200m away. Nonetheless, I found the memorial (260m NNW), but nothing else sadly, well a bag of rubbish behind it.

26-Dec-14
Unexpected cache! Stood looking around, and there it was, right by me feet!

02-Dec-14
Nice hide. I wrote KS in the log book as room was limited. May have recorded wrong month in cache log. Big Grin TFTC

30-Nov-14
Very clever. It's not in the cutty grass. Pro tip right there

27-Oct-14
Our third find ever was a BIG surprize. The kids were so intrigued by this one.

02-Oct-14
Sadly no tweezers handy so was unable to sign... TFTC Smile

14-Sep-14
Quite over grown. Couldnt see it

18-Jul-14
Hah very clever, took a while but found eventually with Magnum P.I. Really like this cache

13-Jun-14
I tried to approach from the business side, but that got too dangerous as I got close, so I had to go around to the easy side. I looked for several minutes and even spotted the right place, but didn't recognize the cache. The second time, I got a better look and figured it out. TFTC.

13-Apr-14
Interesting cache write up. I think I need to take up some weapons training and bring it into the office. Perhaps then we would get something accomplished! Cheers for the cache.

30-Mar-14
Great hide, thanks again.

21-Mar-14
Found on second attempt with kids whilst mum had gone to countdown. Definitely been a clean up around here

23-Jan-14
A pleasant walk before dinner, and a few caches. This is a really groovy little hide, although we have absolutely no idea what the hint meant. Thanks!

19-Jan-14
Had me stumped for a while. Nice camo. Now it's time to head to the airport - back to Sydney.

05-Jan-14
Got it, nice classic camo yet again. Even better as we dnf'd on yr nearby cache a few minutes before. Cheers Glyn

04-Jan-14
Cache number 11 for team Haqi, a great one too. It was getting a bit dark and I only have a small not very good torch. Was just about to call it off for the night when we came up with the goods. Very cool.

Nice to make it 3/3 for tonight's caching activities.

12-Dec-13
Yay! I'd failed to find another nearby cache of the CO's so had an attempt at this one. A quick inspection of GZ with my headlamp revealed something suspicious and sure enough, there was the cache! Thanks!

17-Nov-13
Great hide. Found thanks to the hint. Mapped the walkway to open streetmap
Thx for the hide

Cool geocache

25-Oct-13
Enjoyed the walkway yet again.... and found this neat tiny cache after a short uphill stint.
Found in the second spot checked. Thanks

17-Oct-13
Clever spot. Liked the riddle. Should have come on a single digit date. Tftc

30-Aug-13
Stood around in GZ thinking about the description and looking for anything out of place.

Finally spotted it and then after a bit more looking found the cache.

Yay!

15-Aug-13
Awesome hide. Love the creativity. We are now inspired for a cache we want to set up. Thank you.

09-Aug-13
Very tricky but soon found with a bit of luck. TFTC.

09-Aug-13
Had never been up this walkway before ! Didn't know anything was behind all these shops and businesses !
Was just wandering up to GZ when Ric called out " take a look at this ! "
Such a very different type of hide thanks Glyn !
It was only later in the day I thought of the relevance of the Cache name !

07-Jun-13
After having dinner in the area, we went out for another short spell of night caching around Takapuna. After parking in the Countdown car-park, we walked around finding a few nearby caches. It took a bit of searching to find this one, but we eventually spotted something out of place and found the cache! TFTC!

If we average our search time for the three of Glyn's caches we found after lunch we look pretty respectable. Mr j found this one straight away without using any of the hint or description. Not that it was easier or less clever than most of yours, Glyn - more sheer luck. NINO TFTC

03-Apr-13
Lots of mozzies around so whilst the one with tasty blood went back to the car for repellant, the other found the cache, tftc

01-Mar-13
I love it. The clues all make sense.TFTC.

03-Feb-13
While the boys of dean-crew were hitting some golf balls at a nearby driving range, I took the time to read the history. Fascinating. We parked nearby and walked to gz. The kids spotted cache straight away. I would still have been trying to work out what part of the hint came from the description. Like the hide, so gets a favourite from us. TFTC

24-Jan-13
Still filling in time being constructive to avoid a major traffic jam on the bridge heading back home in the city. Learnt the lesson to read all the history before blindly hoping to find the cache. Nice cunning hide, thanks.

16-Jan-13
Out for a quick cache after work, a nice easy find. Really awesome cache!!! TFTC

05-Jan-13
Had good look around without success - reds the hint - still nothing. After the historic lesson - bingo.

Very clever hide

SL TFTC and the challange

19-Dec-12
Should've checked the cache owners as well as cache details before setting off. Razz Must be pretty well camoed then. Another day...

11-Dec-12
Found it! It took some time though and but I learned some local history along the way which can't be a bad thing. Nice.

Since the Future Finder and I where nearby I decided to grab the last two caches along this walkway. Popped up the hill and I was initially worried the cache was over the fence. But as the GPSr caught up I soon spotted the elegant hide. Cheers for the cache placement!

Great to be out caching in the area with tmann421 today, thanks for the cache

04-Oct-12
Well, I continued down the path from the other Glyn cache to this one and I actually surprised myself and how quick I made the discovery! Maybe I'm starting to tune into Glyn's way of thinking? Or just thinking outside of a wider square? A cool cache.

01-Oct-12
Being school holidays currently, I'm off work so had time to find caches today! But seeing as I had a weightligfting comp the next day, didn't want to go too hard out, so finding park and grabs was the plan... unfortunately, that failed, as I couldn't resist this one! Wasn't too far off the street, but still.

Came the wrong way at first, and then had to do an entire loop round! Grr... haha, well I coulda jumped the fence... but was scared of cameras.

Upon arriving though, I spotted something that I figured looked like it just wasn't right from a distance away... so I toched it, and sure enough, I had the cache in my hand! Speedy! Was pretty impressed with myself! Haha.

Trouble was getting the logsheet out! But I ended up using the other side of the cache, and it came out pretty easily then! - Just that took me a while to think of...

TFTC!! Smile

23-Sep-12
New log, all good

22-Sep-12
Had a go at this one on my way along the path but couldn't find anything. Decided to have another read of the story while I walked along to the next cache and that made all the difference. Found it quickly on the way back. Log full so had to sign near the GC logo. TFTC and local "history"

15-Sep-12
Cleaver micro cache! Log full- only left initials (SB). Tftc suzibrown

2nd visit. Still took ages, carefully pacing up and down, looking for something out of place. Had nearly given up for the 2nd time when there it was. Really enjoy these hides, so clever and you have to have patience. Must be learning some at last. Thanks for the history and can see now the sublimal clues to the hide. Just initials on log as its full. SL. TFTC. Big Grin

04-Aug-12
Sneaky hide. Log book full. Kids were like "wow so small!" TFTC

Not the easiest find on dusk with out a light, clever

12-Jul-12
Second visit for me, last time I came from the wrong side and did not reach the cache site. I had to do some shopping tonight and decided to take this opportunity to look for this cache again and here it was. I couldn't make sense of the clue at first but I re-read the description back at home and understood the meaning Big Grin. Nice hide, TFTC

20-Jun-12
Another one of those Glyn caches, so at least I was prepared. But it still took ages to find a really clever hide. Thanks Glyn. By the way the log strip is pretty full.

02-Jun-12
Miss Jacksonz spotted this one, after I'd thoroughly searched the post, and not spotted it - I guess her eye-level was an advantage. Forgot to bring a pen, so had to borrow a pencil from a nearby cache (GCP866). The log strip is almost full.

12-May-12
We laughed over the history of this cache, imagining mighty warriors going at each other with hand-bags! Persuaded Rich to hop the fence as my back was not up to it... then thought about you, your trickiness and where would you most likely put it... called Rich back and shown him the cunning hide. t4tc

22-Apr-12
This was the one that gave me the most trouble all day. I was pretty sure I knew what and where to look, but kept on missing the obvious... Once I ran out of other places to look, I found it. Thanks.

It's been a few months since we have been caching and just realised we never logged this one.

2nd of three caches done with the kids tonight. I totally lucked out on this one. Walked straight up to it, and found it in first place I looked. First micro find to.

Great spot. TFTC.

01-Apr-12
After reading the cache description I thought I knew what the cache container would be but then I read what size the cache container is and knew I was wrong. The only size of container that I thought it was should be classed as large (like the one Tana was hit with).Big Grin One should not get any preconceived ideas.

Cheers for the cache.

My first micro found!!! It is tiiiny but I loved it! Spent probably 1 hour looking for it, mozzie bitten legs but so worth it! Tftc!

Found the cache easily enough and it wasn't til later that we notice the sprinkling of info amongst the history. Nicely hidden cache and a lovely little walkway. TFTC

23-Feb-12
Looked for about 20 minutes... wasn't able to find it! Will go looking again as soon as I get the chance...

22-Feb-12
Always a bit nervous for the first Glyn hide of an outing especially with a local watching.on. Very happy with an instant find here. Nice cache hide and a good walkway spot where you can search in relative peace. TFTC.

6388 Nice to get at least one Glyn cache a day fix when in Auckland on a flying visit to pick up a new bike for Mr G. Thanks for the history lessons. TFTC

Quickly spotted it, I too had difficulty in leaving a mark, and noted many others had too.

Sneaky hide but found quickly by a Junior Pastamaker while the Senior Pastamakers were still poking around at other parts of the GZ feature.

Had trouble getting the pen to write on the log but managed to scrawl a P in one of the boxes to prove we were here.

Third of three finds today in Takapuna after a day working locally. This one had eluded me two days ago so I had something to prove to myself. However, after a little search and spotting an object I'd previously noticed (and ignored) the cache was in hand.

Unfortunately, I was not able to sign the log as my pen would not work on the paper. I took a few photos of the container away from GZ if proof of my find is required, but have not posted these at this stage to avoid giving too much away.

A nice sneaky hide.

TFTC.

Decided to have a look for this one at 1 hour after sunset at around 9.45pm to assist with a challenge we are working on. This was not an easy find in the dark and we also had to fend off the many mozzies around at this time of night. Nice little walkway that is not know by many. TFTC.

Saw the notification for a new Glyn cache and were considering chasing the FTF when this 2nd cache was published and sealed the deal. Read the cache page on the drive over and enjoyed the history and the humour - conjured up great mental images!
Pleasant walk to the historical site, and soon located exactly what we were looking for - we do like your cryptic hints! Signed the blank logsheet at 11.30 am.
