Definitely missing.
Can see where it should be, but needs a more hidden spot.
Greetings from Rotorua, 11 day visit to the mainland.

We searched this one for a while with no success. There is a rock with a tree with seems good but I found nothing.
Too bad !

Found on our way back from the awesome Rob Roy Glacier walk after missing out on the find on the way up. Thanks for the cache N!mrod!
We walked up to Rob Roy Glacier today. V lucky because the mist cleared as we got there. Found the cache on the way down again. TFTC
11.40: Nice spot, indeed! On the way up to Glacier view. This cache marked the turning point of my little hike as I had to leave Gabi behind at the swing bridge. We made it across the stye with wheelchair but the bridge we were unable to cross - not so much the bridge itself but the access to was almost impossible to do. The cache itself was a fast find, the place is hardly to be missed. The view at this place is just marvellous. The bench reminds everybody to be careful when hiking in these mountains... What else: remarkable number of sheep around - baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Weather: fine, some clouds, no wind, 14°C;
Wheelchair: no, narrow mountain path, swing bridge, rocks;
State: all good.
IN & OUT: nothing.
Thank you for bringing us here!

After our planned trip to Milford (via plane) got cancelled this morning we found ourselves re-arranging our plans for the next few days and decided to rush off to spend a bit of time in Wanaka. The weather on this side of the mountains was fantastic (despite the wind) and so we decided to find a nice half day hike and headed up the valley to see the glacier. Didn't quite realise how long the gravel road was going to be, and or what condition it would be in. But, thankfully we managed to get through all the fords in our little camper. We arrived so late that initially we thought we might just have to do the easier walk in the valley due to the recommended 4-5 return time on this hike. But once we started we decided to make the most of the opportunity and headed on up the hill to at least see the glacier from the lower viewpoint. The walk went much quicker than we expected despite the fact that we're not exactly in prime hiking fitness anymore and once at the lower viewpoint we, of course, decided to push on towards the upper viewpoint arriving 1h 15mins after we started from the parking lot Needless to say, it was all worth it.... Great hike, fantastic view!!!
Had a quick look for this one on the way up, but as we arrived at GZ we met several groups on their way down and as we were short on time we pushed on past it and instead, took the time to make the find on the way down...

Found today. Lovely walk. Very windy down in the car park but much more sheltered climbing the track through the trees. TFTC
Saved the Rob Roy caches in an offline list but didn't realise updating the app on my phone would wipe the list and I got a nasty surprise when I arrived at the car park! Fortunately cache description was thorough enough for me to make the find without the aid of a GPS. Awesome day for a tramp and what a spectacular place. Cheers and TFTC.
Visited this Nice Spot on our winter Holiday in Wanaka on 13 June 2016 at 13:20:00.
We hadn't been up here before, and having two little ones in tow meant we didn't really go much further than this today, but it was great to explore the track and get an idea of the area. We had loads of fun jumping in frozen ponds where the water had all drained away leaving a nice glassy layer of ice on top perfect for stomping on.
On the way up we also found a not-geocache jar hidden under a pile of rocks! I was surprised there weren't more caches along this track, so maybe next year when we come back we'd better load a few ammo cans into the backpacks and drop a couple along the way.
on the track to see the Rob Roy glacier, we stopped few minutes to log this cache.
Nice spot effectively
Really easy find, quite visible to the muggles...

Took us a bit longer than it should have as the coordinates were a bit off, but nevermind. It was such a beautiful sunny day today.
We are traveling around New Zealand. We are so glad that we can discover this beautiful country. We enjoy it so much. This cache was found during our travel.
Thank you. Greetings from Czech Republic

Together with schrek77 I traveled two months through New Zealand and Australia . First we traveled with a camper for 6 weeks the North and South Island of New Zealand . Then we went to Melbourne where we visited the city and the surrounding area . then we went to closing in the north of Australia . During this time we visited several geocaches and were brought to very nice places through this partially . We also had the opportunity to visit some very old caches , which extremely pleased us . We wish to thank Owner for nurture and cherish the caches .
along with fiona84 month on a 2 journey through new zealand and australia. on the journey we passed through the cache to beautiful places and were also some very old caches log. many thanks for cherish and maintain the caches.

Thanks for the cache. Visiting from California (Bay Area- San Francisco), just a glorious spot here!!
8 years ago I loved the walk up to the glacier. This year I loved the walk with the kids up to this lookout over a swinging bridge and a small track.
Thanks

Spending a couple of days in Wanaka as part of our road trip around the South Island. Thought we would do a walk today and the Rob Roy Glacier Track came up as a popular track to do so we drove out this morning to give it a go. Beautiful day to do it was a great walk with great views and managed to get the earthcache at the top as well. This one was found nice and easily but we had to sit on the seat and wait for 5 minutes for some other walkers to move on before we could rehide it. Thanks for the cache!
In New Zealand for 4 weeks. Travel the South Island with our campervan. Of course, we have seen many great places and met nice people.
This cache we have found.

Definitely not where the GPS took us to, fun searching with heaps of muggles around, look for the obvious just off the track. TFTC
Found during our holiday in New Zealand. Thanks for the cache. Greetings from the Czech Republic.
Found it after a walk to Aspiring Hut in heavy rain, overnighted and then off to Rob Roy Glacier on the way out. This is a pre-sistema container (Tupperware!) and as the other logs have said the coordinates are a little off, the clue in the description makes it obvious and easily seen by muggles (if they knew to look for it). Great spot and view of the Matukituki Valley making this truly a nice spot. Had brunch and enjoyed the walk up to the lower viewpoint. TFTC, TNLN.
Found on the way up to Rob Roy Glacier. GPS led me to all the wrong places. I eventually gave up, but found it on my walk back to the trail. Much closer to the trail than my GPS would let me believe.

Found it on our way to the Rob Roy glacier. It was fun / nervewrecking to cross the ford with a 2 wheel drive high top, but we have made it! It was a sunny day and not too much water, luckily. The coords were off, but the hint/description was very good.
A great spot for a stop on the way back from Rob Roy - too early on the way up!
Nice view on the glacier today. Went to the upper lookout but the way was slippery. Tftc
Awesome day for a walk to Rob Roy Glacier, love the spot where this cache is.
Took the TB and will move on its journey

Amazing view and a description so good I could do it without GPS! Dropped my Michelin travel bug and grabbed a new one.
We hiked to the upper Rob Roy Glacier lookout and enjoyed this great view! On the way back we found the cache!

Enjoying a fantastic 3-week summer road trip around the South Island with our kids: weather has been kind thus far & spectacular views everywhere we look. Arrived in Wanaka to spend 2 days with friends, celebrating Christmas, & thought this track would be a great way to walk off a very indulgent Christmas Day. Seems like a lot of other people had similar thoughts, as we met quite a few people on the track today. Easy to understand why it's so popular though. Great walk & great views today too, despite some cloud over the glacier, with the added bonus of a cache, yeah! Cache was a nice straightforward find & in good condition. Really enjoyed our walk up here; thanks heaps for the added incentive to come up here & Merry Christmas! TFTC.
After seeing Mt. Aspring we went back to the Carpark. But before we visited Rob Roy Glacier...of course we found the Cache.
After hiking up to the Rob Roy Glacier lookout we passed this spot once more and so we were able to search for this cache. After finding the box we spent some minutes on the meadow.
Lovely spot and breathtaking views at the top. I really liked the hiding spot for this cache ( I walked straight past it at first). TFTC
It was indeed a nice spot. Found on our way up to the Rob Rou glacier, definitely a walk worth doing.
Here already? Mrs D went chasing GZ far into the bush...Mr D gazed at the view for some time then casually pointed out the obvious spot close to the track.

On our way to Rob Roy Glacier. The coords were close to 20 m off on our device. No need to go to the woods from the track. tftc
We were looking forward to this trip to New Zealand.
After hours of flight from Belgium we finally arrived, picked up our Road Trip Special and started going.
First we organised a little event to meet the locals. It was a blast and we've met some nice people!
After that we did a whole tour around the South Island in 3 weeks, sleeping in the car or our tent.
It was great!
When we read about the fords we weren't too keen to do this walk as we only rented an older 2WD car.
The ranger at the nearby DOC centre convinced us that is was very doable when the weather was good so we went for it
After a fun 30km gravelroad to the carpark with about 9 fords it was already clear that we made a good choice. The views are just stunning.
On this cache spot we sat and enjoyed the views when going up and coming back down. Thanks for making us stop!

Went off for some hiking in the Matukituki valley, and on my way to Liverpool Hut did this little detour to see the magnificent Rob Roy Glacier. When I arrived at Aspiring Hut the DOC warden suggested not to go up to Liverpool Hut due to heavy rain the next day, so I hiked out again... Next time! Thanks for the cache from Germany
One of the best tramps on our vacation! We did find the cache with little problem, although I was caught by a muggle family crouched in the woods. I am sure they thought I was doing something I shouldn't be doing (yes but with an iPad and a pen?)

During our wonderful travel from Christchurch to Steward Island we stopped here for a break. Lovely spot for a cache, and good to find. Many thanks for showing us around.
Today we decided to walk this walking track and it was really nice.On the way back we cant forgot to take this cache. Many thanks.
We had a lovely evening walk via Rob Roy Glacier track. Weather was sunny and calm. The early moon rose above the glacier, beautiful! The cache was an easy find, quite an obvious camo We decided to release our precious new travel bug Kimi the Kiwi. Hope he has a long and safe journey ahead! TFTC & greetings from Finland!
This family from hot, flat Perth was very impressed with this walk. Recommend getting an early start as it was very popular today.
I should have read the description better as I ended up way off the path looking, when I heard mrs. NM shout "found it" from down on the path!
A great hike up this spot, one of our favorites in New Zealand! Thanks for the cache along the way!

An easy find on our way to the glacier. A nice track, spectacular views - all together a perfect day. Tftc!
I think that this is the second cache that I have found in this area over the years. I was out this way with a friend visiting New Zealand. I wanted to show her the Rob Roy Glacier and the walk gave me the chance to check on my earthcache which is up the track. Some of the signs have gone missing and so I needed to update coordinates and hints.
Arrived at GZ and my GPS was not helpful. I looked a few places before the ah ha moment. Glad I found this on the way up as the nearby bench was very popular on the way down and I never would have had the chance to grab the cache discretely.
Cheers N!mrod for the cache!
