Id previously visited here but on a day where the tower had many visitors. Today we were the only ones here so we were able to meander around and take our time.On the way to the GZ there was plenty of wildlife including a some Roos and a little fox that hadnt noticed us.At the GZ I looked around for a while before checking the hint - that gave me a chuckle . I then made the find, added my name to the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache

We are slowly making our way to St Arnaud via a number of smaller towns and stopping at Maldon for lunch. We enjoyed eating lunch at the Gold Exchange Caf Restaurant so much last time, we thought we would stop there again. It didn't disappoint. Google Maps might say it takes less than an hour between these towns, but somehow, it keeps taking us 2 hours. However, we are now getting closer to our target of 20 geocaches in all Victorian LGAs, hitting more in Mt Alexander, Central Goldfields, Loddon, and our new LGA of Northern Grampians. After lunch, the old geocache and the Eart Cache at Mt Tarrengower were the first targets. Looks like it is a popular spot with lots of cars at the top.Huntress called the final, but didn't look hard enough, while I looked elsewhere, following the bouncing GPS signal for way too long, before we both found the geocache where she first said it would be.Thanks for the cache, Pyrenees Kid.Hunter

I think we chose the most "interesting" route to GZ but all was good in the end. It was a cold morning and a surprise to see so many muggles exercising in the area. A short walk through the bush to GZ and a quick find. Thanks to Pyrenees Kid for the cache.

Here for part of a bike rally. Whilst Rick does the bike runs, geodog and I go out for cache finds. Despite a somewhat surprising approach by the CO about looking at their hint, I'm not disappointed that I did, as the GZ was showing 12 m away and I'd walked past the area 4 times to search elsewhere. 12m in the bush means a lot of possible hide areas.

I'm staying in Bendigo for a couple of days, so I thought I would travel out this way and explore the area.It is such a great little town, and I enjoyed a nice lunch at the local cafe before heading up to the lookout. A nice wander to gz where the cache was found quickly.Log signed and returned as found.

Cache found after a short walk in the bush.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. We just rode our bikes along the rail trail from Castlemaine to Maldon finding a few caches on the way. We wanted to finish off the Adventure lab here. We were quite tiered but I made the climb the view was spectacular. My muggle fisher hubby is afraid of heights so he stayed down the bottom. We thought we would find this while we were here TFTC

Found while on a road trip with muggle mother to a friends wedding in Donald. Detouring through Maldon to complete the TDOC23: Signals Cachemas Adventure. After wandering around this beautiful town including a compulsory explore of the Christmas shop and lunch at the bakery we made our way up Mt Tarrengower for the trifecta of this traditional, a nearby earthcache and adventure lab location. Not a fan of heights took in the views from ground level

Thanks Wanderers

We have headed to Bendigo to hunt down caches that have more than 10 favourite points and also pick up this cache for our Australian Jasmer (double bonus) plus the blue switch day souvenir. The weather gods have been good to us today and got all their wet mischief out of their system early this morning while we were traveling.

A very quick trip up Mt Tarrengower tonight after collecting our dog from local kennels. We'd left him there when we went to the Rutherglen Mega. I was sleeping in a swag - I really didn't want to be trodden on by a very boisterous young labradog!!! I was looking for a fitting cache to drop a tb that I'd retrieved from Chiltern yesterday & this old cache ticked all of my boxes. Many thanks

Found on our way home from Bendigo attending a display held by the Bendigo Lego Users Group, to raise funds for the victims of the recent flooding in the area. I've wanted to find this one for a while as its such an old cache now, but its normally late in the day when we are in this area and always run out of time. But today we headed home from Bendigo early, ironically to get home before the predicted afternoon thunderstorms and rain!
Thx Wanderers for the hide , quite busy up here today, obviously people enjoying the brief sunny weather today.

###**CACHE OWNER PLEASE NOTE**###

----------

This cache would seem to have had some welcomed action on behalf of the CO by a Good Samaritan - 'BrianandGreg', so it fortunately lives for another day.

Please remember that cache maintenance arrangements need to be proactive, not reactive. This means regular visits (by the CO) to check on the cache and not relying on or expect passing seekers to fix issues or replace missing caches.

Even though a Good Samaritan has addressed the issue, there is still a need to remove the "Needs Maintenance" attribute - see here: [**Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon.**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and then Enable the cache - see this link: [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) .

**I have removed the NM attribute and Enabled the cache for you on this occasion.**

Brian and I had planned a 4WD caching morning in Maldon and upon seeing this historic Tower of Gower cache from 17/02/2002 at risk we decided to take the opportunity of putting a new one together plus a new log to keep it in the game. We have removed the old damaged and broken cache and the saturated log and contents. Greg

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there Pyrenees Kid,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.

- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil
