Looked for a long time but the area is very disturbed. Owner needs to check in on it really to confirm it location
Could not find, due to construction in area (which is now finished) possibly moving the cache. Could original placer check and confirm.
I confirm that the track is blocked. I think I was near GZ but was unable to explore further because of muggle activity. The land between the river and the new bridge is being developed for a housing estate.
Walked the walk along past the platypus and came to a road black. Fence across the track signalling construction site meant I could not make the last 200m! Is there another way in?
Not able to get there through 'conventional' means, there's a way in through the contruction entrance but alarms started going off so I shot out of there and went back in over the creekbed about 200m downstream. Was unable to locate, but everything around there is really trashed and overgrown so I only spent a minute or two looking.
This needs to to be disabled while works are going on, as caters can't access the cache as it is a "No GO" zone.
Confirmed, you cannot get to it "legally" as it is a no go zone for a bit of time due to maintenance/construction in the area.

A tricky find as we came across the temporary bridge and then across the mud. Not sure we should have been at this location but there was no danger as it was the weekend and so much mud I doubt any equipment would have been running anyway. If the cache is genuinely unavailable maybe it should be marked as such, but I think you can get to this one without too much trouble right now, but the future may be a little different.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache here today. Without someone to hide there will never be any more to find.

Went out looking for possible hides for the upcoming Marshian Invasion and tried to turn this little green box into a smiley but huge big fences and "NO GO" signs prevented us of achieving this goal.
Couldn't get to it - think it's in the "no go zone" - will be back after the tracks are reopened and bridge built
Geohubby went to hunt this sucker down but came back to the car grrrr ok let's go. Read a few logs had an idea then we had it in our hot little hands tftc probably need to up the terrain
TFTC good tree

Continued our Peppertree Walk to this location with our dog Shadow. Used the clue and then quickly made the find at 2:05pm. I would probably up the terrain rating to 2 given the vertical challenge.

I came here on my return from Lerderberg to pick up some unloved days.
A little while since this was last logged.
A number of people on the trail here today.
Dog central up and down the trek.
The cache was a quick find still nice and dry.

A lovely place to stop and listen to the birds. We thought of attempting it from the park on the other side of the river, but decided to keep our fet dry and go for a walk. SL TFTC
Found today whilst in Bacchus Marsh area. Had a lovely stroll along the river and quite a bit of exercise for us. A lot of work happening on the other side with new paths etc. we had a bit of trouble retrieving this one but eventually got it.

Just as well I like climbing! A fun find in a lovely setting. Signed with no swaps. Tftc.
Another great hide here along this great river setting. Luckily the weather was on our side today. All I can say about this hide is that I am glad I stand at 6ft 5 inches. My height came in very handy. [^][^] TFTC port63.

Angus the great GeoWestie here. These two caches prove that it is not all about the finding. My mate Bella, me and my Carer, grey nomad Lis Brown were camped in the reasonably close industrial area waiting for parts, so we walked all the way over. What a find. A wonderful walk along the creek and Bella and I were allowed off lead. Turns out of course that we were on the wrong side of the creek but this problem extended our walk even further until we could cross over. We then walked back along the other side. I bet there are a lot of platypus in this creek. Looks perfect for them. I found both GZs but was too excited about sniffing around to help, so I made Lis do the looking. Well, despite her searching at both ground level and one level up she could not find the first one and would you believe she gave up on the second one as the ground was sloping and rocky and she did not have her boots on! Only shoes. Can't blame her though after the recent broken ankle. Thank you so much for these caches. We would never have found his great walk otherwise.
Just as well we had a nimble person with us today. It was where I thought it should be given where the GPS led us. A good hide. Took car, left key ring. TFTC
Enjoyed the walk to GZ. Sent Geowife to get this one and she grabbed it without breaking into a sweat. TFTC port63
Are we there yet???
Finally got to do the long walk for the 3 caches down here.
Found with Misschief18, JTTRosie and TilleyTB.
Glad we brought Trent along. He and Tamara were only too glad to do some climbing. Found with the aid of an extra thick branch to help Trent grow!

The third cache on my walk along the river. Foung the cache by feel thanks to the hint.
Did this one while doing the other two in the park. Bit of a stretch to get the cache.
Another one found while riding along the track. seem to have come to the end of the riding track, so will head back and cross over to the Werribee river path. Cache in good condition. TFTC
we were scratching our heads thinking we had already found this, but no smiley?? so we went on the hunt thinking maybe we had just talked about it...closer to gz we spotted were we thought it had been and recalling we had to log on a spare piece of paper as there was no log, well our gps told us to keep walking, so off we went, at gz, we sat down and had our lunch in the shade and logged, tftc!
This was the last of the Peppertree caches on this walking track for me today. A beaut spot, and when the gentle breeze picked up, it was even better. Shame the seat slats are missing, I could have sat here for ages taking this spot in. Thanks to port63
TFTC found it. Vertically challenged but got to it. Took dolphin left some new golf balls. Creek was pretty slimy at the crossing but made it through ok.
After initially being lead astray by my GPS and heading up the wrong side of the river, I ended up saving some time and energy by finding a way across and approaching the caches backward! The shorter route was appreciated by me and my dog, who on his first outing geocaching was finding the terrain a little difficult. Fairly quick find once at the spot and BJ took the opportunity to lie down! Left a "Kiwi Made" badge and a travel bug. Picked up a plastic lizard. All good with the cache
Nice evening for a walk, while the kids played at the pool. So thats what we did. Loved the hide. Who would of thoughts such a large space existed. Nice find. Thanks.
Attempted this morning. Read all the previous logs and the clue. Circled around for ages. I am obviously not tall enough. I will try to get another clue from you.
Found it....yay.
Second time round.
Glad it's one of Port63's caches for my 40th find, seeing they were the people who got me into Geocaching.
Managed to find it with an injured knee and a heel spur.
Found at 3.40pm.
Took nothing. Left dolphin keyring.
Thanks for the cache.

With Rebel Acts now part of the TDC, The Demolition Crew quorum set out for another huge night of caching. With the list all ready to go we started off in Melbourne suburbia before heading west to hit Melton, Bacchus Marsh and the Werribee Gorge before ending the run back in Melbourne city. The weather was quite mild and good for caching although we did get a few drops of rain while in the Gorge which was just enough to get our pants and shoes nice and wet. The Gorge was quite a challenge with us battling chest high grasses, steep slippery slopes, a few falls and a couple of injuries along the way but it all made for a great fun filled night.
We had done a fair bit of walking so far today and as it turned we had plenty more walking ahead. This was a nice walk to GZ and we found the cache and signed the log. Thanks for the hide.

This was, cache # 18 of 85 finds for the night on what can only be described as a massive all night of caching for the New TDC. This was a nice walk despite the rain. My thanks to port63 for the cache.
Another simply awesome night caching run with the new and improved Demolition Crew. With Eric (Rebel Acts) on board officially now, the 4 man team set out for a huge night, with around 90 different caches found over a long night of caching. Personally the tally was 73 new caches visited, no DNF's for me either, some I had been to before, which TR and Rebel needed.
Started in the Melbourne suburban area picking up some new and unfound caches, before heading west via Melton, Bacchus Marsh and onto the Gamble in the Gorge series, which was completed in darkness. That was an adventure in itself, with a few minor injuries, but plenty of torch light poured on the situation helped. We were also rained on, did I mention that.... The run finished with Eynesbury series and finally with a dash to Richmond to collect the recently solved Perplexed.
A sensational night in all with great company, great conversations and plenty of laughs. My thanks to all the CO's for the caches placed, without their efforts, we would not have had anything to find.
Nice walk on a fairly hard to find track, I loved it. I had at some stage in the past, found the nearby Peppertree Platypus cache, but not this one. TFTC.

After voting to include Rebel Acts into The Demolition Crew, it was always going to be a massive night of caching as the new and improved TDC. We picked out a really sweet spot just west of Melbourne for all of us and just went mad caching all night. At the end of the of it over 90 caches were visited. My personal tally for the night was 88 finds with no DNF's.
The well oiled machine of TDC started in Notting Hill and moved in a northern western arc picking up the odd cache until we reached Melton. There it was a matter of cleaning out some of the recently published caches there before moving through Bacchus Marsh to the series Noah's Lark a Gambol in the Gorge. A great night out with plenty of laughs, soaking rain, wind, chest high grass, and the occasional fall.
A big thank you to all the cache CO's who have put in the effort to place the caches we found tonight. A nice long walk in the rain to grab these two. Thanks

Suscoe was up early today for a run to Bacchus Marsh and back to deal with a number of caches that needed a smilie .
This cache was number 12 of 21 that we searched for and found.
suscoe checked out the possibilities of a shorter route to GZ but too much water flowing today.
So backtracked and parked the car and had lunch before heading along the track.
A lovely walk today with some sunshine and a warmer feel to the air.
Arrived at GZ and took a few moments to work out which way to look.
Cache found reasonably quickly and without any damage.
Signed and returned while the river bubbled by.
Thanks to port63 for this delightful walk.
Just one question, why is there a substantial arbor about half way along the track with nothing growing on it?

28/07/12 4:30 PM Find #1164 Todays mission with my friend Square Pegs has us heading westbound with an itinerary of caches locked in and waiting to be found. The weather ahead is looking good, we're well prepared and the car is running really nice. We had a successful day with plenty of finds, lots of mud, a few friendly dogs, antartic temperatures and we discovered some new favourites.
I was just about to make the find when a walker we didn't know was behind us appeared, a quick hello, wait a bit and then score the cache. We met a few more doggies on the return walk to the car. Thanks Port63.

This was a really lovely track to walk along, and in the afternoon sunshine it was very pleasant. We had to wait for a muggle to pass by before we could discover the cache. After circling once or twice we spied a possible spot and voila there it was. Thanks port63 for the cache.
After resorting to clue a fairly easy find, had to tie the dogs up so they wouldn't get away as needed the hands free!!

Found by Mary & David at 1320. We've done this walk a couple of times before, but this time we went a bit further than before. A pleasant walk despite the cool cloudy day. Arrived at GZ to find people already there, so kept walking. Returned a few minuted later and GZ was all clear. A quick find and discovered that they were cachers too. Caught up with "Adventure with Twins" back along the track. Our thanks to port63.
Great view. I remember a cache that used to be about 250 metres back along the track. I was wondering if it was in the same spot. But alas no! Tftc!
Left the Peppertree Platypus signed cache and continued walking to this good cache well hidden. Geohubby was just able to reach it but have to report that the sheep and lambs in the paddock nearby were watching us!! Took photo of 1 white lamb and 2 black ones(twins?) - will upload them in the not too distant future, we hope! You certainly have come along way over the last 5 months port63 as your creativity is improving greatly with time. TFTF port63 - your 1st cache certainly was much better than ours! We removed some of the usual trash - depends if we remember to take a plastic bag or not. There always seems to be trash around, unfortunately!
Found today after doing a maintenance check on Peppertree Platypus.
It really is a nice walk along here, my dog loved it too.
Thnks again port63

A quick trip back to clean up and make a full board of Smilies in Bacchus Marsh. This cache had to be put on hold 10 days ago due to fading light. Today we enjoyed a bike ride by the river, the only challenge being the rockfall part way along the path.

Little vicfire is into the learning to drive thing and trying to log up 120 hours so today the ageing Bushfire was asked if he would like to accompany them up to Bacchus Marsh for an afternoons caching.
I could not say no to an option like that so off we went and this was the next cache on the list.
We chose the right side of the river to wander down to this guy but as we passed the other cache our GPS's suggested that it was on the other side of the river so after finding this cache we then crossed the ford.
Thanks port63 for placing this cache which should not get muggled as I like the spot where you placed it. Well done.

Found today on a day out caching with Biggles Bear. We have been to this walk on at least 2 previous occasions, but not this far along. We found the nearby ford, which made our walk quite short (and on a warmish day, that was a good thing). Didn't find the cache at first, and given it was a terrain 1.5, didn't consider where the cache was finally found. It was only after reading the clue that we found it.
My thanks to port63 for the cache.

This was the third time that I have walked along this stretch of the river to find a cache.
Last time the water level was high today it was low and I found a new crossing place along the way.
Once at GZ I knew what had to be done
Thanks for the hide.

Caches pop up from time to time along this river. I knew a good way in but found an even better one this time, and had an enjoyable stroll to gz. Once there I struggled to find the hide for a minute or two until waking up to what to do. A good spot and hide, thanks port63.
Urgh! I was in the area a couple of days earlier than this cache was published!
Found today at 1630 on a caching trip on my ownsome.
After the event this afternoon I learned from a fellow attendee of a closer ford to cross which I took advantage of!
I don't usually like sticking my hands in places I can't see, but the feel of plastic was welcoming.

On the fork but duck's disease stopped me getting cache. Thanks port63 for the walk.
took the dog for a walk & got him.(the cache,as well as the dog) Nice spot to hide it.(the cache, not the dog) TFTC port63.
New cache, close to home, why not? Took the grandkids and Alan for a walk along the peppertree walk. The youngest got tired so Alan had to carry him.
Cooper followed the GPS to GZ where we searched and located the cache. Signed the log and dropped off some travel bugs that the kids own.
WE then headed home to pack a picnic lunch for a trip to the Lerderderg river and some stone throwing and bridge building.
Great first cache and certainly in a safe spot.
