This one was looking really good and I was certainly expecting a quick in and out here.... but nada?! Spent a little while circling the area and getting a little serious with the weed mat but in the end it was time to move on. It might pay to check on this one the next time your passing by Cheers G-2.
TF did his usual expert parking and with both of us checking out the likely spots the cache was in hand fairly quickly. Thanks
Glad to walk along to GZ. Watched a fellow netting white bait (admittedly in small numbers) and appreciated the sign up close. NINO TFTC
Tftc!
Took a carabiner and left a non used, still valid ticket for the sight seeing tram in Christchurch;)

Our first geocache adventure together and we had so much fun. Will have to upgrade now as we had lots of connection issues while we tried to find the one out by the cemetery. We met a lovely lady who has found many of glen's little treasures and gave us some helpful hints. We are hooked...
Last day in Whanga for now and wanted to grab a couple more before heading out. Started with this one, and with a pretty clear hint and no cyclists around it didn't take too long to have the cache in hand. Quickly replaced and wandered off down the road again. TFTC
Cacher's son found this one quickly, he's getting used to the tricks of the trade!
#11446. In our case, farewell from Whanga (well almost; we stopped for one more cache in the way home). TFTC.
Glad I brought my bike today. Perfect for picking up a few caches along here. Quick find. T4T$
Today we are leaving Whitianga and are heading to Waihi. As it's not a long journey, we had a few stop offs en route, including a bike ride around Whangamata. With the long weekend over, the traffic volume was less than what we had been experiencing, thank goodness!
We wished we were still on the bikes as we now realise that the caches along here are on the path. We'll just have to come back some time! TFTC.

Funnily enough this was our last cache upon leaving Whangamata, nice find before setting off back to Auckland, tftc
A quick grab here before we headed out into the town to pick up the remainder of caches we missed yesterday. Ironically enough, we were leaving Whanga as we found this cache. A lot of fun was had this weekend seeing how this area has changed over the years. Thanks for the hide!
Parked and walked back and found with mike-miss. Rosmar had already found this one in the past. TFTC!!!
We carried on and found a couple more before grabbing some lunch. Found quickly with FMZ, TFTC!
great little cache nice quick find ...its sad that people don't replace the ground coverings when they have finished ...it was very easy to see what had been pulled up and left ...great cache any way and thanks :):)
Found this cache on our 4 week trip through New Zealand, on the way from Omokoroa to Hot Water Beach. Greetings from Germany.

7080. Out for the day geocaching with Nodo, from Waihi to Whangamata and back. Found 29 caches in total. This was cache number 3 and a very easy one once we let the GPS settle. Guarded by an enormous tiger slug! Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
Last cache in Whangamata as we are leaving. Had a great weekend with geomates, TFTC and happy to have found several caches of Glyn.

Thank you its been fun to be here, last one as we head out. Our last day of a long weekend caching, we teamed up and called ourselves CNSZ to save log space.
On a geocaching weekend with my favourite geo buddies, we hope to get loads of caches this weekend. We've decided to sign the log sheet as - day trippers CNSZ in order to save space on the log sheets. Thanks to the cachers who hid these caches for us to find and make our weekend such fun.
On the way back from a night at whangamata with friends. Been geocaching all day and buying swag and TB's.Thankyou the nice easy find. Nicely hidden and good clues. Although not a great place for parking, had to park in the driveway and walk across busy road. We rehid the cache well out of sight. An obvious location. TFTC!!!!
Tftc. Love caching with kids! Such a great cover when muggles come along....in this case the tractor driver cruising past...waving hello. No worries....we just stopped here so junior could have fun climbing on the rocks. All good. No suspicious activity going on here! Lol.
Another find for junior. A quick stop on our way into whanga for our caching day with thescoobydoos. Tftc
Seventh find today. Nice and easy as per hint. Left a dino and took a golf ball from the bushes lol. TFTC.
In whangamata for beach hop! Found cache, not too many people were coming in at the time so didn't have to be stealth. Nice spot!
With the lure of a CITO event on in Whangamata I thought I'd make it a day's caching mission and grab a few others throughout the day. At another event in Hamilton earlier in the week, I mentioned to IamMrWalker my plan and invited him along. With the leave passes sorted all was set.
Not to much traffic around so parked pretty much right next to GZ. A bit of a scratch around before needing to avoid some muggles on bikes, and then getting back to the search and finding the cache. Thanks for the hide.

On our way from Hahei to Rotorua this cache was right on the wayside. So with a short stop I could find this one. Drop a TB.

Found parking nearby and with the help of the clue went straight to the cache hide. Busy stop, lots of cars rushing to Whangamata, must be a party in town tonight. Thanks for the hide.
