Hi gregandjudi, I found Strathallan School today.
Many thanks gregandjudi for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.
What a beautiful large school ground in such a lovely area. Thanks for the interesting history of the school. I replaced the old filled log. Thanks for the cache
Very cool spot and beautiful seeing the local history. Will need a new log soon as there's only one spot left and we didn't have paper small enough to replace it.
A nice easy find but this cache came with a large grumpy redback which was fun. Log only has three more spaces on it too.
Taking the scenic back way into Echuca. Easy find but had to dodge the spider egg sacks. Thanks.
Tftc gregandjudi, certainly getting windy now, very out of the way spot.
Cache in great condition

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.

1st day out with catnap777 after Victoria's 5th lockdown, and being free to find this old school series cache felt like we had just been let out of detention to start school holidays.
TFTC gregandjudi.
The cache was found clean and dry with a log that still has plenty of room for more signatures.

It wasn't far off the track as I was heading to Mildura. It's interesting to read the history of these old schools. I found the cache in good condition.

had a weekend away to catch up with Ghihash so we started with Bendigo hitting the alphabet series for what my car would slow us to get into (after recent heavy rains) and the following day rectified a DNF in Rochester (with some assistance from locus cache) on our way to Echuca to hit the TTT series and get our first interstate caches
Interesting information

Rex and I headed out for a day's caching with the intention of finding a cache in Leitchville that I had previously DNFd at least twice and we had a pretty good day with just the two of us making 15 finds and only 2 DNFs at the last 2 cache hunts for the day.
Although the trip did involve a policeman and it was ONLY 8.30pm when he stopped to take my details in Cohuna as I searched for a cache near the CFA He didn't even mention the spider web of duct tape that covered the cardboard over Harry's still shattered rear canopy window!
As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby
I love the bush sights in Victoria [^] and the history and stories of the determination of the pioneers. [^]

We're heading south again with our caravan after visiting friends in Queensland. A good stop with easy parking for a long vehicle. Thanks

- This cache appears to be in need of owner attention. The size of the cache we found does not reflect "Small" as indicated on the cache page - needs correction please.
- We were able to leave a very temporary log, future seekers would appreciate a fresh log please.

Mrs. Suscoe headed out today with the good folks of the Phetlern team for a day's caching south of Echuca. Mr. S decided to have a day back at our accommodation to take things quietly.
It was a beaut Spring day with loads of sunshine, a gentle wind and some clouds from time to time.
It was a really good day with great company and lots of fun on the way around this area.
Beaut countryside with green paddocks and happy looking cows and sheep.
Thanks to gregandjudi for showing us another interesting spot.

Found at 2.15pm, a short side trip on our way home.
There was a working bee on at the nearby hall, but it didn't stop our find. We gave a friendly wave to one of the men.
Good to see this piece of history hasn't been lost.
Thanks

Nice little find. Log is wet & also full. We didn't have any spare to replace. TFTC
Found by Team Ladava in transit home from Echuca to Sunbury after a short break.
A nice little piece of history
I wonder how many hundreds of school sites are scattered throughout the country as farming becomes more broad-acre and families move to town.
Locations like this are 'the icing on the cake' of Geocaching with the locals hosting us anonymously to their favourite spots.

Our thanks to gregandjudi for the cache and bringing us to this location.

Drove down another dusty road to a quick find. Wasn't impressed here with the muggle who came roaring past coating us in even more dust. Inconsiderate moron!
Probably been said before but the log is full. Managed to squeeze my name in sidweways. Thanks.

Sad to see these areas slowly going back to just a paddock, I don't think our Government's realize that our country needs all these little areas alive or all we will have is big ugly capital cities and no food or industry left, it will all have to be imported. TFTC
Found at 3:18 PM GAFF1.
That wasn't the best decision to travel along the Rochester Rd after a heavy downpour [B)] The van got nicely covered in mud and the back of the new vehicle took on a new shade of brown.
Thanks gregandjudi.
