A bit of a disaster this afternoon... Mum, Dad and 2YO were looking to kill a little time in Hamilton; so Mum got Dad to pull over at an area they thought would be rich in caches... Unfortunately the closest traditional was about 700m (as the crow flies) away; we walked to Greenslade House - what a magnificent home!
We looked and looked with no luck - we see there has been some clearing done in the general area; so were unsure whether cache was there? A long walk back to the car

A beautiful old home with the flag flying high. Some construction work going on in the section. Found the cache quickly...its disguise didn't fool me. As all previous logs stated, the contents were saturated. We were carrying heaps of swag with us in the car, so popped back and found a new log and a small container to put it in. This fitted nicely inside the existing cache. Still needs maintenance to tidy it up, but it's good to go for the next visitors. Bring your own pen as the current ones are useless. TFTC

On a mission to pick up some puzzle solves today. Also taking on traditionals along the way.
What a grand, old house... Have been here before in the dark. Overshot ground zone, but quickly found the cache when returning. It was quite visible, and the contents are wet and ruined. Managed to vaguely scratch my 'handle' into the log. TFTC.

This cache is wet, the contents are sodden, and will need immediate replacement.
First cache !! w00t !! And my ever growing gaming circle grows exponentially !! Ummmm.. Also, this case had/has a leak. Maybe a new case is needed?
Got off the track to find this one. Lovely old house. Log book very wet and coming to pieces 
Nice building...but the hiding spot was a little disgusting with all the garden rubbish after the rain.

Easy find with Peteznshellz, thanks to Argies as well. Cache is wet but couldn't dry it because of the late hour. Took travel bug from Germany to go and look at South Africa.
Found the Nissan Skyline Travel Bug and will take it to South Africa on Monday so it's off to a new world for me, see ya in Johannesburg!
Found this cache yesterday, the log was abit damp and there was water inside the container. May need a new container as water seems to be getting in even though it was clicked in place all around it. But a good find, got lead astray abit but found it in the end.

TFTC!Such a beautiful home - I remember going through it on an open day in the mid-80s. This was when the restoration was starting I think. It looks stunning now and is such a landmark for Hamilton. Dropped off TB 'Multi-View Ozzie' as there's a nice view of the river from the house. TFTC!

Had us going there for a wee while but got there in the end. Nicely protected from muggle eyes. T4TC
Interesting looking house with it's history readable on a sign. It cost just under $4000 to build, I think it might be worth a bit more now!

Took us a surprisingly long time to find, it was lucky we hadn't tripped over it in our search. We dried the box and contents, the cute log book is dry, but unfortunately the pages are loose. Good grapefruit here for foragers. TFTC.
Nice easy find, cache was larger than I was expecting. It was a little damp inside, but the log was fine-the camo appears to be restricting how well the container locks shut. TFTC
A geotrail jumped out on our arrival and the cache was ours

Quick easy find on a beautiful sunny Hamilton morning. Not very wheelchair friendly as very boggy. TFTC. Have left Percy the penguin TB.

Almost gave up but stumbled upon it. Lovely house indeed, but high maintenance. Thanks for the cache here.
9063 Grabbed this one just as the fireworks for the Balloons Over Waikato commenced. This container is certainly a lot bigger than its predecessor. TFTC.

We had previously found the original Greenslade House cache after quite a long search. Made a late-night return visit for this new one. One of us diappeared into the bushes while the other 'read the sign'. Quick find this time, thanks.

Took my lunch to have under a tree and then followed the geotrail and made the easy find. Thanks very much Jasp3r
Enjoyed a picnic dinner in steel park after meeting Mr Geocooley when he finished work this evening so had to find this one as it was so near.
Kids and I explored the sign and looked at the 'castle' while Mr Geocooley quickly retrieved the cache.

Found it!!! Took a bit of searching, went right on past it a few times, but we got there!!

A quick find, lovely big cache. Think I spotted someone else trying to find it just before I got there.
took the kids a bit of searching but found it in the end, dropped TB, picked up GC
A quick search in the vicinity of the hint, then I broadened the area and soon had the cache in my hand. TFTC (Unlike some before me I enjoyed the micro that was here.)But anything that brings people to see this lovely old house is good with me.
Had about 10 attempts at the old nano cache that was here, but didn't have any luck. This new one took considerable less time. Thanks for the new cache. Took GC.
Found some distance from where the hint indicated. Wandering jew is showing typical cache seekers damage and grass clippings are being dumped nearby.

This is only the 2nd time we've tried to do FTF, we were only 5 minutes away doing some shopping in town when the notification came through, so thought we'd give it a go, but looks like there are more eager cachers than us round here had to wait for muggles to move on before claiming it, but easy find once coast was clear. TNLN SL. Thanks!
