So sorry to cause so much disappointment and frustration. I'll archive this to prevent that happening again.
Looked in all manner of crevasses, but couldn't find a cache in either.
When I'm getting back home, I'm going to make a "Useless Hint" series of caches. The second and third sentence of this cache's hint are getting a cache each. =^,~'=
The travelling fox is disappointed =u_u=
P.S.:
Wow, my first DNF in almost a month, and after 21 finds and 4 passes (one of which I managed to turn into a find later). Kinda sad. =u,u=

WE are keen geocachers on holiday from Tauranga and grabbing a few smileys as we go. Great place for a cache and even better a nice new log. TFTC

Ah shame this one not found. It was caching that brought me to this amazing place.
Equipped with a charged battery today we quickly had the the cache in hand. Very cool landscape. Thanks very much
Thanks for placing the cache. Took a while to find with GPS going all over the place. Cool place to visit.
Ninalila and I took a few days off to visit around takaka and warariki beach.
The walk was really nice and short, but we took a long time so we could take some good pictures.
We logged with our team name : lekiprokos
Thank you for the cache and the discovery.

fefe.adrien and I spent two days between Golden Bay and Cape Farewell. It was the opportunity to visit the famous Grove close to Takaka, amazing sedimentary rocks eroded and curious shapes of plants which are trying to reach the light. A fascinating place to see, not touristic.

I felt like back in the days when I would venture underground in a landscape formed the same way as GZ. It was a moonless night after all. Last time here was when my kids were still kids. The GPS performed unexpectedly well and the torch picked the cache up when the reading zeroed out. This brought back some memories, a fav. Thank youSidewaze
By the time we got to this area it was pitch dark but since geocachers often don't behave in a 'normal' way we had no hesitation grabbing a couple of torches and wandering along to find this cache. Mission accomplished we decided to go further, just because we could. Eventually we came to the lookout, what a stunning sight the night sky is when there is no other light to interfere and distract from it. On our way back out the first thing I saw in my torchlight was a blinded rat sitting on the bottom step. It wasn't willing/able to move so alternative tactics were employed to clear the way. Soon enough we were back at the car with only one barked shin and a satisfactory smiley.
Thank you Sidewaze.
Thank you Sidewaze.
Just home after our Golden Bay camping trip from the Marlborough Sounds. It was not a caching expedition but we did manage one or two . We were travelling with our camping group who, although not cachers, joined in the fun. Our travels brought us to your cache – many thanks, Sidewaze, for bringing us to this spot. We’ve had great fun all the way.
Found this on the way out after Deep Throat. A lovely wee hide in a primeval wonderland. Thanks Sidewaze!
An amazing, lovely spot.

Found while Team Walker NZ were on a Summer tour across Tasman to Golden Bay - enjoy sun, sea and sights. Happy New Year and all the best for 2016.
After surviving the storm of the previous night in the tent (18ltrs of water IN the tent!) we headed for the very soggy Grove. What a beautiful place! Said dampness meant lots of mud, slipping and wet clothing. Great fun! TFTC.

Enjoyed the walk to this cache. It was pretty well hidden. Another great place thanks to a cache. So thank you for placing it here!
Took a little bit of searching to find this on both sides of th path. No sign if TB unfortunately. Tftc
In the area for a few days, enjoying the wonderful scenery and finding some caches along the way.
Continued the loop from the nearby cache to this one, thoroughly enjoying the fascinating rock formations.
Many thanks for the cache Sidewaze.

Find #2422. Exploring Tasman district for a few days, this my first day in Takaka. Had visited The Grove about 10 years ago and was looking forward to exploring it again. Cache found easily once the gps settled. SL TFTC
We found this after loooooong time of fruitless hunting. Spotted just as we were about to give up and move on. Nice to find together with deep throat itself. TFTC.

NZDi and I have been planning a long weekend in Golden Bay for a month or so and today these plans came into fruition. Of course a long weekend out of town would not be complete without the odd cache thrown in and so a few caches were planned along the way. The weather back in Blenheim had been crap all week and the forecast for the weekend was not that flash either, however as soon as we got across the Whangamoa's we could see this part of the country was bathed in sunshine.
This is day three of our Golden Bay caching weekend and the plan was to visit The Grove, Rawhiti Cave, The Labyrinths and the Milnthorpe Park with a few random cache to link them all together.
I was first shown this little piece of paradise in my pre-GC days about two and a half years ago and consider it one of Golden Bay's treasures. Thanks to geocaching, I get to renew my acquaintance with the Grove. After a couple of minutes searching NZDi came up with this one.

Found today with Sprocket Cole. What a fab forest with giant crevasses, palms and rata roots. TFTC
#1252 Been here before and will come here again - amazing rock formation - I couldn't find the next one but I think I just need more time - the geokids were getting impatient. TFTC
just starting to rain as we started to look for this one but the trees kept us dry long enough to find and sign log

Beautiful lookout with nice views towards the ocean. Stayed here for a picnic as well. TFTC.
I really enjoy spending time in New Zealand, I just love it here. Its nature, people and adventures I am passing through. Awesome place, thank you very much for introducing to myself and for the cache itself Sorry for late logging, I have some problems with internet access during travelling.
Found it during my trip from south of South Island to north of South Island.
Thanks for this cache!:)

today we started a nice trip to the Abel Tasman Nat.Park. First we walked the Grove Trak, then we had a short stop at the Abel Tasman Monument, after that we had a walk to the Wainui Waterfalls. Further we drove to Totaramui. On our way back home we stoped in Pokara for a nice bath in the ocean. On this daytrip we found a lot of caches. Thats to all owners from Germany.
We stayed for 3 days in Takaka together with Athosandros. Today we made a trip to Abel Tasman Nationalpark. Here we made a stop for a short walk on the Grove Loop. On our way back from the lookout point we found this cache.
Sorry for the late logging but the internet connection in our motels was very unstable and bad.

Such a cool spot. There's a great bouldering rock near the picnic table. Thanks!
Found after a fantastic kayaking trip from Tata Beach to Wainui Bay. What an amazing place, an absolute treasure! So glad I came here. Mrs TallGuy789 spotted this one - she is starting to get good at geocaching malarkey. TFTC.
Lovely place and nice cache, found with MarciCz and Katuška, thank you very much.
Another of my favortie GB spots to visit - you just about expect to see hobbits running around..tftc

I missed it but Mrs. Ww following found it . Another good spot. Thanks, Sidewaze.
Hello from England. After enjoying the free, fun Labyrinth "Maze" nearby, we then came on the groovy Grove! These rock formations were far bigger, but less twisting. The view at the end over the plains and across the sea was fab. Left house TB. TFTC [5286]
Great spot for a Sunday walk, this is a fascinating place to walk through. Took a little bit of searching to find the cache and patience required with lots of walkers around.
It's been many years since we had been to Golden Bay, and a long weekend seemed an ideal time to reacquaint ourselves with the area (and find a few caches as well ).
This is indeed a great place to visit. Magnificent trees and of course the amazing landscape. A nice easy and accessible walk too, especially as we were feeling a little weary from our travels today.
Didn't take long to find the cache, but replacing it took aaaages. I just couldn't get it back the way I thought I had found it. BTW, didn't see a TB in the cache. TFTC.

#8443. We really enjoyed exploring the area. This one we found pretty quickly. TFTC.
We found this cache during our wonderful journey through New Zealand. Thank you for the cache and the great time in your country! Greetings from Germany.
Found this while on the Coast Radio station prize win of the campervan holiday from Christchurch to Auckland "Bottoms Up" tour
found that one along our little caching and discovering Takaka & surroundings tour today. Tftc
Already have been out of this nice boulder garden but then checked for caches. This was quickly found and is a really nice one. TFTC & Regards from Bremen, Germany pxfritz

Loved the walk, cache was found by my father who was very smug about it! Trees look like octopus trees
