Cache hasn't been found in about 3 years. Made me wonder if it's still here, gave up looking after short search.
As I was leaving I came across a local who informed me of some heavy flooding in 2022, which make me think it may have been washed away.
Searched around for a while but only found a empty plastic bottle and no cache, it's been a while between finds so it might need a check!
The final day this year that the Caching Calendar gods require my propitiation. Actually. from one of my worse caching months, December is now one of my best, but CoVid lockdowns did dampen usually good months for me. Oh well.
So where to go for a slew of finds today? I'd noticed **NationalSteel**'s CCEvent at Robertson. While I often head to the Southern Highlands to cache, I don't go this far east.
Robertson it is!
Got to the event on time - that's always a miracle - then a walk in the drizzle for a few finds and the Adventure Lab before heading back to the car to get some further out of town.
Good day after a great little event.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
And the DNF of the day.
Couldn't find anything but the cows still came over. I think they were mocking me!
Finally gave it up and headed to my next target.

Nice drove down a road we’ve never been down before! Approached GZ from the wrong side and couldn’t get through. Finally made it and almost died of fright when I heard movement and then realised the local Moos had come to check out the commotion TFTC
Cache no-longer lonely, 10 months since last find.
Took a bit of searching but is in good order.

out with minniek and countrykittykat to pick up a few caches in Robertson. Quick find on our way home.
Nice find on a geocaching trip with minniek bOtman and geokids. Coming from the last cache we had to pull over as one of the geokids found they had a leech on them and became upset. Yucky yucky things
Diverted off the Robertson road. What a great place to come. Have been out caching with countrykittykat, B0tmun and the rest of my geokids.
A weekend away was hatched with Rapidlywild to head down to the Wollongong area to collect a few smileys. The weekend was a success with the SES series and other puzzles on the list ticked off with only a couple of DNF's.
Thanks to the cache owners for the cache placements and bringing us to the Wollongong area. The variety of puzzles on offer was enjoyable, some of the puzzles we have seen something similar before and some were quite challenging. Thanks for the challenge.

Plans were in place for sometime to attack the SES Puzzles with FurfacesLL and the Queens Birthday weekend was decided on for collecting them. We started working our way thorough the puzzles together, some were easier than others, and eventually we had them all solved. We took off after work friday and was home Sunday night.
We had a very muddy weekend but enjoyable all the least. Thanks to the CO's for the placements.
No issues locating this one today, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache placement The Bushies

I had just finished a couple of puzzles and was eager to go and find them. With Finalf29, I ended up finding them and of cause we had to grab a few more. Eight from eight. Great day, wonderful company and excellent views.
This is our last for the day. We had a little time to kill until dinner service at Burrawang Pub, so took Finalf29 around to where they filmed parts of Babe. Saw this one so made a quick grab. Thanks

Happy Uke and I were out and about trying grab a few caches out near Robbo. She was trying to show me some of the countryside where the film Babe was filmed and this cache was in the vicinity so we grabed it. Thanks!
TFTC ... Great bird life down this country road...inquisitive cows came and said hello .. Thanks The Bushies...Left a little Serenity...
Nice cache picked up trakable and is traveling to wollongong with me and is going to be placed where tourist visit so hopefully he can get to where he wants to go
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Quick and easy, though seems to be a feral cat living above the cache location, beware, he don't like company at all.
I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
Next cache on the list in our drive today arriving at 3:15pm for a quick and easy find. Signed log added a trinket, replaced and went on our merry way. Have always loved the road down to this cache and was able to frequent it more often when friends of ours were living right near GZ and other friends next door to them. We had our wedding reception here it was just beautiful looking at the rolling hills and the animals. Sadly they have all moved so we don't come here anymore. Thank you for bringing us back.
Some beautiful views out this way, thank you The Bushies for bringing us to a place we have not been before.

Enjoyed the drive up here & the curious bullocks at the nearby gate were cute. Can't recall seeing any TB's in the cache. TCTC

Easy find but well placed to prevent The Muggle Factor. Left nothing but did take a picture of Bestybro's Geocache Business Card (what a great idea). Cache in great condition! TFTC!
Finally got out to do this one last night tftc was a quick find, it appears that the tbs have moved on if the cacher who has them could please update there whereabouts thanks
I have never been down this way before. I noticed the old railway platform for what used to be Ranelagh House just next to the crossing. Log only. Thank you for the hide.
Find Number 689, found at 10:52
GeoSon NationalSteel invited me to take part in the annual Burrawang School of Arts fund-raising trivia competition. The following morning he took me on a geotour of Robertson and the surrounding areas.
A very pleasant drive past almost English scenes with cows and fields and the occasional stone wall. I originally tried to tackle this from the high side, but couldn't find a way to GZ. Attacking it from the low side meant I could get to GZ easily and the hide was then obvious.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found.
Thanks The Bushies for the cache.

Enjoyed drive the car along to cache. Thanks for showed around the country. Thanks the bushies.
I picked up a few finds across the highlands on my way back from Goulburn. This was one. TFTC
Found in the pitch black of night. Glad I had a bright torch!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Used to stay at the nearby Ranelagh House (now known as Fountaindale) years ago with my dad’s Rotary Club. A couple of us kids would explore the old railway platform and surrounding country laneways but never made it this far down. Nice that now in my adult days, caching lets me explore what lay at the end of this mysterious road which was often cloaked in fog.
12th of 17 today in a Kangaloon, Robertson, Glenquarry loop. Nice way to spend the morning before bowls. 7-11am [^]
Spent a little too long talking to the cows.
Way more than a little too long in fact.
Thanks

Having been along to Robertson show for much of the day we thought we should grab a few caches. Have never been down here before. It is lovely. Be a nice bike ride. Easy find. TFTC
Diving and Events at South Coast Feb 2014. What a great little side road. No traffic and a nice open area for the cache down the bottom. Thanks.
