Logs
On a trip to Melbourne I decided to swing past and try pick up a few caches while I was here,This cache was next on the list! After doing some calculations I had a set of good looking coordinates to navigate to. I circled around GZ for a while without much luck so stopped to read some previous logs and continued the search. Before too long the cache was found in a spot I already had checked but obviously not good enough the first time! The log was damp but I was able to get my name on there and I let it sit in the sun while I type out this log. Thanks for the cache!
Very straightforward! Despite the tree cover the gz was spot on! A quick find. The lid does unscrew as well!
Definitely one of the more frustrating DNFs I’ve had.
It took some serious bush bashing to get to GZ, where my GPS just would not settle down. I reckon I tried every single tree within a 50m radius.
After almost 2 hours I gave up, empty handed, and then had to bush bash all the way back out.
I would’ve given up sooner had somebody not found the cache 30 minutes prior to me.

I could not find this cache when I first looked for it a couple of years ago. It was a very cold, wet day which did not help. Today I returned and found the shiny green devil after a short search. The cache is impossible to open, so I took a photo as evidence. So nice to avenge a DNF.
So many large trees down in this area, so hard to get to gz. We weren't able to open the cache but took a pic for proof. Tftc hi pressure!!
DNF Avenged!
I had originally logged a DNF for this one back in November and since then I have put this one on a watchlist. Well after a string of found it logs, I figured it was about time to give this one another go. So I waited for a day where I needed a non-traditional, as I am slowly working on qualifying for "The Non-Traditional Calendar Challenge" (GC7RCQ3). So today was that day.
I revisited the post coordinates to confirm I did indeed calculate GZ correctly the first time. Once I had confirmed my GZ coordinates I was off to GZ. It was a stunning day out today with the weather perfect.
Once I got in the vicinity of GZ, the memory of this cache came flooding back. I remembered checking everywhere and coming up short. I took a deep breath and tried to retrace my steps.
The previous logs said it was quicker finds, so I checked the obvious locations... No cache....mhmm... I then check the unobvious locations...still no cache.
The feeling of dread started to sink in. No! I would find it, I was determined. However, after I expanded my search and still no cache in sight. I resorted to PAF. Aimed with a couple more hints I continued to narrow down my search.
After about an hour or so of eliminating every single possibility, in a streak of either frustration or desperation I expanded the search to farther than I thought it could be when all of a sudden the the cache was revealed!
I am not sure why my coordinates were off, my phone must just hate this area. However, I was beyond joy to finally get this cache open and sign the logbook! Cache avenge! Woohoo!
Thanks for the fun, frustration, adventure, and a trial in my patience / perseverance today lol and TFTC.
Cache Maintenance Status:
Cache container is in good shape, I think a bit of moisture may have entered the container as the lid was extremely hard to get off and the logbook was slightly damp. However, still very signable and still had plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

Found with icw. The creek was flowing quickly as we found the needed digits. Near GZ Common froglets were singing the praises of the damp conditions. Overhead Welcome swallows were rounding up tiny flying insects. Tftc.
The Blind Side and I were out grabbing a couple of puzzle caches he had solved from his home in Shepparton before heading to watch his son play footy in Scoresby. This one was on the way and looked like a fairly easy multi. The Blind Side wrote the required numbers on his hand and we transferred those to the app and headed off to gz. After leaving the sealed path some bush bashing was required but we eventually located the cache underneath a recently fallen tree. Nice multi TFTC
I knew I was heading to Scoresby today to watch my son play footy and knew I would have time to kill after completing the Lillydale Lake Parkrun so checked out the app and completed a few puzzles before heading to Melbourne. This multi was on the way to one of the puzzles I solved so as it looked pretty straight forward I thought I'd try and solve it and hope gz wasn't too far away. So with numbers written on the back of my hand, I calculated the coordinates and headed to a prospective gz. Sure enough after a quick search the prize was located although the cache was on the ground under a fallen tree (not sure it was supposed to be there) Nice multi TFTC
There was high pressure here to find this one after we came to the park another time and the nearby mystery cache was missing!
We walked down from Norton's Park so the dog could have a run around up there and grabbed the info off the plaque near the bridge before continuing on to the calculated coordinates.
Plenty of bush bashing (and cobweb clearing), must have been a while since anyone was in here! Had a quick search of likely spots before noticing something and had the container in hand. TFTC!

I sorted out the coordinates and went to look for the cache. I found nothing. I read the hint and previous logs and I still could not find anything. I also checked in the long grass around GZ but still came up with nothing. I am fairly sure I was searching the right place. Bah. I will watch this one.
Solved the final coordinates fairly quick, thought I found a geotrail on my way to GZ but unfortunately no luck for me today
We had perfect weather to get the bikes out and tackle a couple more multis in this park. Took a seat to calculate the information, then spent some time admiring our surroundings.
I elected to stay with the bikes on the path and let Steve handle the bush bash on his own. It was after all a warm day, and the possibility of snakes in the area made it an easy decision:)
He was gone for awhile so was obviously having a little difficulty finding the cache, but he did return triumphant.
Thanks hi pressure for placing this cache, and also to the Cache Guardians for keeping it in the game.

The weather looked dubious and thought it may be good to try this park if people fear the weather - nope it is busier than Burke Street!
After finally getting a car park, I ventured away from the crowds and found some cool back trails. Crossing this bridge I saw a hole in a tree trunk and thought it would be a good spot for a cache - checking the map, this one was only 50m back and begging to be found.
Thanks for the cache.

Discovered the approach when doing “Follow Directions” so returned on a walk with the hounds and my Mum.
We all ventured off the beaten track, following the geotrail. At 84 Mum was doing well, it was her first find!
We found the cache lying in the grass. It opened fine, but we lubricated the threads just in case. Returned it to a spot about a metre off the ground. It could do with a cable tie, and the tree is very dead!
Thanks for running this cache for the first 4 years hipressure, and thanks for taking on its care for the 5 years that have followed Cache Guardians.

After completing the simple puzzle we headed off to find the cache while out for our exercise. After a bit of a bush bash trying to find our way to GZ and the GPS initially taking us around in circles it was Mr Pooky who eventually made the find after rechecking a spot he had previously looked without success due to being vertically challenged. TFTC and the puzzle. TNLN.
The last geocacher put the lid on too tightly that it took a while to open up but got it after a while. Logbook damp as others have said but I was still able to write on it. TFTC
Thank you for the cache! The find was easier (more accessible) than I initially made it, though still brambly, but the log is quite moist.
I found myself in this area this morning so I decided to target some multis. I really enjoyed the walk to the posted co-ords where I not only took a seat to do the calculations, I spent some time enjoying the running river nearby. Once I had the numbers, I headed off to GZ. I took way too long to find the cache but I was pleased when I did. Thanks hi pressure and congratulations on your 110th hide in this lovely area.
Gotcha! Out after dark with master 16, chasing a few steps and one find for the night.
We parked at base of Norton’s lane and made our way to WO1 without incident. Bright lights near the bridge - is that the golf clubhouse?
Did our sums and made our way to the edge of the forest, and after a few false starts we found a faint trail to the GZ - quick look around and there’s the container.
Log book is a little damp but nothing too serious - would have aired it out a little bit the rain started-up so we closed container and headed back for the geo-Corolla.
Thanks Hi a pressure for a fun adventure.

Having completed *sharkiefan's* **Multicache Month Challenge Cache** back in January, I have decided that April is my month for her **Mystery Cache Monthly Challenge**... 30 Mystery caches in 30 days... How hard can it be? Well, with 16 in 17 days, I decided I needed to get out this afternoon and find a few more to *stay ahead of the curve!*
I had a couple of pre-solved Mystery caches to find around here and the start of the Multi was on my path between them... so naturally I stopped to collected the required information and work out where GZ was. It turned out to be not exactly in the direction I was going but the detour wasn't that big so off I went. Trying to *disappear* off he main path without being noticed by all the passing muggles wasn't easy... but I managed it in the end. The cache itself was a straight forward find...
Thanks **hi pressure** for the cache... and the **Cache Guardians** for keeping it alive.

When ever I am in the area, I focus on collecting these old Hi Pressure geocaches. So while I was near Jells Park for work, I thought I would come here to collect this one. I was able to work out the Multi part at the bridge pretty easily and then enjoyed the stroll to the final.
That was when the enjoyment ended. The plants all had long spikes that wanted to stab me and I was having no luck finding any geocache. After 20 minutes looking, I had expanded my search radius and still nothing. After a call out to a PAF, I got a reply with a detailed description on the spot to focus on, but still no geocache could be found. After another few minutes, getting spiked another hundred times more, I found it. It was about a meter away laying hidden in the grass. Glad it was a decent size, as I probably wouldn't have seen a small bison in all the long grass.
Then after all that, I still thought I was going to fail as I really struggled to open it. About to give up, I was finally able to open it using all my strength. Log was wet at some stage, but all good to sign.
Thanks for the cache Hi Pressure & Cache Guardians

Struggled with this at first and even tried a PAF. We managed to locate the cache before the PAF got back to us. Now to exit, . . . . . the short way. Must be caching. Thanks for placing this for us to find.
An unexpected find today after a near by plant purchase.
We have on occasion ridden bikes through here to Jells park in the past.
The gliders were in the air just under the low cloud.
Container was stubborn but after a bit of tappiage opened easily.

Some days we get numbers wrong but it doesn’t take that long to realise. Only a tad wet compared to flooded tracks last time here. Log not signed but photo taken - high pressure big pressure and could not open it - close to pulling shoulder muscle! Some zealous finder trying to prevent water seepage? TFTC
Found it! Very soggy logbook and my pen ran out of ink, Kujath fam found on 16/4/20
Editing to say: this was our first ever find!

I had a great time finding your cache
hi pressure, thank you so much for placing it.

Came here to do a non-trads cache, thanks hi pressure for creating a simple multi, nice strolling along the track to the GZ, bit wet today!
{269} We picked up the required numbers whilst on a lovely hike through this area. The creek was flowing & we could hear golfers teeing off & hopefully not spoiling their walks. Then we did a huge lap picking up some other caches before getting to GZ on this one. What? In there? But there's SNAKES. Ugh there was nothing for it but to dive in. I had read the previous logs, and given the last find was 4.5 months ago, the lantana was enveloping everything again. We narrowed it down & geohubby had the tricky hide in hand (& no snakes encountered). Congrats on your 110th hide hi pressure & thanks for bringing us here!
Nice easy walk till the last part of the search. That part was a bit of a bush bash. Finally got to the hide. The container was filled with some water which I had to tip out but otherwise it was good to go TFTC hi pressure
Nice walk to the first WP. Collected the information then went off to the GZ.
There the geodog decided he had walked enough and needed a break. The others went off and found the cache
while dog and I kept a lookout for muggles. Thanks for the cache hi pressure
Caching with Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.

Everything was pretty smooth sailing until we reached the final GZ. Leg 1 was pulling us into a false sense if security before plunging us into unknown and untold dangers!
We stepped into the forest, missing any sign of a geopath, but from the logs it had been a while since anyone had dared attempt this journey. Our first danger lurked within the tall grasses, waiting ever so patiently to trip unknown travellers.
Next, it was a test if balance as we traversed a recently felled tree, this lead us near the GZ sight where I once again had to battle my vertical deficiencies.
Cache is hand finally, we retraced our steps and encountered muggles as we stepped out from the cover if the trees.
The path home was far more treacherous as we were almost mowed down by... A mower and several bicycles and a rangers car!

Found it , sneaky hide, couldn't find it on my approach, but when I came in on a different angle it was spotted and signed. All in good order. Tftc
After attending the event nearby we decided on the spur of the moment to head north and knock off some more multis around Jells Park. The rain had passed over and the sun was now shining allowing us to enjoy the location and walk as we made the finds. An easy offset multi that produced the hide straight off. Congrats on your 110th hide and thanks for the cache.
I always liked hi pressure caches, so as I was in the area to deliver an item for a client, why not go get a cache, a quick calculation was done, a shortish walk and a quickish find, a little bit of water in the container which I drained, but all well otherwise.
This was a nice quick multi, specially considering who the co is! I found the information at the given Coords and soon had GZ worked out. A quick jump of a make shift creek, and I was soon at GZ. I managed to find the well hidden cache quite quickly. Thanks for maintaining this cache Cache Guardians
Was here tonight picking up "How well do you follow instructions" and thought I might have time to do this multi. I gathered the info quickly and ran to GZ, hoping for a quick pickup but this one took some finding! It was obvious in the end but I needed to be at the right angle to see it. TFTC hi pressure!
Having a wander through the parklands and decided to give this one a go. Had to wipe the mud of the plaque to get my information but once I had it in hand it was easy to plot my course to GZ. Getting into GZ was a little more difficult and after multiple scratches and prickles I finally had the cache in hand. Signed the log and plotted my way back out to safety. TFTC
There was a bit of screaming involved with a friend who walked into a spider web and it was a taller friend who actually spotted the cache, sooo pretty eventful outing overall.
The twilight made it a bit hard to see but found it after a bit of hunting around
I seem to be on a mission to progressively depopulate the Melbourne urban area of multis. This was the nearest which seemed to have a regular stream of finds and where there was minimal scope for the miscalculation of WPs or GZ by counting in error.
So after finding a relatively nearby trad I thought I'd try my luck here. A well executed cache with the usual geotrails to GZ. I'd imagine snakes could be an issue in summer although winter is not without it's own hazards, especially when a bit of rain has come down.
Thanks to the Cache Guardians and specifically AH for maintaining the cache.

#965 - 12.20am
Due to a head full of thoughts and the rapidly fading light, I found myself at the required information almost before I realised. Only a few cycling muggles to dodge as they whizzed by. I quickly processed the numbers and advanced on GZ. The practically full moon cast a glow over the darkened landscape. It was nice to see this particular area for the first time as it connected a few of my mental maps together. The scene was now conveniently deserted as I headed off the beaten track. I looked about in obvious spots without joy. So I reluctantly pulled the torch out but that didn't reveal the cache either. I had to go for the clue, which prompted an immediate facepalm.
There was now just one problem. The cache was jammed shut. Fortunately, I had a pair of disposable gloves in my pocket for just this sort of thing. But even the extra grip they afforded couldn't shift it. I think the effort and straining may have shifted something in my shoulder though!
There was nothing for it but to find a Plan B 'daily cache' and take this hi pressure one to the local Cache Guardian for some 'technical assistance'. It took some blood, sweat and tears, but it was eventually opened. A full service was conducted, including the provision of a replacement logbook.
Distracted with all the drama, it was quite late by the time I remembered to sign the log! The night had slipped away and I was still left with the matter of putting the cache back, lol.
One day I'll have a straightforward find...
But not today!
Thanks to hi pressure for the cache and to The Cache Guardians for its ongoing care.

We were covering a bit of distance on our walk today so we were keen to grab some straight-forward caches along our route. It's amazing how few trads there are through Jells and Nortons Parks! It was nice to discover that this multi was a nice simple one and that we were passing both the posted coords and GZ on our walk.
The final coords were quickly calculated and the find was made on our way back to the car. I can see how this has lasted the rest of time. A nice simple hide, yet away from prying eyes.
Contents are on the damp side but still ok. Log book is getting full. Thanks for the nice simple multi when drawn-out multi were not an option.

It was quite a pleasant place to sit and solve the clues, even with many, many, many muggles passing by on this Easter Sunday. Finding the cache after that was straightforward. We found the log in a damp condition and the cache itself probably needs a clean off and freshening up. Otherwise lots of fun in a pretty area for a meander. Thanks!
Second of 2 finds of hi pressure today. Excellent sunny day with geodog. Had worked out coordinates a few months ago so headed down the track avoiding muggles on bikes. Like the last finder meandered off the path to find the cache. On the mark. Filled in log to last find on site and let the sunlight dry the slightly damp log. All sealed and replaced dryer. TFTC
Continuing to head towards our self-set 31 day caching challenge for January, we decided to tackle a multi. It was a nice day for a walk, overcast, warm breeze blowing. We found waypoint one without issue and quickly did the maths. Co-ordinates looked legit so off we went. However, when we got there, we weren't so sure. However, thanks to those brave cachers who had gone before us a geotrail had been forged, which alleviated our fears of wrong coordinates and the pain of having to retreat back to WP1. Once the path was found, the GPS did the rest and we soon had the cache in hand. Cleared out some water from the container and wrote our name on the log (which is slightly wet). Unfortunately, we didn't have anything to replace the wet log with. TFTC.
Find #3043
I was heading to a meeting on this side of town after work and I stopped off to look for a few cache sin the area. After a couple of puzzle finds I carried on to this one. gathered the information and took a seat to test my maths skills and crunch the numbers. Found a likely looking GZ and headed for that. There were a few walkers and bikers on the paths but I was able to divert off for this one and make the find. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this multi cache hi pressure and to the Cache Guardians for looking after it.

Decided to let jaktembo bush bash for this baby but ended up getting bored and braving it in my thongs. Bout 5m from gz mamma ek pipes up 'got it'. Had a bit of a look see. Tftc
Grabbed this with Kejajo89 whilst doing a mystery in this park. Havnt found a 6 month since last log before. Was a bit wary of snakes but geocaching seems to make me feel invincible lol. Cache all good.
Chiefton and I are celebrating your 110 hide with you, I can't remember is that Diamond or Sapphire?
Thanks for looking after this cache, Cache Guardians. Good work!

On such a cold and drizzly morning I was surprised to see so many muggles in the park. After meeting up with vividrogers, sezzy2683I was glad I had worn my waterproof boots to protect me from the numerous puddles. Some quick calculations and we were on our way to GZ. A nicely hidden cache. TFTC
There are cows! In the field! Lovely fluffy black ones. The kids start discussing how they have no milk because their udders aren't full- who says city kids don't know where milk comes from?! We find the plaque ok and we solved the coordinates, noted both how high the river is and also has been. We hop down the path to the right place and soon have log book in hand - attached pic of cows because I am rather fond of them.
Found this morning while grabbing a few smilies in around Jells Park. This was one of the quicker multi's we attempted today and we soon had made a quick retrieval. Thanks Cache Guardians for the enjoyable multi and pleasant stroll. TFTC.

Lots of puddle jumping on the way to this cache. Was surprised to see so many muggles around here today on this cold Saturday.
Cheers for the cache

I think I may have been here before, seeking this one, but I seem to recall running out of time. No matter, the calculations took about 35 seconds, so there was no need to weep over duplicated effort. 'Twas a pleasant enough stroll to GZ on a quite isolated path (isolated by "middle of suburbia" standards; wouldn't really want to have a heart attack out here, with or without emergency marker codes to relay to the operator). I took a while to spy the cache, even after consulting the hint, despite the fact I was standing right next to it. Thanks for luring me out here, hi pressure & Cache Guardians!
Quick calcs then on the way to GZ , for a little bridge it's amazing it's got it's own plaque , I noticed this cache has a heap of finds and no favs, I am sure there's a challenge cache for this... It will take me ages to find it though. Anyway log book was full so I added a new one, in its own bag as the other was damp. Thanks for keeping this one going
Off the beaten track! Wasn't sure how to get here from the bike path but I figured it out. Tftc!
This cache is now being maintained by the Cache Guardians, a small group of enthusiastic cachers dedicated to keeping caches of historic value alive. If there are any issues with this cache, please post a ***"Needs Maintenance"*** log and one of us will get out there as soon as we can.
Thank You

Out with rod (n0w0rries) on the hunt in the jells park area getting all the multi's and along the way try and get an unloved. TFTC.
Calculation of GZ was straightforward, but search for cache at GZ took a few minutes. Nice hide. TFTC
Took some photos at the start then sat to do the math.
Watching a pair of cockies up the dead tree over the creek.
By all the noise they were making it sounds like they are renovating the old place.
Took a brisk stroll to near GZ and then waited out all the exercising muggles.
An easy find at 17:45, once the satellites finally settled. (#1684)
Cache and contents in good order. [^]
Thanks for yet another great multi-cache (#191) hi pressure.

We solved this one a while ago after taking a photo of the plaque and computing the coords late one night. Finally a month later we took advantage of a nice evening to go grab it. We took the four legged universal excuse for sniffing around in the undergrowth and despite a myriad of muggles, soon had the tube in our hands. Thanks Hi Pressure for an enjoyable walk and the chance for another satisfying find.
I have been cycling through this area for a while now and never noticed the information at the posted co-ordinates. Having obtained the information I was able to move on to the area near GZ. Having read a few logs I was a little worried about what might be guarding the cache, so I proceeded to search very carefully! Once the GPS settled down I was able to find the hide fairly quickly and luckily no surprises waiting for me. TFTC!
TFTC. I had spent a lot of time searching for this one a day or two ago. Even resorted to asking for an extra hint. When I got home I double checked my arithmetic. For an accountant (retired) it is embarrassing when a simple calculation trips you up. I had been in the wrong location. If I had been sensible I should have expanded the search area on the previous search. Anyhow with correct co-ords in hand it was a simple straightforward find.
Found It!

Last night I realised that I was over half way towards the Mystery Month Challenge so I thought that I would shake the dust off some of the previously solved mystery caches and actually grab them. The weather was sunny in the morning which made it pleasant for driving and walking to the GZs.
As I was in the area I took a slight detour from my plan to complete this. A quick find. TFTC.

A beautiful area and a great hide! Said hello to some cows on my walk, then into the scrub for the hide! Thank you so much!
A nice quick multi on a very pleasant walk around the area. Thanks for bringing me here.
No issues with finding this one. A nice park that is well laid out. Collected some data for a mystery at the car park and dawdled my way up the path. One thing I'm not fond of in Melbourne is the inescapable traffic noise. While it was muted here it was still present. Tftc
Whilst out picking up some previously solved puzzle caches, 88andy88 and I came across this nice little multi. Soon had cache in hand. SL TNLN TFTC.
Thought I would go out at lunchtime today to find this one, it was a great day weather wise and as I walked to the first WP all I could hear was the chirping of birds and the odd CRACK!!! of a driver from the golf course, its going to be hard to go back to work after this cache.
I reached WP1 got the numbers and sat down on a nearby seat to workout the coordinates, as I was doing this the ranger drove by so I had to enable stealth mode a pretend to be looking at my phone, after he had left I got up and headed to GZ, had a look for a minute or two then I spotted it, I noticed that there were a lot of ants on the cache and as I retrieved it I dropped it on the floor and a big black spider had made a home on the bottom, so after sending him to his maker I signed the log and replaced the cache, TFTC hi pressure I have found a few of yours now and enjoyed every one of them and I'm happy to be the FTF for 2015

– A pleasant stroll, thunder clouds and a few spots threatened to ruin my walk, but they never eventuated, well not for quite a while later. Gathered the clue and then it was off to find the cache. At GZ I looked here and there and didn’t spot it anywhere, until I looked at te right angle and then it became obvious. How had I missed that before? Upon grabbing the cache a large red-back spider presented itself and scurried across my fingers. Involuntarily, I threw the cache and spider quite some distance away. I did a few ninja moves that made it look like I was fighting a phantom assailant and then recomposed myself. After that I walked over to where the cache had landed. Thoroughly inspected it with a stick before picking it up, opening it gingerly and signing the log before replacing it where I had found it. Thanks hi_pressure, it’s nice to get another one of your ticked off.

In the area for a couple of weeks studying and had to get away from the books - sounds like a good excuse for caching to me!
I didn't know Jells Park and surrounds were this big, great area around here!

After finding a nearby puzzle cache, I noticed the information for this multi was available nearby so I toddled on over and nabbed it. A quick calculation later and I stored the gz coords for later use. Today was the day, I was nearby and this was one of two smileys close together for me to collect. I made a relatively quick find, signed the log and bashed my way out of there. TFTC hi pressure.
We did this one on the way to find the clue for Rabbito's 'How Well Do You Follow Instructions'. A nice interlude that allowed the kids some lunch and snack stops. When you leave the path for GZ it initially looks like you are heading into thick bush but it soon opens up and we felt safe roaming amongst the trees. Thanks for all your hides hi-pressure - we've found some as far as Lake Mountain and as close as 1km from home.
We dodged insanely fast motor mowers to find the clues to this one, then braved what one of the kids called, 'Snake School' to get to the cache. Another fun mega container that Hera found first. Thanks again, hi pressure.
Followed the directions well enough to find the nearby cache , then continued on to find this. A pleasant walk led me to this neat cache. Congratulations on putting out so many hides for everyone to enjoy, as they are an amazing amount of thought and time to implement. TFTC hi pressure
I have been to this delightful park often. Today we were here doing a nearby puzzle cache, and walked on to enjoy more scenery and the little blue wrens which were hopping about. Quick find, well hidden. Thanks hi pressure
