Logs
I found this geocache during a recent trip, however, for sme reason my log didn't automatically upload from my GPS as it is programmed to.Thanks for your cache hide and the effort that you put into maintaining it,
Found at 11:24 AM GAFF1.More interesting information about the area and the decline of the aboriginal population - which was inevitable as in all colonised countries. That Major Mitchell certainly explored a lot of this country!Cache once again found exposed. Thanks to Makkas
Another unfortunate footy ground that is no longer used. The youngest monster was quick out of the car and made a quick find! TFTC!!
Time for Mr. Lazy aka JTreeTrack2 to catch up on some logs. Sorry to the cache owners for the lag. I have enjoyed finding every cache I have found and appreciate all the effort that has gone in to placing and maintaining the caches. Hopefully I will find more caches and give a more timely and personalized logThanks again for placing the cache.
I couldn't believe it. A muggle at GZ at this early hour on a freezing -2 degrees morning. I waited in my warm car until he move on and then made a quick find.
We continued today our tour in Victoria, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to Makkas for the generation of this nice cache Maroona (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Out on a road trip from Ballarat and this was the next stop. No-one around today so parked near GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Great to see this has survived for a while.
Thanks for another one Makkas...cache all good.

A nice quick and easy park and grab.
We started to read the description but then decided Mrs Riddell would read it back in the car when we could be more time efficient.
We looked at the info board describing the erecting of the Avenue of Honor. A lovely tribute here too.
A nice peaceful location. Loos were open and it was definitely lunchtime.

Not in the first place we looked, but definitely here, Dodged the swooping magpie for the find and a quick selfie. Thanks from Team Bearsley!
I decided to do a road trip along the Great Ocean Road this week. It’s been a long time since I travelled along this area and it was certainly before I was into caching! Having reached Warrnambool, I’m now making my way inland to head back towards Melbourne…. Via Beaufort and Ballarat .
Found the cache relatively quickly and signed the log.
Thanks Makkas for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

The baby of our family was super excited to finally beat her siblings at finding this one! Tftc
I found this cache on a caching adventure out west by myself. Testing out the new van to see how it goes as a camper.
Today I would start at Langi Ghiran state park, where I camped last night and drive via Apsley to camp at Baileys Rocks campground tonight.
A quick stop to nab this cache. Nice easy find, thanks!

GeoW found this one in record time, when spotting
the thing slightly out of place in nature ( perhaps ).
Bit of a rough surface on the oval nowadays.
Thx JJHHXX. Find 26

First find for 2022!
The cache was hidden in a plastic bag which goes against the environmental rules of geocaching so I have removed the bag and hidden the container where I found it.
Great hide though! Swappable left. Tftc

This was a nice quick find for GT37 and I today. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
A lovely area. I was impressed by the simple but very moving soldiers' memorial.

The black and white security guard was on point today which was a bit unexpected! Nice little spot for a stop. Thanks for the cache.
Day 6 of our Victorian winter holiday and heading for Warrnambool from Ararat. Called into Maroona cache and SL at 10.38am - our 3rd find for today. #8068 TFTC Makkas
On a road trip to Western Victoria, picking up random caches as we check out the area. This was day 12 of the 16 day trip and we are now camping at Lake Bolac. Today we headed into Ararat and on the return journey we stopped here to find the cache. The GPS took Mrs Pooky straight to GZ and the cache. TFTC. TNLN.
*Staying in Ararat for a few days*

Found on my way to Willaura. A nice easy find, and exactly where the coordinates and the clue said it would be. This would be a nice shady spot to stop and take a breather on a trip.
Lots of people have passed through here, but on this cold and wet day we saw nobody. Did the sheep dung dance to get to GZ and rushed back into the car to escape the elements.

Accidentally went to the wrong area but then eventually found the right one! TFTC
Enjoyed a cool winter's afternoon caching our way in a loop south of Ararat. Thank you for the impressive recount of the history of this area. Cache found easily in good condition. TFTC Makkas.
A nice easy find as I came by Maroona As usual my route is never the most direct as I wander from cache to cache but makes my travels just that much more interesting. TFTC Makkah
Crikey !!
That's a lot of Maroona history to take in [:o]
No wonder finding this cache took me 20 minutes
I got lost in reading the well researched and written cache notes,
before I got around to looking for the cache
Easy find !! [^]

The last Day in Millicent to clean up a few caches before Easter with BettyBoo3747.
Today we departed Millicent and headed to Ararat collecting caches along our route.
Interesting history of the area, very little to be seen today.
No one playing any spot here today so a quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.

#17209. Today is a travelling day between Millicent and Ararat. Just picked up a few caches along the way. Interesting history of the area and Burrumbeep. It would be good to see all the points of interest and remnants as pointed out in the notes. There was a long train parked across the oval when we were here today. We found the cache, signed the log and continued on our way.
Thanks Makkas
Thanks Makkas
A quiet spot here with a rich but forgotten local history. A nice easy find to finish the day. Cheers
