we didnt find this one either... but no one has reported any action for a long time with this cache... is it still there?
I was trying to understand what the description means and my 4yo son already found it. TFTC
Haven't explored this part of Parrs Park before. It all looks very nice here. We parked and walked to GZ where we made a quick find. TFTC.
Quick find!! The log is really badly falling apart and needs a replacement!! Tftc
Quick find after a no find on the previous one which we spent a while searching for.
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
See rebel98 log below, now I get the picture, months on from the original find. Thanks again for the hide.

Another clever camo in the park. Tried to be stealthy, grabbing the cache, then walking over to the Pou honouring Hoani Waititi. Log signed, cache returned and covered. Thanks for bringing me here.
This was the second in the row for me.
This is Day 2 of our trip to the Land of the Long White Cloud for the 2013 NZ MEGA event in Auckland. I joined Gunnie69 and Kaisho53 for a fun packed 5 days of geocaching adventures.

Another quick find for Ghostgums, Kaisho53 and I. Even with a lot of options at GZ, Ghostgums located the container in no time at all and we had business sorted in a minute or so and were back on the road... [^]
Cheers ishoot.

After our first night in Auckland doing caching before the Mega event, RuruNZ and I decided to do the caches in this park area. No real plan of attack for them so just headed on round doing those we could as we went.
Found on our MEGA long weekend.
Thanks for the seat to rest the legs while we worked the brain.
Quick find once at GZ.
Log is damp but still useable.

Out with the kids for an evening cache hunt found quickly once muggles with dogs moved on.
Found it pretty quickly. Log is full and quite wet - didn't have any replacements on me. Cool spot.
Didn't realise there was this lovely parkland area behind Waterhole ! And I've lived out here for years !

Initially there was a muggle sitting on the seat so went down the road to get another cache. Came back and the coast was clear. TFTC
Nice quick find. Cache is sitting in a lot of water, so I was expecting a wet log sheet. But all was good. TFTC.
Out and about exploring the area - nice bit of DIY - SL dipped trackable replaced where found T4TC
Perfect day for caching, wet enough to keep all but the hardy indoors, but warm enough to be comfy. Thanks for the hide
After finding the other cache, I naturally continued my wonder on down this way for this one too.
Had time to read all the info on the way over, so then the cache was very easily and quickly found. No muggles about here either! (Though there was one between these two caches... he/she was sleeping in their car on the back seat with the door open, and their feet and blanket just sticking out the door... West Auckland... haha.
Neat camo job here! Cache did almost blow away while I was signing the log though!
TFTC!!

Quick find while the kids were are at the water hole swimming, I was walking the dogs and picking up a few caches on the way.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Somehow missed this cache on our last visit to Parrs Park, so we had a quick look this evening and quickly found the cache. Another nice camo job on this one. TFTC!!

Sneaked off during daughter's soccer game at Parrs Park to find a few caches in the area. Nice camo. Like the cache name. TFTC.

Great looking cammo and a park that has come along well, will look good for next summer when all the work is finished, TFTC
Awesome camo. took a while but we did finally find the cache. Have you been taking lessons with Glyn? t4tc
Another one located at the exact published co-ords...but well camoed and in a nice hidey-hole. Thanks for the cache. The council has done a lot of work doing up this area, and its great to see our rates money well-spent
It is time to venture SW from my Home coords and pick up a few caches this morning.
Had to wait for 3 K9s and their 2 muggle pets to disappear so went on to do the other nearby cache before returning to find this one.
Cheers for the cache.

Mr Team Welsh was able to collect his one ok but the other one nearby was surrounded by workmen so had to give that a miss. Never mind, there's always another day. TFTC
Quick find before the football starts and while the team are warming up. Go Norwest. Tfhc
12:30 A quick find by Haydn and another cache in Parrs Park over the years for me. This area has seriously changed since I was here to find GC237YP Indigenous. TFTC.

I parked nearby and walked across to GZ. The area was fairly quite except for some football lessons taking place across the road.
I spotted the cache from about 3 meters away and it was quickly retrieved, LB signed and returned without issue.

After sending the most adventurous Reid, young Miss, the cache was retrieved. Very good hide and a good camo too!
Dodged the HUGE weta. What as he doing? Looked for his signature on the log but I dont think he could get the top of the cache. Thanks.
Only reason it wasn't in the first place I looked was because I approached from the wrong side.

Was in the area for a short time so this one came up as I was here looking at all the progress in this area. I used to have a cache around here myself until they took away the tree's etc around the area

Awesome hide this one. Was bit hard to look for the rightoneinthehollow but finally my eyes adjusted to the dimming lights and the find was made while the two ladies waited for me in the car.

Must have driven right past this just as it was published on my way to pick up evilno9 to head to netball, but it wasn't till we got to netball we saw it had been published. Unable to do anything due to the impending netball game, we opted to call in here on our way home, and as expected, it had already been found! Nonetheless it was a fun little adventure in the dark, and as I put my tree climbing skills to use, which wasn't really very useful in the scheme of things, evilno9 made the find, in a spot I'd already looked... Nice hide, in a nice spot. TFTC!
Always happy to see a new cache pop up nice and close to home, just not so happy when I'm not actually at home and just about to play a game of netball. No matter, swung past on the way home and after a bit of a search in the dark we had the cache found. I run through here weekly so it's been nice to see the changes to the area, even if it meant the loss of the previous cache that was here. TFTC
Parked nice and close and made a quick find here, thanks to the great "clue" . Good to see this park being developed nicely, with obvious changes since the last aerial images used by Google Maps. FTF #1042 TFTC!!!
