We stopped in to check this one and there is no sign of the cache in the hidey hole or anywhere else in the area so we won't be replacing this again sadly.
Third stop on the local tour but this time no luck, my gps seemed to be right and I search for a while but to no avail. Looked like a hiding spot had been pilfered.
As we are visiting the world's best brown trout fishing location , I have added a Travel Fish Bones TF5EWF. From Hervey Bay in Queensland Australia. Will formally log him as here when access to a computer . Recognition to a fellow geo buddy who hails from here! Hi Allan!! Great town !!! Tftc
After coming down with a winter bug after last week's guide camp I felt I needed to get out of the house. Had a pair of gumboots needing to be reunited with their owner over Gore way, so mostly Muggly hubby thought a drive over would be an idea.
My sister called just as we pulled up, so chatted a while before heading out of the car to make the find. Initially thought there was a community garden here, then decided it was the private garden of the neighbour's. But hard to tell with no fences. Nice quick find and great camp.
Thanks for the smilie.

Found as the light was fading at the end of a beautiful Southland day. This cache is the closest to the motel where I am staying. TFTC
Ahhahaha if the little woman seen that she would have run! Great camo. Nice that this one had been replaced quickly in time for our long weekend trip north. The cache has good company, lol. 1st to SL. TFTC
On our way back to Christchurch on the last week of our visit to New Zealand. Greetings from England
Stopped in Gore for lunch when driving from Te Anau to Dunedin. Found the likely hiding place but no cache, then found cache exposed. Returned cache to hiding place. TFTC
Find #38 on Team Walker's epic adventure from Blenheim to Bluff and back. Quick find here in the rain . TFTC
On the way from the Catlins to Fiordland we found a cache here while celebrating Epiphany with a Three Kings cake. We duly crowned our queen (she who found the 'bean' in her piece of cake) with a flower crown which almost blew away in the fierce wind. TFTC
Found this one while travelling through Gore en route to Te Anau. We stopped in the reserve here for tea (from our own thermos) and our customary epiphanies cake - my sister was crowned "Queen of the Southern Reaches" (for a day). It was a very windy day, but fortunately the logbook didn't blow away. This will be my token cache in Southland, before I moved on to Fjordland. Tftc.
Stopped in Gore en-route from Te Anau to Dunedin. Great place for a cache. It is in a reasonably secluded spot (although the cyclist who was passing and stopped probably thought I was doing something else behind the tree). Took the opportunity to pick up a TB and to drop another.
This one was our first cache in Gore. Also, probably our southest found cache. Tftc!
This cache was the furtherest South that we travelled on this trip. Nice quick find at GZ SL left TB and replaced as found.
Found as part of our "2016 Pensioners' Road Trip"
Many thanks to kryshan for setting this cache and greetings from the Isle of Man.
Cache number 5011
A pleasant spot for a brief rest as we soldier on towards Invercargill. Thanks for placing the cache here. TFTC
Kind of surprised this one hasn't been well muggled. Nice spot though and very nicely groomed. Dogs enjoyed a blast by the river
In Southland for a few days on a work trip, I managed to convince the boss to stop at least once a day to find a cache so I could keep my streak going . Quick find here. TFTC (3238)
Fantastic. The cache had company in it's hide. [^] Cache logged and rehid. TFTC
Found on our way down South to Bluff for the weekend. A nice little spot to stop along the way and a quick find by J. Dropped off TB. TFTC
Many greatings from Germany! Today we find this Cache during our trip arround the world! This will be our southernmost (we think) forever! It is more than 18.000 km away from our home location. Thanks to the owner! Blind chicken
2 English ex-pats retired to Cyprus are on their Big Trip and enjoyed stopping by the river for a picnic. TFTC
I had been talking with a neighbour at the caravan park about geocaching and he said that he would be interested to take up the hobby so I invited him to join me today for a jaunt around the town to sign off a few. So he immediately joined up with GC.COM.This was the nineth we found. He was hooked.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Parked by the river for a quick find. Fussing over an adorable wandering dog took much longer! TFTC.
Tftc - quickly found this one - had been to this park previously looking for the now archived cache - so pleased to now log a smilie
We stopped to fill up our car and thought this was the perfect opportunity to grab a quick cache. And so we did TFTC

Last night was our last night in Te Anua. We are now heading for The Catlins. This was my last find before lunch. I enjoyed the quirky container. A favourite from me. It was a good place to stop for lunch too.
Getting dark so started to make tracks for home but still time for one more cache. Was going to attempt this one last time I was down but ran out of time. This time I was out and about by myself with no set time to be back by so I decided to go for it.
Was a bit concerned with the house nearby but I couldn't see any lights on which was lucky as I had to use my car lights to find the cache.
Logbook quickly signed and returned to it's spot before anyone went past.
Thanks for the hide.

TFTC - brought back a few memories! Last time I would have been down here would have been a few decades ago completing dodgy late night driving
Found easily, and with a laugh.
I think this is my furthest south cache, over 16,000 Km from my furthest north cache http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCNZEM_skogen-8-at-the-governors
