My wife had a meeting nearby so I took the opportunity to look for this cache, had plenty of time so once the coast was clear I started. TFTC
Busy area today but sometimes that can be an advantage as the muggles didn't seem to notice me. After reading previous logs and picking up a few hints I narrowed GZ down to a particular structure. Grabbed the cache but log book is in need of repair.

This was our second at this and I'm surprised we got it at all with all the foot traffic. Today was particulqrly difficult with a woman and her kids sitting in the closest car spot for close to an hour. We came, she was there, we left, it rained, we had some food, we came back, she was still there. We gave up and jumped in the car to go home and as we were driving past GZ we saw the car and woman we knew so well, leaving! So we took her park and had the cache in a jiffy. TFTC. The waterproof log is full and the additional logs are damp.
Enjoying my visit to Melbourne while daughter is at Chemistry conference. Had been to the market on weekend and was relieved that it was closed today-it is a high muggle area otherwise. Really like these magnetic ones. FYI..the logs are full and the added paper logs are damp. TFTC

Quick second find in South Melbourne while I was bumping around after a morning meeting. The market was open, allowing me to grab this cache and then huddle up for warmth inside. I bought a empanada. I made the mistake of not heating the empanada. It was very cold. Hence the poor signature on the log!

Found around lunch time which made for a hard time to find a park but we managed a Costanza park and made the most of a quick find, log sheet is wet. Thanks kenneth050881 for the hide and the chance to make this the quickest visit to a market ever.

Yep forgot the market was open today, no parking available.
But Happy Pants spotted one just in time.
After a short walk to Gz, the cache was ours. Now time for lunch.
Cheers for the cache

A quick easy find with Bulldog! The location was given away with unexpected spoilers. TFTC
TFTC. Have to be discreet in the area. Lots of cameras and muffles around. Cold winter find. Our first in Australia!
Found it! Muggle Heather and I were on a walking expedition around Sth Melbourne and Albert Park Lake. As we arrived at GZ just as another caching team were making their find! We lined up behind them and waited our turn. Some Muggles were locking up their bikes and we got chatting about the pro's and cons of different types of locks as the other were signing the log book and taking photos with the cache. After they replaced the cache it was our turn. I am not sure what the Muggle were thinking we were doing hanging around the bikes but they were friendly enough and didn't seem to notice plucking the cache from it's hiding place. Anyway, TFTC SL. Time for some lunch! Where are those Dim Sims??
In the area for Anzac weekend, so today was quiet with most people at the Anzac Day march so this was a quick find in a nice area.
Thanks kenneth050881 for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Great hiding spot. Happened to come on a market day so had to try a famous dim sum as I have live here for 5 years and not been to the markets before haha. TFTC.

Trust us to pick a market day for this one, but luckily found a parking spot right by the cache which was a quick find TFTC kenneth050881
Out and about with Echidna44 and au.fait, for a day a caching to celebrate a birthday. Thought we would try to clear out the Albert Park area. The weather great and of to a good start with this one. Echidna44 had already done this one so it was just down to the two of us. I had checked this one out before but at market time its a busy place. Not in the place I thought it was going to be. When will I learn not to assume. Quick find this time. Thanks for the cache kenneth050881 great place to shop
Took a bit to find. Nice hiding spot. Managed to find a small space on log. Thanks.
Quick find in between muggles while chatting to mansgirl about other matters.. While waiting for gift fair to open.. Tftc
Got to the GZ and the were numerous places you could hide a cavhe. After a little exploration it was actually my muggle husbands voice that quitely called out, here
it is!!!!
it is!!!!
Found OK after a visit to the market. Fortunately the cache is in a relatively quiet spot
Nice easy cache, though a few meters from gz. Good to pick up on a non market day!
What is there to do on a Friday night when your Geowife is at her work Christmas Party? Take the Geokid (Posho6) out to tidy up the Geomap. We placed 11 smilies on the map tonight. Each one a thorn in our side for one reason or another. A dinner in the city during the middle of our run put the icing on the cake.
TFTC!!!

Found this cache while out for a night hunt through the city with GeoDad, Bazinga01.

Yeah my 100th cache and an instant find! Place wasn't too busy late on a Saturday afternoon. The last cacher must have been tall - it was barely reachable. TFTC
Found after a short search before work I had not realised that it was a market day so there were a few muggles around. The cache was not where I expected to find it and it was a find while filling in time when muggles where nearby. Anyway I managed to retrieve the cache and move away to sign the log before replacing the container. TFTC

Today was my third day in Melbourne. Before I was 3 weeks in Sydney and have visited a friend of mine.
Here I had no problems to find the cache.

12th find for the day out of 16 heading back to the ship now. As I'm just visiting today on the explorer of the seas on a cruise from Fremantle to Sydney via the South Island of New Zealand. TFTC.
I am in town from Brisbane for the Melbourne Mega and was attempting to get 12 different cache types in a day. This was my traditional, I was very early and in a hurry so the markets weren't an option ,but I will definitely be checking them out before I go back home. TFTC!
Found It!
After a quick search I had the cache in hand. While I was signing the log, a security guard came along and asked if "this was mine?" as he picked a bit of rubbish up off the footpath. "Nope" I said, and he threw it in the nearby bin. Then he just stood there next to GZ while I had the cache signed and ready to replace. Eventually he wandered off and I stuck the cache back into it's hiding spot!

Stopped to pick up this one on the way home from work. Very convenient for tram 96! Was unable to sign the log, but will send photo evidence to owner. Tftc

Super hard, did this on a market day! Bad idea. After eyeing off the hiding spot for some time, with sneakiness we got there in the end.
Had a job only 106m away so grabbed it while here. sl Thanks Kenneth050881 for the cache.
Quick easy find

Found while dodging the heVy foot traffic in the area. Cache had dried out. No problem signing. Now for a dim sim
YAY - found it today while visiting the South Melbourne Market It's been many years since I've been to this market. I'd forgotten how much of a buzz there is. Thanks for setting this one up kenneth050881. A very pleasant trip down memory lane (and the dim sims are still yummy)
Found at 21:16 after eating at Claypots next door. GZ was a few metres away, but found quickly enough
Thanks kenneth050881

The final stop on my South Melbourne walk also proved to be the toughest owing to the heavy foot and vehicle traffic. I don't know why but I was not expecting it to be quite this busy around here. There was almost a permanent traffic jam! Having identified the cache, it was just a matter of waiting until the coast was clear to retrieve and replace it. My reward to myself for finding this was to make my way around the corner and line up for one the famous Dim Sims, steamed, with chili and soy sauce. Yum!
Thanks to kenneth050881 for a great cache.

TFTC Kenneth050881. Nice easy find. Great placement. Jimmytherat with Noelle04.
Our first cache! Hooray.
Thanks kenneth050881 for an afternoon with a touch of fun.
Thanks kenneth050881 for an afternoon with a touch of fun.
Thanks for the hide. Spent the morning around Saint Kilda shopping and finding caches. Took the tram up to the markets for lunch. Found the cache quickly without being spotted by muggles.
Decided to do this one at night without any muggle eyes around to hinder our search. Due to the lateness we certainly didn't have to worry about that tonight. We made the quick find and we were soon heading off for another cache.
Thanks kenneth050881 for the cache.

Less muggles at night but much harder to find without a torch.
Finding it was a steel.
Finding it was a steel.
A post dinner cache at (relatively) nearby restaurant "Hercules Morse" on Clarendon St - great food guaranteed! Also inducted a few newbies into the caching world! TFTC!
The market is so quiet on the Queens Birthday public holiday... Perfect setting for geocaching!
A nice walk by with a bit of a stretch before you can sign the log. A very high muggle area. TFTC.
We were over this part of town today to explore a bit more now that we are settled in. What an awesome market! So busy and full of great smells! Got some of the best ravioli from one of the places, cheeses, dips....the list kept going (seeing we just popped over for a quick look and coffee!!) the cache hide was pretty stealthy and was a stretch to get to. TFTC
This was supposedly my first find when I started geocaching. Had no luck. So I told myself I need to come back here to look for this cache and easy enough, I found it. It does help if you know what are you looking for
