Found while out on a Sunday drive, then went and enjoyed looking at some of the birds. Thanks for the cache.
Quick find on the way back to Melbourne. Log book seemed full so I left some extra bits of paper for future GCers
This was too easy thanks to the commenter who said EXACTLY where it is in the hint. Be better!
Found at 11:11 AM GAFF1.Continuing our trip back to Ararat and this was an interesting stop as the cache description was so fascinating with the folk lore of the local aborigines. However I wouldn't think that the word Maroona means pine trees as pine trees are not native Australian trees! This cache like the previous one was totally exposed and out in the open and ready to be picked up for being rubbish!Replaced it behind the post and placed some solid camo over it.Thanks to Makkas
Found 02/01/24. Tried to camouflage it a little more as I could see it from where I parked. Log book is pretty much full too.
Found it . Wasnt hidden very well could see container . Camouflaged it better . TFTC
Time for Mr. Lazy aka JTreeTrack2 to catch up on some logs. Sorry to the cache owners for the lag. I have enjoyed finding every cache I have found and appreciate all the effort that has gone in to placing and maintaining the caches. Hopefully I will find more caches and give a more timely and personalized logThanks again for placing the cache.
Out on a road trip from Ballarat and this was the next stop. Now heading down this road and pulled into the rest area/car park and took the short walk to GZ where the cache was soon spotted. Log signed, cache replaced and then off for the next one.
Thanks again Makkas....cache all good.

A quick find as I meandered my way home from the mega.

A quick stop here with the caravan on, I'm glad I hadn't read the hint as it no longer applies.
The cache is out of harms way of an flooding luckily.
Thanks for hiding this cache.

I decided to do a road trip along the Great Ocean Road this week. It’s been a long time since I travelled along this area and it was certainly before I was into caching! Having reached Warrnambool, I’m now making my way inland to head back towards Melbourne…. Via Beaufort and Ballarat .
This was a nice easy find.
Thanks Makkas for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

I found this cache on a caching adventure out west by myself. Testing out the new van to see how it goes as a camper.
Today I would start at Langi Ghiran state park, where I camped last night and drive via Apsley to camp at Baileys Rocks campground tonight.
One of the easiest cache finds ever. Could spot the hide location from the car. TFTC.

GeoW again made a prompt find, once GeoM made good use of co-ordinates and clus.
Interesting lake seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
Plenty of solitude for a bunyip.
Thx JJHHXX Find 27

It seems this year will be full of new happenings, including random another random weekend away with family. It's been years since we came here, and it's great to see so much water in the lake. TFTC
GT37 and I were both pleased to see water here although it appears to be quite shallow. We have seen a number of totally dry lakes/dams this trip. Thanks for the cache.
I had stayed at the lake last night and collected this one on the way out. Lots of possibilities if it had been a magnetic one.

Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks Makkas (F=91 H=9) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

After telling my boys no more caches since my youngest left his iPad behind at the last location and it got smashed I decided okay maybe a couple more on the way home. Nice spot. Went and checked out the swans on the lake too. TFTC
Country side looking great. Water in the lake. Stretch of the legs. Quick find. THTC TNLN
Just as the sky had started clearing after hours of rain and snow, the bunyip must have sneezed as we arrived at this spot: the rain came back with a vengeance! We made sure we did not overstay our welcome, though we did enjoy reading the stories shared on the cache page. Thank you!
Enjoyed a cool winter's afternoon caching our way in a loop south of Ararat. Never realised this lovely location was here. Enjoyed the stories on the cache page. Cache found easily in good condition. TFTC Makkas.
It isn't hunting season,
so all was quiet at Buninjon
A quick cache find was me reward here

The last Day in Millicent to clean up a few caches before Easter with BettyBoo3747.
Today we departed Millicent and headed to Ararat collecting caches along our route.
Interesting story of the lake (and stars).
Not much water around, so we just signed and departed.
Thanks, Robmc.

#17208. Today is a travelling day between Millicent and Ararat. Just picked up a few caches along the way. An interesting story of how Lake Buninjon came into being. A quick find and sign as we did not go further to look at the lake. I think it was rather low.
Thanks Makkas
Thanks Makkas
beautiful beautiful place to stop. smells bad, but great lookout. stopped for a solid 30 seconds to stare at it.
A quick easy find here after a summer day trip around the Western District. Thanks for placing!
Resorted to the hint to get us looking in the right pace rather then the 'obvious' ones.

Found the cache amongst rubbish meters away from it should be! Returned to GZ!

Char6a72 located the cache on the ground quite some distance away from where we believe it should have been. Put back in the obvious spot. TFTC.
First for the year! Quick stop on the way home from a seaside break in Portland. Cache in good order. TFTC
Day 2 of my latest road trip in Australia. This time 5 days around VIC with a 1 night/day stay in SA to regions I have not yet discovered. Today had me Starting in Ballarat and finishing in Naracoorte. A lot of great little towns and it was awesome seeing the Grampians up so close.
27 caches today incl 1 Wherigo.
#12 - A quick find here. Great views under blue skies today.
Thanks Makkas

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, an d if she had to die
Tryin' she had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' in the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night

An easy find today.
However the lingering smell of the previous cattle truck's occupants excrement now on the car and caravan have left a lasting (unwanted) memory.
A great spot to stop though

Found on a three day caching wander with AussieM&M!!!! We centred our searches in the Ararat area but ventured further afield when some of our planned caches were either disabled or on very slushy dirt roads. Very cold and plenty of rain ….. although we seemed to dodge the worse of it!!! Very muddy near GZ!!! Thanks Makkas for the hide!!
A quick park and grab here today as the rain was still threatening and there was a council worker nearby.

Cold, wet and windy weather was not a sufficient deterrent to keep us from a day's caching in and around Ararat today.
Fascinating cache notes - another story we would not have known if we were not geocachers.
Thanks 'Makkas' for this placement.

Found with the geo-crew after a day climbing Mount Abrupt and the way to a night in Ararat. The lake would be a good place to send a bit of time on a future trip. Great stories as well. A favourite from us!!Many thanks Makkas
Any spot with the name Jon in it can't be all that bad!
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake! [^]
Thanks to Makkas and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
