Parked up here today in the thick of traffic walked over and made a quick and easy find, cache is all good
Today we made our way down south to Goolwa for a couple of days for a family holiday. Along the way we stopped by a few caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache

I was meaning to do this one for a while now got to the location pretty bad to go beyond the bike lol it took me about 8 minutes before realising on map that it was in the middle of a tree good sneaky spot
Time for another Wednesday Wander for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group. We had worked on the numerous recent puzzles put out by Azzo7777 and were going to have an Azzo down south day! So I picked up Astro, Blackadders picked up S.A. Sewer Rats and we met at a Puzzle to cram into the Electric Blue Geo-jalopy and headed out for an Azzo Day! Plans are what you make before life happens and we may have spent too much time stopping at other caches before we actually made it to the planned caches. Anyhow - these are the ones we stopped at! [B)]
The number of times I have driven past this and thought I must stop and get that one day! Well today we were just down the road and so we stopped....just down the road. This meant a 700 metre walk to the cache. Once there I made a quick find.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks Hurtle for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

The usual Wednesday wanderings for the befuddled. The targets were the Azzo puzzles and any others that we went past. This difficult to get to hide was one of those. Thank you for the placement of the Lost Heritage #2 cache TeamHurtle find number 8409 on 1 September 2021 at 12:03 pm
It is that time of the week, when the befuddled geo animals go wandering.
The Adder collected the Rat, and the Starfish collected the Star gazer (Astro).
Have past this one so many times, saying next time we will have to stop.
Today we safely parked the geo mobile and took a stroll to GZ.
A quick find by the Starfish.
A day full of laughs, stories and caches. Tftc

Had been down this way only 3 days ago but when I realised there was a new AdLab out on the Coast to Vines Rail Trail knew I'd be coming back soon. Did the AdLab first and managed to find 10 physical caches on or close to the rail trail. Had a quick break back at the car then headed over to Woodcroft and found another 10 traditionals.
Thanks to Hurtle for putting out this cache for me to find.

A quick find that I've been wanting to do for ageeeeees! Too small for my TB so we're all the others today...
Today me and my dad went to find the caches around my area that I haven't found yet.
Thank you for maintaining and placing this cache!
We really appreciate your effort!

This one has been bugging me for awhile, I drive past it regularly... But I noticed the area had been mown and it was easily accessible for a change. A quick find.
Thanks
Thanks
Came back to collect the replacement container.
Despite a request in pm for Spaceinvader to return the the stolen cache to GZ for me to collect, he has not done so. Seems he has chosen to steal the cache rather than leave it at GZ as requested!
I have a picture of the cache container, so if it turns up as one of his hides, I shall be taking back my property...

This one has been gnawing me to stop and grab it after countless time passing it by due to parking issues.
Today, Tuesday the 15th of September 2020, that was rectified by parking off the road some 100m north of GZ [^]
Outta the GeoMobile, zoom up to GZ, quick find, SL at 09:48, jog back to GeoMobile and depart
Although i wasn't illegally parked i just wasn't comfortable with it [:o] so it was a slick find and sign indeed
All good, now onto the MultiCache that involves a Church & Graveyard some 1.5km south that i haven't got yet [^]
The cache and contents were ok but moisture munchers were added to keep the log book dry

I found the old cache under a prickled weed in log hollow as I accidentally dug then found the new replacement container I also removed swaps pencil and logbooks and put them in old container the previous container and I've got the new container because the old cache has been found and all logbooks swaps moved all to the previous container
sorry logged DNF (Did Not Find) for about a week ago for the time I did not find the cache needs achieve log now removed sorry
Please disregard the NA and NM logs of Spaceinvader.
I am at GZ, the tree is still in place, no signs whatsoever of any tree lopping, only a mower man been through and no-where near the GZ!!
I have replaced the cache for a newer version..

Thanks for the heads up Spaceinvader.
I will be the one who decides on archiving, not you.
Stick with the 'needs maintenance' to start with eh? And we will get along fine...

Have driven past this many times and now it was time to stop. A quick find in a likely spot. Quiet road today so soon in hand TFTC
After work this evening, I needed to pick up a package on South Road, and so decided to continue down south for a few required cache types, and spend some time geocaching around Huntfield Heights and Noarlunga Downs, including some walks around wetlands areas and the Onkaparinga Estuary. There are a few really nice areas that appear to be rarely visited, but at least geocaching helps to promote these treasured sights.
Wow the second lost heritage! I'm surprised to not see any additional history about this building since the cache placement back in 2012? It would be interesting to hear about this one. It is unfortunate about the graffiti, but at least it makes the building have a different feel/atmosphere to it. The cache hide was pretty good, and didn't take long to find. All in good shape. Thanks Hurtle for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance of this one.
I wonder what all this series of *Lost Heritage* caches look like, when plotted on a map? Perhaps the CO will consider making a list so their breadth can be seen, across the region/state?

Adelaide Trip Day 10. I headed down to Seaford to spend the day by the pool at my Sisters. As I was a bit early, I stopped In Hackam to try for a few caches. It was not completely successful, but I managed to locate some of them.
Thanks.

Owl's first caching expedition after sick leave, so lovely to share it with JJ52. They didn't get as far as planned, but still further than they expected. This is a cache Owl has driven past on numerous occasions, but never in the right position to grab it. Today was different and a long search unearthed a cache that is finally off her map.
Been hoping to stop and get this one for a while but there’s always cars zooming up behind me! Tonight we set out on a warm night hoping to reach 750 finds and this was a quick find after a short stroll from the safest parking spot I could see. Hadn’t been found for a fair while but it was still in good shape with no damage to the container or log book. Signed log and stashed it back it’s in spot. TFTC Hurtle. Find #748
Amazing how before caching nothing takes as long to drive to, but you discover caching and all quick trips take hours longer One of those days today,
A bit of solo caching today after a meeting down South.
Have driven past this one so many times, was good to finally stop and sign.
Thanks for the cache Hurtle

We also have driven past this 100's of times, stopped today and made a quick find. No TB to be seen. TFTC
This was our second cache attempt, couldn't find the first but found this. Thank you for trusting my phones gps!
With RopeNut while out on our Sunday caching day soaking in the sun rays. Ropenut found it with ease while I sat on a tree branches and had a party with the ants......tftc.
Found this one a while ago but forgot to log on here. Team ladybugs is in the cache log book though. Thanks for find
On a maint run so stopped here.
All good.
Gave the cache a new paint job at MattyCat's request too.

Headed down to the Southern Suburbs with CPwanderer...rain, wind & shine, warm & cool...all seasons in one today...
Finding a suitable parking spot nearby...we wandered to GZ...after a short search we had it in hand...
We may never know who lived here or what happened to make them leave... [?]

Easy find cool location tricky parking though make sure you park somewhere safe!
This cache has been one I have been meaning to stop and find ever since I started geocaching (which is not all that long ago, I must admit). But I do drive past here several times a week, so today I finally took the time to stop and find it. TNLNSL TFTC
Such a lovely autumn day so decided to head out and grab some caches. First stop was this cache. Have driven passed so many times looking at this old building. Nice quick find here. TFTC. And that puts an end to my day out - phone call from daughter to pick her up.. oh well maybe tomorrow. .

Not sure what's happening to this place. It's all fenced off and getting in worse condition year by year. I've been watching it deteriorating for a long time. It's now in an awkward spot, with the expressway intersection just a stones throw away.
Anyhows, TFTC

Cache lid was cracked and contents flooded. Cache needs replacing. Perhaps CO needs to finish off his current jar of peanut butter/vegemite.
Found It!
I found the cache cache with the lid sitting next to it. I looks like someone has realised the pen doesn't fit in the cache but instead of taking it out just decided to leave the lid off. The logbook was a bit damp but ok. I removed the pen and replaced the cache with the lid on!
I wonder how much longer until this area gets turned into a housing development...

Stopped and admired the old building and discover a cache while doing so. TFTC. 2/01/2016, 13:20 Find #1234
Headed out today to hide our next OTD instalment and grabbing caches as we went along, this one pops up every time we go past here, today we were able to grab it. TFTC
Stop stop look at that house.. Nearly drove past it but there was a nice trail right to Gz thanks for the find this was my 60th
Was stopping in old Noarlunga to get information for multis there and came up for this cache. Carparking is a pain in the arse.
Currently sitting down working out a multi and forgot to log this one,
Interesting little house that I have drove past numerous times and have never stopped to have a look at.

Stages to finding a cache: Step one ride bike to GZ, Step two fall of bike and narrowly avoid face planting on log. Step three, realize the cache is 4 inches from your nose and shout hooray!
We estimate between two vehicles x two full time jobs x overtime requirements, minus holiday leave, minus bugger all sick leave, since this cache was placed we have passed by over 1,000 times easily, taking into account shopping on weekends etc, geez Hurtle you have been a landmark even when we didn't know it, haha.
Stopped in after pre Christmas hair had been coloured in by lovely hairdresser for Mrs Kooka, area had been freshly mowed by council, we are guessing this gets done once a bloody year, usually grass is knee high and full of reptiles!!!!
Thanks Hurtle, nice cache, nice co ordinates and a Merry and safe Christmas to you and your loved ones, cheers. Kookacrew Signed the log and replaced safe and sound as found. Tnln. Chop, chop, ( we get it ). Xxxx
