We pulled up at the car park and walked to GZ the air was cold but the sun was nice as we took a seat and quickly put our mark in the book. TFTC
Merging my accounts. Found this as Hoterini 29/12/12. Now tracking together with Ambers007 and merging the old finds.
Spent the weekend around mansfield and did a heap of caching on the way home to the south and getting to mansfield.Perfect weather for the weekend too.Saw lots of great things and found some really cool caches. This series along the railtrail was a great idea for some car stops & short walks for us.TFTC
Second find while passing some time around Mansfield. Geokid left a heart shaped rock. TFTC
We decided to do a few of this series on our way past. A little stroll on a very windy day! We set off early to make our way from Rutherglen to Gembrook to help a family member move house. We've done this trip several times over the last few weeks and to make it seem less of a chore, we make sure we find a few caches along the way. Funny how a 3.5 hour trip quickly turns into 8 hrs.
Found while riding on the trail. Good little spot for a break does need a new logbook
We are visiting the area from South Gippsland for a few days of caching and exploring. Found quickly and all in good order. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
More contortions, more exercise great weather's out with tupiasmum having a ball. Enjoying the wildlife. Thankyou.
Found this afternoon on this beautiful day with Mrs deshut. I think we might need the physio card after the contortions we made here!! No appts on the card though. . Many thanks for the cache. Lovely to see a fairy wren family buzzing around.
Down from syd with my partner who is a muggle to caching. Great find. Paper may need replacing sorry I didn’t have any on me.
#3512 Fifth of nine physical finds on a day travelling from Mansfield to Melbourne. Found after a short search. TFTC
Not only did I find the hide I also found a massive spider that climbed up my arm and made me scream like an absolute child. The logbook is full but I managed to stamp it I don't have a spare one on me or else id pop it in the box thank you very much for the placement
It is a gorgeous afternoon. Late summer and the countryside is golden under the soft light of mid February.
The rail trail is just me and a bunch of great caches.
A quick find here as I near Mansfield.
Cheers

Geocaching while my daughter is a school camp @ lake nillahcootie. Parked the car at the road and took a short walk to GZ. Had to get the umbrella out as its wet and cold. Tftc.
The sun is out and the skies are blue. Birds are screaming. A nice quick find on a great cycle track.

Nice little walk, blue skies, good company and a cache found. Thanks Blatherskite and Eureka Gold.
Second Cache for the day as we cycled from Boonnie Doon to Mansfield and return on a sunny day just right for cycling.
Out with echidna44. We loved the cows that we passed on our way to the cache! Cache was in the obvious spot, but it took us a little while to figure that out! Thanks Blatherskite and Eureka Gold.
Bye bye Melbourne .. we drive to Albury for overnight then go back to sweet home at canberra ...
Found with 63ROOS. Tks

Quick and easy find. Fully expected to see the aforementioned spider and yep, out it jumped with the cache. Took a coin and left a pencil & 3 gemstones.
Another stop on the way to Benalla. All quiet near GZ apart from a few wrens. We searched a couple of spots before feeling and then retrieving the container. As I opened the contained there was movement and a large Huntsman spider dropped from the container and moved away a metre or so. I’m not sure who was more surprised! We stamped the log and replaced as found. Hopefully the spider will find a hide without becoming bird food! Thanks to Blatherskite and Eureka Gold for the cache.
As we continue our journey we made another rail trail find close to the road. Found the cache sitting nicely in its well presented position.
Thanks Blatherskite for the placement.

Find #4910
So excited to be attending my first MEGA and to be out and about after what seems like ages. Have been working very long hours for the past few months on the pandemic front so to have a few days for caching seems like an absolute luxury.
Great to meet new faces and to spend caching time with some familiar cachers as well.
Thanks to Blatherskite for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

Day 1 of my Mega journey, with plenty of sun and kilometres to cover to get myself up to Wangaratta.
Only seeing one snake today thank God over all the day was great, thanks for being a part of a great day.

With the rumour of a potentially new LGA challenge coming out I had only found 1 whole cache in this LGA zone so today we went for a drive to rectify that problem and mainly spent time parking near the rail trail and finding the rail trail caches like this one. We finished the area with a nice 4WD adventure into that big hill just sitting there.
Ewww, spider webs. Don't worry, I'm ok.
Thanks Blatherskite for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Thanks for another great cache that helps me qualify for a challenge that I am attempting to fulfill.
Time to head to Melbs to do some caring. The matriarch of our family has spent a lifetime looking after others and she’s of a fiercely independent generation. Anyway, happy to stop for a stretch at a few caches that haven’t seen the light of day for a month or so given we are mostly staying at home. TFTC - top hide!
Thanks for the cache. Spiders and cockroaches interesting addition. Dragonfly jm
Enroute to the Maindample Pub, hope it's open on a Monday. Thanks for the Cache
In Benalla for a few days and today we are heading out to Mansfield as it is a place I have never visited.
Thanks so much to all the COs who placed and maintain their caches in this area for us to enjoy finding.

Visiting the Benalla area for a few days on a geocaching trip, from Brisbane. Today was a much cooler day than yesterday when temperature was over 40c. Ventured around the countryside, towns and villages looking for caches. Thank you to all CO's for placing them in their locations. Cache found and log signed. TFTC
Nice stroll as it’s not too hot yet! Someone put a surprise in there that nearly gave me a heart attack!! Tftc
My old family member said look under the seat and I ignored her only to look under the seat and find it.
Heading from Melbourne to woolongong on my way to the mega and made a quick stop here to grab this cache. Nice quick find
Thanks Blatherskite and Eureka Gold for the cache.
Found at 11:43 am on 4/7/19.

Easy quick find on our way back from Bonnie Doon. At GZ, the cache was retrieved quickly and then we signed and replaced. Nice one. TFTC
Finally got to have a couple of days off so I headed up to Molesworth for a few days of R&R and caching.
After attending the dawn service at Boonie Doon it was time to try and complete this series heading to #1 at Mansfield.
Another great spot to park the Geocruiser and have a stroll along the rail trail.
A few cows where checking me out what I was doing at this time of the morning.
Thanks Blatherskite and Eureka Gold TFTC.

A quick find but freezing here atm
The cows are inquisitive and on their way down.
Cool - it’s great to see the local area through the eyes of a geocacher, it makes for an very interesting way to travel around Australia.
Seeing these interesting parts of a local area that shows the history, the memories of characters, and pioneers who lived and worked on the land.
We meandered over to GZ, found the cache, with signing duties done and dusted, we replaced the container as found.
Thanks for taking the time to create a cool cammo and place a cache here, it’s great to see more than a mint tin )

I've been following this rail trail, on and off for a couple of weeks now
And am still to ride an inch of it on the pushbike
I have enjoyed many short strolls,
and even a couple of drive by finds along its length.
Here was another short stroll from the nearest road crossing
And a well crafted cache hide was soon found [^]
Fave dance time !!

Another quick find on my way north, this I've was perfectly dry but covered in spiderwebs. Used a stick to get it out as I am not a fan on that particular type of wildlife. Signed the log, swapped a purple ring for a fish, and went on my way. TFTC!
A day trip geocaching into some of the amazing High Country that I had never been to before [^] Even better was that being higher, it was cooler than the 45 degrees or similar bloody hot temperatures expected in Shepparton [^]
dalerious, Rex and I took off late in the evening after seeing some new caches published only a few kilometers away
We made our first find at about 1am , another at 2am and another at 4am before finally getting to sleep[|)] (at 5am mind you) near Craig's Hut [^] and then got to explore it in the slightly later morning [^] Back finding caches just after 9am we continued on finding caches throughout the day [^] until our last find was made at 23:24 at Euroa on the way home[|)] [^]
All up there was 2 DNF's but 22 caches were found and there was 6 FTFs amongst them which were hidden in some gorgeous countryside [:X][^]
As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

Found with locus cache late in the day after a fun filled adventure chasing FTF caches in the high country.
We made time under torchlight to nab this cluster of 6 in this trail which we couldn't resist as we made our way home from the mountain.
Cache and contents found and returned in good condition.[8)]
Starting to see some sort of pattern here.
