We had a good look here today but this cache eluded us. It may be a while until we are back in the area but we will have another search then.
Sadly have to log this as a DNF. Phone was jumping all over the place and lots of debris here. Had a really good look but no luck. Awesome view though!

Being for a few hours on this rather beautiful bay with its tempting tracks, we decided to do a short round to smugglers bay and back

While waiting for friends to get scallops I thought why not see if there are any caches nearby to fill the time. A beautiful spot and an interesting seat. Tftc #90
Lovely day for geocaching! First one of the day, easy find and a lovely spot! TFTC 
I'm travelling around NZ for 7 weeks, using geocaching as my travel-planner. I was so lucky to be offered to stay overnight with thegreatauk and his mom, and that also meant that I could go crazy geocaching with thegreatauk. We had a big day today, we left the house at 6.45am and came back 10.45pm. We started off with the Tiger-caches, then we walked up to Mt Manaia and finished off with the SpotX. We had plans to go to Peach Cove and Eagle Rock as well, but we didn't have the time (or energy) for that. A great day with lots of beautiful scenery and caches.

TFTC, found it way too easily, it was spotted from the car as it was sitting ontop of the sticks, re-hid it underneath
The GPS was playing silly buggers today or I should say my phone. It wanted me to search in one area which I thought silly so I went with my geosense (which normal is nosense) and located the cache. Beautiful day today the water is like a mill pond. Thanks for the cache.

Found on departure. In a little while, we sat down on the bench to log in comfortably. The view of the refinery is not the nicest, but the sea is beautiful.

Nalezeno pri odjezdu. Na malou chvilku jsme posedeli na lavicce, abychom pohodlne zalogovali. Výhled na rafinérii není nejhezcí, ale more je krásné.

Stopped by while passing, when it had stopped raining, to look for this one. Had never noticed the names carved into the seat back before. A nice quick find in the obvious place, although I wasn't too sure to start with, just how fresh the fish head was. Luckily it was well aged and quite dry.

A caching trip out to Whangarei Heads today. Pulled over and admired the cute seat. Cache was a quick and easy find. TFTC
Too many people about first visit so had to come back later and then made an easy find All dry and in good order Tftc
Target for today was the Whangarei Heads, so we decided to go there via Mt Tiger Rd and return via Whangarei Heads Rd, which would increase the caching opportunities 
. Didn't all go to plan as we had to drive past some caches where parking was tricky.
After visiting Ocean Beach, we stopped in Urquharts Bay and found this cache before going on the walk to the gun emplacements. Quick find but forgot to look at the seat. TFTC.

I've just been up Mt Manaia with the crew so we enjoyed dipping our feet in here. The tide was out so the water was very shallow and warm. Saw some kids setting off in kayaks. What a safe place to learn to paddle. The cche was an easy find, thanks
Arrived to this little bay on high tide on a mid summers morning and it was STUNNING! Had a fantastic swim here in crystal clear water and stayed for a picnic. Thanks for bringing us here!

Nice quick find, our first one in the area whilst we stay at a nearby Bach. Had to wait for a muggle to depart but got it on our way back. No pen with us, will be back to SL
Staying up at Whangarei and visiting are the places that I visited some 50+ years ago. This is one such place. I had to use the cell phone for this as I hadn't loaded it on the GPS. But it was a straight forward find so all was well. The log book is EXTREMELY full. So tried to find a side. To write my name.thank you for this cache and another smiley face.
After having been away for work for the past week this is my second to last day away so thought I should make the most of it and grab a few caches after work as I'm working on a personal challenge for Earthcaches.
when Mrs Dragon and i went away last time our House sitters came from here (still have a house nearby) so thought that as they are away I'd get a photo for them as I was in the area.
Would be great to come back at some stage and get a closer look around the area and maybe a few more caches of course.

as we were out here it would have been rude not to pick this one up. A muggle was very close to GZ so I was very quick and quiet. T4tc
After hiking at Bream Head and Smuggler's Bay today, this cache was a nice park and grab on my way home again. TFTC!
