It was very well hidden. Good thing my partner has long arms! A lovely view. Perfect spot for a cache
First time in waihi, Beautiful spot for a hunt. I looked up after a long reach for the cache to see an amazing sunset over the beach.
Beautiful spot here, interesting to see the black sand- we have that at home on the West Coast.

Arrived this evening to camp for a few days. Walked out after dinner to check out the beach and find this cache. TFTC
Fun find whilst camping. Needed to kill some time with the kids and thought bet there’s a cache nearby! Miss 4 found after a short hunt and Mr 2 retrieved so mums stayed sand free TFTC
It was a spectacular evening with the full moon rising up out of the sea. Unfortunately though with the storm it meant we stood here watching the sea eat away at the dunes at the same time. TFTC
Found with Lucy. She got a sandy bum and I got a nice view of an end of the beach I’d never seen. Thanks!
Couldn’t log it didn’t have a pen . Had to look hard but found it at the end. Nice spot.

A good day for searching. Found the cache but no seals

No wasps either so that's a plus TFTCFirst trip in Philomena the Phoenix (caravan ). The cache was in a stone's throw from the pitch site. Sent the not so wee one anymore on a mission. TFTC.
Note to CO: I will be in this area this Sunday. Will seek this cache out. I assume you have taken note of the log regarding wasps. Are they still a threat? Your maintenance note doesn’t really address the issue. Cheers!
Had work carefully around this one as many muggles around had to wait for most of the day to pass to finally get the prize , nice hide TFTC
We found this one but were unable to sign it, because as soon as Mr Taylana reached out for the cache, he reveived three wasp stings! Turns out they were building a nest right by the cache, so we retreated to the car to get an ice pack. TFTC
There are wasps building a nest next to this cache. Mr Taylana got stung three times in about one second while trying to get the cache.
Suggest this one gets some maintenance work done to it before they sting someone who has allergies!

I came to Waihi Beach to check out this secret cycleway. Great to have some caches to find while enjoying the ride. This one was a bonus. Thanks for hiding willbuild
Bushes have grown up a bit, so hidden more from campground. Nice and dry after yesterday's downpour! Gorgeous views! Tftc
Found whilst on a quick getaway from Auckland. Decided to explore the bowentown area, and picked up this one as being the most accessible considering the muggles in my group. TFTC
Visiting from Auckland, staying at Waihi but a morning here. Great beach, just had to wait for the couple to leave the bench before going closer to GZ to make the find. TFTC
New to geocaching - Have walked over that board walk many times unaware of what was hidden!

Down here for some R&R with Mrs stik-a-crane whilst junior cacher was away at respite, and EIR-0T was tramping around Rangatoto for a DOE qualifyer.
Mrs stik-a-crane made the find here, thinking along the same lines of the CO.....luckily it was a quick find as many muggles were out enjoying the sunshine.

Yay found a nice place to drop off TB Honu(turtle) who wants to be by the ocean. Go safe my wee friend.
Didn’t have a pen, but left a few trinkets. Super fun find on our way to the beach.

Quickly found. As we arrived at the gz we was waiting for a family that were standing right on top to move on then snatched as we had a good idea where it was. Tftc.
