Another special Tk2 version of agony. Not the life todayActually checked another cache out and came back to this one and found it. Oh wow, even more trouble rehiring it. Cheers Tk2. At least no cacti were harmed here.
Tftc , this cache badly needs attention from the owner, it's not UV friendly, and has collapsed. with jeffner5556
What a wonderful game we play! We go to great places, meet fun people and learn things as we go. Whats not to like? All is good here
Groooan as I approached GZ. This hunt required scrambling over rocks, tripping on rocks and turning over rocks. Then I turned my focus to the shadier bush area. TftChallenge on this one. Not an easy one for me but found it in the end.
Took a bit to sift through all the rocks, but after searching all places we finally found it!
TFTC. Day 9 of honeymoon caching trip. Off on the road again!
Happy caching and safe travels!
Did we say how much we are starting to hate the piles and piles of rocks on YP??

The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group had us heading back once again to the upper Yorke Peninsular in search of solved puzzles and anything else we came across. Today it was myself, Blackadders and Astro meeting S.A. Sewer rats at the Rat's
nest By the end of the day we had traveled over 500 km's in search of pieces of Tupperware in the woods.
That is one big long SPOR. Luckily if you follow the GPS the cache is quite a quick find.
***Thanks Tk2 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

A lot of rocks and a lot of places but found it in the end
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

Found during a caching foray that included Cunliffe, Kadina, Wallaroo and a circuit out towards Bute while staying at Moonta Bay for a few days. Thanks for the cache Tk2!
Today I felt like going out for some New Years Day caching. Specifically the roads between Kadina and Bute.
A lot of rocks to look under here, eventually found it though, signed and returned.
Was a good hunt.

When we arrived at GZ we thought that we would be in for a potentially long search. However after a few minutes, the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Tk2 for the cache.
On a warm days riding with Desertfox41 and 2 younger riders/ helpers , had a long day, did 240 odd ks . TNLNSL Thanks
Left 9.30 am for a day out on Dirt Bikes with Demon41 and Steve F , Guy W Stopped and grabbed some Geos on the way , lunch at Kadina great day out about 250 kl travelled , TNLN Thanks
A day trip was planned with Trigger_Fish, AnyMules & Davidwazza to visit the Sad Fisher and some other caches scattered around the top of Yorke Peninsula and the Copper Coast...
It was a full day...getting picked up at 10:00am and arriving back at 11:50pm...
Searching amongst the rocks on this cold and wet night by torchlight...this cache took a bit of finding...it is always a nice feeling when the search for treasure is complete...

Today, the objective was *The Sad Fisher* series on the top of Yorke Peninsula. I first had a few hours to do some solo geocaching, visiting Port Arthur, Clinton and a few other points of interest on the top of Yorke Peninsula's hills. I then caught up with AnyMules, Trigger_Fish, and hevwalker, and we then spent the next 3.5 hr trying to keep motivation whilst power trailling the Sad Fisher. We then headed to Kadina for a late lunch and a few geocache visits, and then on to Wallaroo and nearby North Beach. As it got dark, we headed south-west for some 4WD along some beach tracks, and then back towards Kadina for a fast dinner. Willamulka was our final destination of the day (at least while I was with the group), before I returned back to my car at Kulpara, and made the late night drive home.
This cache took a while to find in amongst the rocks and SPORs. However after 5-10 min of searching around, hevwalker had made the find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Tk2 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found it Cache wasn’t in a container, only a snap bag which was not in the best condition so we put it in a Goulburg valley container for you, thanks for the adventure:)
On the way to Millicent Mega and detour and signed the log as EV and thanks for the cache and hide
Steep path, Rocks and Flies what more could we wish for. That's right a cache. Yes got it! Thanks for the cache
Rocks [xx(]. Our second rock cache of the day . But it could be worse - could have been a Big Bad Brad cache instead ! Fotunately, the area wasn't looking too snakey .
Looked around a bit and happened to find it by chance .
TNLNSL.
Thanks again Tk2.

Well! That took a bit longer than I thought it would! Two pair of eyes is better than one, as they say. Container contents are inside a plastic bag which is inside a plastic bag. I get the funny. TFTC
Found ….. after quite a search …… with LockChick and our geo puppies!!!!! More luck than skill here!!!
TFTC an easy find amid all the rocks lol however the bloody flies are enough to drive ya “CRAZY” time for the Aerogard!
A small menagerie of the puzzled puzzler animals had planned to visit the top end of the Yorke Peninsular to seek more smileys on their individual maps. Unfortunately the Starfish had injured his back the day before which left just the Adder and the Rat to fulfill the quest.
This took much longer than it should have with both the Rat and Adder heeding the hint, standing back and looking. Hmm that didn't work so we moved our viewing point, still no luck.
Back to the usual way of searching and widening the search area the hide was eventually found, yes between a rock and a ........

This is one of those caches where it pays to stand back and look carefully before scratching around. This method meant the cache was located quickly and duties were completed before we moved on to the next find. Thank you to Tk2 for this cache placement.
Out for a drive on a rainy day with Mr Froghoppin - except we managed to avoid the storms that were washing Adelaide away!
Yep, this helped in our fifty caches of the day

Out wit Mattycat for a days caching north of the severe weather hitting Adeliade today, surprisingly most of the day remained cloudy with the odd bit of mist allowing us dry caching conditions, nice green landscape and nice views, found in good condition, found in the first place we checked sometimes you just get lucky TFTC Tk2
A quick and easy drive by as we cache our way around the area today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
The cache container is no longer water proof as the hinge has broken. We placed a rubber band around the container and placed the complete unit into a zip lock bag
On this occassion, I am doing a generic log. I have travelled from Queensland to meet up with Muff1 for a Geocaching extravaganza on the beautiful Yorke Peninsular.
Our goal to Cache, Cache and Cache. Each day our "finds" have been growing in number, some days more productive then others. Repairs and replacement of broken containers, new log books and adding a new plastic bag here and there have all been part of the fun we have been having.
We have also been careful to take time to appreciate the natural wonder of the areas we have visited. The variety of caches was interesting, some very clever, some the quick grab they were designed to be.
My sincere thanks to Muff1 for providing me with the opportunity to join them on this geocaching holiday.
A big thank you to all of the dedicated Cache placers who have made this possible.

We arrived near gz and the general comment from both Speedmistress and ourselves was "which one". Thanks to very good co-ords it was quickly established which one was the correct 'one'.
First we must appologise for the generic logs.
We came to Yorke Peninsular with Speedmistress who hails from Queensland to cache our little hearts out and this we are doing.
We solved loads of puzzles prior to coming and with all the earth, multi, trads and puzzles there are here we were never lacking in variety.
When we found caches that needed repair we have done our best to do what was possible, unfortunately we have now rum out of spare containers, so no more repairs can be done. We have enjoyed the scenery, the walks, the animal life and the challenges that was encountered while traveling the Peninsular. Not all the caches have been attempted due to time restraints but those have been earmarked for future visits.
We also would like to thank Speedmistress for supplying our geocaching chariot.
A huge thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for us to enjoy.

The long weekend presented the perfect opportunity for my wige (Tounga) and I to plan a quick get away.
So, we booked some accommodation in Moonta and decided to cache the upper Yorke Peninsula.
We had a great time, finding 129 geocaches in all.
Thanks for hinding your cache Tk2, we enjoyed it.
I apologise for the generic log.

Hi there Tk2.
We found your cache **"Another day in the life of a Geocacher"** at 8:40:00 AM today.
This was our 8th find for the day and this makes our find count 12986.
Our cache run today was initially to finish off the Pyramid. After that our next goal was to log our 13,000th find - - - so we navigated from cache to cache to the one the GPS said was next closest etc. On the way home our mental arithmetic said that we were one short so we did what Bruce (of Liz & Bruce) would say - - "Just one more lovey!" & ended up with 22 finds & 0 DNFs at the end of the run.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The hinge on the container is broken, and will not seal.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Oh man!!!! This one was torture!! Especially coz we did it in the dark. Woke a sleepy lizard on the find!! So fun.
Ohh. That is nasty. Nasty with a capital N. Found and signed the log.

So how many snakes have I seen in the last week of driving around the midnorth ??
At least twenty !! [:o]
So like the last finder of this cache I wandered into GZ with an expectation of something slithering off into the long grass ahead of me
It does help if you stomp around a lot
And after a bit of digging around a cache appeared

Oh how I love these hiding places, especially on a warm day at the beginning of summer, at least we found it!!
Day four with Alansee and Micaparamedic we were now based in Wallaroo for another three days of caching fun
We have done a caching streak and know just how hard it is to get a cache a day after the first easily local caches have gone.
We all shuddered when we pulled up and saw where the GPSr was pointing, these hides can be extremely difficult at times.
Today with excellent co-ords it was just the opposite and the cache was located in the second place we looked and our initials are now in the log.
To save room in the logs we signed as M.A.C.( Micaparamedic Alansee and Team Crackers).
Thanks for the cache
On a caching assault of the Yorke Peninsular with alansee and Team Crackers over the last six days. We have found many caches which have proven enjoyable and sometimes challenging Alansee had worked diligently in planning routes we would take to minimize wasted kilometres driven to find the numbers we have been able to do. Most logs have been signed as MAC (micaparamedic, alansee and crackers)
Many thanks Tk2 for placing this cache .

Today we are heading to the copper triangle to do some caches with earthlight and the x trailers, we managed around 120 caches over the 2 days we spent here and we saw some fantastic scenery along the way, being the geowifes early childhood stomping grounds i was treated to a lot of history about quite a few of the areas and how much things have changed over time, this is day 1 and as we head out in the x trailers geomobile we start crossing of a few that are on the to do list, this one was a nice quick find. Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today was set aside for touring Moonta and Wallaroo. Well we had a long list and after a sleep in and problems loading the GPSr had us not even starting till 0900hrs.
We had a great day and saw lots of historic places and learnt lots about the area. The list was only just started and we never left Moonta till after dark so Wallaroo will have to be tomorrow.
Quick find here.
