Found this one tonight with xo^8. Probably about time to call time on this hide - it's there but clearly it's never going to get any kind of love... It really is just half a mint tin and some pulp inside that keeps getting added to.

Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

A quick find in another lovely spot.
Was enjoying a roll of quality maintained caches, but then I came to this one.
Needs maintenance.
Thanks for bringing me here.

There were several people about today when I pulled in here. I parked up casually and wandered up and over to the cache. It was quite visible in the tree, but no one will see it. Then I looked up as I was signing in and a doggie was watching me, I wondered where he came from! It was friendly though.
Here for my daughters wedding so while girls having makeup and hair done time for me to find a cache or two

Nice cache to pick off on our way from apartments into town on our one night stop over. This is our furthest cache from home - 11457 miles from UK
Found it! A nearby tree has a nest at the base of the trunk - nature’s decoy! tFTC
On our 39th day in New Zealand we stayed around Whitianga and it's lovely beaches. Besides enjoying the sea we also looked for some caches.
The start into the geocaching day was hard with 4 DNF's but suddenly we found one box after another. Also this one was a rather quick find.
TFTC and greetings from Switzerland

Nochmals ein heisser Tag. Wir fuhren den Strand entlang und pickten einige Caches aus ihrem Versteck.
Mit einem kleinen Umweg erreichten wir den GZ. Beim richtigen Baum lag auch der Cache vor uns. TFTC

Good little find while visiting whitianga. The lid of the cache was missing though and lots of bugs inside.

Nice walk on a windy day. Found it after a short search. Needs a new log sheet. TFTC
In glorious spring weather found it here.
Too bad that the pohutukawa is not yet blooming.
Greetings from Berlin

Just collecting a couple of caches to make it to 2000 before we head home from a weekend away. Lovely beach here, TFTC
Got this on the way up to Whangapoua, after spending the night in Whitianga. Nice easy find, although easy to veer off course and in to the private property! Didn't have a pen, but happy to send a photo of the cache if requested by CO. TFTC, greetings from Auckland.
Nice quick find. The day had cleared up splendidly and we were having a beach walk. TFTC
Maybe the coordinates are off or I really couldn't find it.

Enjoying a weekend visit to Whitianga and cycling around the area grabbing a few caches. GZ bounced a bit but eventually got there. TFTC
Auf einem netten Strandspaziergang entdeckt.

Nice easy find after taking the walkway and spotting a track off leading towards the beach. TFTC #cachelife
Had for some evening caching and there was no here when we visited so it was a nice quick find. TFTC
Out biking and collecting a few cache along this stretch of beach ..wonderful spot ...great placement...great cache thanks Surfa5
Would never have known this spot existed if it hadn't been for this cache placement. Took the scenic bike ride in and the easier roadway out. Thanks for bringing us here G-2.
Thought this was going to be a bit difficult to find but got there in the end. Well hidden cache, thanks.
Lots of young Pohutukawas here. Log was wet so we put some waterproof paper in (parking ticket from Auckland haha) Tftc!
Even after I had the right tree it was still well hidden. Log was a bit damp and falling apart so added a piece of paper we had in the car.
Decided to come away for the weekend and after our boat trip we had an hour or two spare before we needed to head back so decided to collect some caches.an easy find in a lovely place.log is a bit damp.
We stayed in Whitianga for a few days up at Wharekaho beach - you couldn't find a more beautiful spot for a mid winter escape. Had a lovely walk down to this cache and hunted around for a couple of minutes until I found it. Thanks so much for the cache!
This took a lot longer to find as my phone app had a mental and lost direction, out with the trusty Magallen and once signal was established, success. TFTC.
Ich hatte mich zuerst auf die große Dose meiner Vorgängerinnen konzentriert. Gefunden habe ich aber eine kleine. Thanks.
Today we made an evening walk in combination with geocaching. We found the caches en walked back over the beach.

Parked on the road but discovered a driveway that would have been far more suitable. Easy find as the coordinates were perfect. A party going on nearby but we were well screened. TFTC
183 Took two attempts to get this cache. Took kids for a morning walk. I have no data but thought as seeing as they have found this cache with their gran earlier in the year they would know roughly where it was. No such luck. Came back the next day with mum who knew roughly where it was. TFTC
Found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward hint. A little exposed but we tucked it away nicely Cheers surf5a TFTC.
We found a cache here, but not the one in July's photos. Guessing it was the replacement? Anyway thanks for the cache!!!
Checked all surrounding hint items without luck. Trees have been pruned so perhaps cache was muggled. Had a spare container so left that as a replacement till CO can check out GZ. TFTC
Did not find - trees have been freshly pruned so not sure if moved - or if we are just blind!
