We didn't have long. Been cycling and off to see the show Annie tonight but had to see if we could find quickly. I see it hasn't been found since October last year so may not be there. A storm came through Auckland on Monday and lots of branches down where the cache may be.
Had a good rummage through this dog poo infested area, also to no avail.

Spent about 20 mins to no avail. Given time since last find, either difficulty is too low or it has gone!
My GPS was stuffing up so we ended up wandering around not knowing where to look. We will come back another day hopefully with more luck

Find 10 of 10 for the day and #1530 in total.
Echo found this one by the noise it made when it moved, otherwise I don't think we wound have found it.
Echo 7 - Spice 3
("\(0o0)/") Thanks for the caching fun!

Cool little walkway. We have searched for this one before but couldn't find it. This time we found it more easily. Thanks.
Arrived at GZ and tried to find this cache. GPS signal all over the place so just had to hang around for a bit till it settled. But after the big rain that had moved on over, out came all the muggles and canines for their walk, so GZ was just impossible to search. Walked on to do the multi nearby and came back to it later. A more settled signal second time and was only a few seconds before making the find. Just had to be very careful where one stepped, a few canine deposits to avoid...

Think I was lucky to find so qwikly-looked like someone had done a major search previously-tftc
Very tricky hiding! I looked at it before my run but couldn't find it, came back again after my run and this time read one of the log which gave me a hint... Still took me a while after that, I used stretching exercise to avoid detection TFTC
That was insane to find! I can't believe it is still there and hasn't been whisked away by furry friends. Very satisfying after looking for at least 20 mins.
This one truely had us stumped! After a good 10 minutes or so of looking Furbies soon shouted out "found it" and we moved on. Clever hide!!
Ahh, the camo master, GPS was a bit all over the place with all the tree cover, but some perseverance and we found it. TFTC.
Finally found it. This will be the third visit to this site, and I was determined to give it one more go. I'm glad that I did, because this one is finally ticked off the list of dnf's.
I love those 2 bug caches. This turned out to be an easy find as well, I must be getting the hang of this geo-cache-thingee. Thanks.
Tricky hide and find on our cycling tour to Takapuna and Lake Pupuke. And yes, we took the mentioned bike trail from Devonport - it was great and we'll be back for more caches and for getting more of the scenery.
Thanks for the fun!
Thanks for the fun!
Really enjoying the challenge of all your caches in the area. Visited with TuisReturn TFTC
This little piggy sure gets around as I keep coming across him all over the place, often in place with great views, so therefore its great to follow in piggy's footsteps, TFTC
Well camoed wee cache which took a bit to find in this environment but we were successful. The tweezers were a great help.

Having found some bugs in a previous expedition this time it was a pig hunting trip, well one anyway, found the cache and had a chuckle at one of the previous logs about 4 legged thieves taking off with the cache container, I can see our dogs doing that too, lucky for this cache they were in the van for this one.

Parked next to this cache yesterday to do Geobugs 1. I didn't realise there was a cache just there until I got home. Turns out the cache icon was hidden under the parking icon on my GPS unit. It all felt like unfinished business so headed back today to make a find. Lots of potential hidding spots/styles here so I tried to focus my mind on "What would Glyn do?" Must have worked because I made a relatively quick find--albeit on the second pass. Log was tricky to extract and in my exuberance I dropped the log into the leaf matter...Awkward...Luckily, I was able to refind the log after a couple of minutes of careful sifting. Cheers for the cache placment!
Found fairly quick. Lucky I guess. The log was hard to extract from the nano cache. TFTC

What an evil nano! Had to do a systematic grid search for 10 min to finally have the cache in my hand.
On third attempt, found it. But took a dual approach with Scarlett Manuka to do it. not a good one for night missions.
Tough camo, but satisfying when found.

Ever had the cache container stolen while you where filling in the log? Well that's what happened to me.
I was sitting on the path filling in the log when a family came by. The fury family member took a liking to the cache container and took off with it! I had to retrieve it from rover (who put up some fight) and explain Geocacheing 101 to them. How many other caches have been muggled by the 4 legged thieves.

Little Miss Piggy was trying to find bugs and managed to attach the only doggy do in the area to her foot, yuk yuk and still not spied the elusive wee cache. So Little Miss Piggy removed herself from the area cleaned up her shoe and paced up and down aways thinking this one out. Little Miss Piggy re-read some of the logs and think she may have cracked it and sure enough keeping her shoes doggy do free, she found the cache. Very clever placement. Oh no - Little Miss Piggy forgot her tweezers, oh no what to do. Little Miss Piggy finally found something suitable to help extract the log. Little Miss Piggy will be back with Mr Piggy and their brand new bikes, to ride this trail. Nice spot, thanks for showing. SL. TFTC.
This was my second time here trying to locate this one. After a PAF I still had a bit of trouble. Was quite glad when I spied it.
Cheers for the cache.

Was looking for a much bigger container, needed a PAF, and once I was sorted on the container size, it was a quick find.

We hunted around then stood and had a think about things... then it was straight to it like a Golden Retriever! t4tc
It's been a few months since we have been caching and just realised we never logged this one.

Had to PAF as the discription of the Geocache container was over exaggerated.

Second attempt. No wonder I didn't spot it last time late in the evening with just a headtorch. Nice camo. Certainly found it easier to find during the day-time. TFTC.
Having been to visit a new nephew, took hubby for a walk to find the bugs, unfortunatley I think Piggy managed to get one (well a muggle has anyway). Fortunatley this piggy was handy, to be able to cross another day of the calendar. Missed the cache the 1st time I handled it, but after disgarding all other possible sites, realised what i'd missed. Hubby shoe'd away the mozzies while I signed (he does have his uses). TFTC
Really enjoyed this cache. It wouldn't have been that long ago that I would never have been able to find it even if in the lookout for a Glyn camo job. Was on a run with the family 2 of which aren't cachers but one of which is always a great help. Agree that geobugs is a wonderful multi. Thanks for the cache! A couple of mossie bites to show for it.
8909 There were squeals of delight from our southern visitor when we uncovered this one... after all we didn't want him bugged by a DNF. Nice hide, TFTC.
Piggies and bugs, not to mention the mozzies. Nicely hidden cache and our instinct must of been spot on today as it was the first place we looked. Nicely done camo and a nice area to walk, run, ride the bike or take the dog for a walk. TFTC
Made sure I didn't show up the hosts here. Yeah right.
A dog walking muggle was a bit concerned about two grown men standing in the bushes. Once I explained I was from Nelson she immediately lost interest and the geocaching continued. Another nice hide. TFTC.

Decided to look for the Piggy that Goes after the Bugs tonight. Had read the logs of those who had failed to find it on the first night, so were not too hopeful of a quick find here. Much to our surprise it was spotted fairly fast after narrowing down the search area. Very nice hide, thanks.

In the area today after visiting a client and I knew this was very close by, (and fixing up mine just down the road ) so just had to do it today. In between the dark clouds clapping today which was right over me.... Cache was found. Very very cool camo! Thanks again for the adventures and fun!
We went back for a second attempt sat this cache this evening and even bought along our Geopuppy to sniff out the hidden container. After another good search and slapping away the monsterous mozzies mar spotted something that was worth investigating. Yes it was what we were looking for. Great little hide. TFTC.
very well hid and even checked it several times!! almost gave up but found it in the end
FTF - Yeaha! Only saw this one come through this morning & thought I would give it a go. I had to cross the ragging river the council guy had made with the water mains then I spent ages looking. After a while I stood back & thought where would I hide it? And whoala! Soon had the cache in hand.
What a beautiful day:)
Don't forget your tweezers! TFTC

We were not long in the door from an earlier FTF when this notification came through. Even though it was 10.30 at night, this was too close not to attempt another FTF. Arrived at GZ with low batteries in both the GPS and the torch but were able to have a good search around GZ before they died. We checked on Google and this confirmed we were in the right spot. A gentleman out for an evening walk enquired as to why we were searching in the bushes at this time of night so we explained all about Geocaching to which he replied that he had nothing better to do so assisted us in the search. Alas, appears Glyn's hide was too good for us tonight. DNF. We will be back for a further search in the day light. TFTC
