TFTC themd! Cache was in good condition, and after a day full of caching, this was our final one. Was a bit concerned as the cars thumped above us, and the moths living in the cache were a bit scary as they flew out at us, but we knew what we were looking for. Made a whoopsie trying to get to it, however, as we went down to the embankment, but quickly realised our mistake and went back up to retrieve the cache.
With dot558 on journey back from lara to report for grandchildren dutiesThanks for the smile
It didnt take us too long to navigate our way toThis cache. There were 4 bridges to be seen at this location. We decided that there would have to be a heritage overlay on the railway bridge.History on that bridge would be interesting.TFTC
We took a stroll along the river while our doggo was at the groomers. Our approach was a little off and we had to climb up the hill after getting wet feet. Then climbed to the cache again and found it in the second place I looked. Nice to get a different perspective of the highway. Thanks.
Riding my bike around Werribee, picking up caches and litter. This cache must be cursed. I got whacked in the head and knocked off my bike by a bird (presumably a magpie) only 200m from GZ, then got a phone call while writing this log, during which I nearly stood on a tiger snake.Nonetheless, thanks for the cache!
I have spent quite a bit of time caching around Werribee, but seemed to skirt around this one. I walked the long walk from town and found the cache exactly where I expected to be.
TFTC. Bit mucky today. Don’t reach around with your hands as there are needles about. You shouldnt need to though.
Nice spot, forgot to take out a pen with me. Will have to come back and sign it. TFTC
Came for a look previous evening, but some dodgy looking muggles about.
Found on an early ride into Werribee River Park. Sunday morning light traffic made for a quieter find. TFTC

Nice find but lots of broken glass and litter around. The first time we came here there were some shady people with their car (even though it’s walking access only) so we left. Still a dodgy area and saw another car down the footpath. Just don’t feel safe here.
Easy find! Nice ride on the way in. Must have dropped the pen on the way here, will come back and sign log another day. TFTC
My geocacher friend did the actual hand on cache for this one while I watched...
What a good Friday to find a cache on Good Friday. Thanks for the cache and the challenge.
Took the longest way up! Great walk and find! Thank you!!! Kel and Charlie 2.4.20
Bit tough in thongs. Took us a while, but eventually found it, just as the hint described.
Found this one with my bestie, lots of noise over head! Added some trade marks. Tftc
Took a while to find this cache. Not sure what the clue means. Placed back where we found it after signing the mini not pad.

Down in Werribee visiting sharkiefan and after a long day it was time for a quick grab before tea.
it was a little rough on the ankles on the way up to grab this one but we made a quick grab when we got closer to GZ

Day 224
I was out on my bike today and therefore wearing my cycling shoes. These were not the most appropriate footwear for this hide, a fact I only realised as I tried to come back down!
Found after dropping the car off for a service and taking the geo-pup for a walk along the river.
Came up the 4WD track option which wasn’t ideal. Found the cache, but forgot to bring a pen so we scratched our name into the paper with a nearby stone. TFTC

A slow meander around the Werribee area with ilook4geo was the order of the day, finding some caches not looked for previously. After thinking about this one and approaching it from the correct angle, the container was quickly spotted and retrieved. No one was around at the time, so it was easy. All was done to keep everything in order and the cache was placed back into position before we headed off again to continue the hunt. Thanks themd for bringing us here by the river and for placing this cache.
Went out on a caching trip around Werribee area today with goingplaces2. Found what we wanted and signed each log. Enjoyed the walk to this one and managed a fairly quick find. TFTC.
I was out caching with my sister and Crusty K9 today. After attending a nearby event, we continued and found this one. Tftc themd.
Another visit without the scaffold, but again no find, also the cars and trucks hitting a spot on top surface make a scary sound
Had this one on the radar for a while now. Nice ride out to GZ on the bike path after scouting a location for my next hide. My cycling shoes didn't provide much grip but the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for the cache. Enjoyed listening to the cars above.
On my way down to Geelong to visit a mate in hospital, stopped at parking area, and made the walk into cache area, but as previous searcher has mentioned, full of scaffolding and workmen all over the place, so beat a hasty retreat, hoping to make the find when the workers have finished doing their work
I attempted this cache today, only to find I was not the only bridge troll around. The bridge is being strengthened from below, and there were a lot of tradies around that didn’t like me hanging around their toolbox (which was near where I think the cache is). Being a tradie myself, I decided to leave to give them peace of mind with the worksite. They don’t seem to be working where I assume the cache is, so it should be fine, but I would suggest that future finders leave this one until later in the day. Thanks anyway, and I’ll be back another time!
16:54, May 12, 2018, # 674, after passing over for many yrs it was time to find this one... a wet path made it a bit slippery but once I found the correct access path I got to GZ.. the search didn't take long but a few muggles out for their walk made it a very interesting retrieval.. log signed and cach replaced..CO might need to check this as the lid fell off in my hand but I managed to replace it temporarily. TFTC.
Found during our honeymoon trip. Almost 1 month driving through Australian country.
It was an amazing trip.
Thanks for this cache

This cache has bugged me in the past as we travel to Geelong fairly often and we always drive over it but can not stop to find it, so today, before heading to the Werribee event I decided that one and for all I would go and finally cross this one off the list.
I parked close by and made a short walk to GZ, it was interesting or a bit scary listening to the cars and the trucks pass over head, once at GZ it was only a short search before the log was signed.
**Thanks to themd for placing this cache.**

TFTF cache is in fair condition but lid has started to detach and some log pages partly torn out from wear and tear (pun). Nice hide. Fun to find. Mooka!

A quick find here today although I left the pen with the GPS on the track so I had to throw the cache down to my partner who signed and then threw it back up. The lid has come astray from the cache but can still be used. A little TLC might be warranted at this location.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this cache here today.

Found It!
Interesting spot - the old aqueduct nearby is fascinating! After a bit of wandering around I spotted the cache!

Cool spot for a cache. It is amazing how the wildlife adapts to the structures we build, however I don't think that the swallows were happy to have me there.
After a DNF here quite some time ago I was paying another visit. This time it was a quick find in a spot I am sure that I searched before! Such is caching.
Found finally
Yay
Somewhat fixed lid... But needs maintenance asap!!
Great views tho TFTC!!!!!

Found on a cold Friday am. Lid of cache container missing and the white-tail spider that fell out of the tin might have been a bit miffed. I quite enjoyed the clicking sounds made by the cars and trucks overhead. Managed to drop my phone ALL the way down the embankment but it was ok thank goodness. TFTC
Found while out for a quick trip with MrsBlackDuck. Good cache for an overdue pregnant woman. Cars overhead gave me a bit of a fright the first time they went over!!
I caught the train from Altona to Werribee for a specific mission, to ride into Werribee River Park.
Got a bit lost which path would take me under to the other side of the freeway.
This path was my first choice, but if I followed it I would be on my way to Geelong, eek!
So found this cache in the likely spot, did the deed of signing, went to close it up and the lid fell right off! I couldn't get it to stay on sorry themd, I wasn't prepared with a replacement container...

I drove to work instead of catching the train today so on the way home I was able to stop to pick up this. Silly me didn't study the paths well so as usual I the most difficult way in to GZ down by the very green rivers edge. Found the cache easy enough but extracting the log proved more challenging. Signed the log eventually and returned everything as was found. TFTC
Third time lucky trying to find the right approach. Once we did it was a straightforward find. Interesting to see the old and new structures - they don't build them like they used to. Thanks!
A simple.enough hide that took longer to get the log out than to find. As it turned out a piece of history at this cache as well. TFTC
On a bike ride with a muggle friend who tolerates my addiction. I went straight to this hide, albeit carefully with cleats on my shoes. All good, thanks themd!
Straight forward find, constant noise. Nicely placed with a short easy walk in. T4TC
This cache proved to be a challenge for us mature cachers but fortunately Geohubby was up to the challenge and soon the cache was in hand, log signed and cache replaced. The "Power" level was deafening this am!
Can't imagine how many workers and bricks it took to build the old bridge and can imagine how much faster it would have been to build the new one.- not sure about being cheaper though?? Interesting to see how they tried to repair a long large crack in the side of the old bridge but crack still there!
TFTC themd and for bringing us here to compare the old with the new - a very interesting contrast in many ways!

Found this today with Posho6. Great to tick this one off our Western Suburbs finds. Last attempt was thwarted by Tiger snakes.
