Found the rain gauge but it looks like the flood has filled the twisty cap with grit. You can't open it.
I cache your reality and substitute my own! TFTC.
Unfortunately the top is still stuck hard. Will write in log once fixed.

Great cache, though I had no hope of opening it...had the 17yo brat boy in tow though, and he proved his worth by struggling with it for a good 15 mins...success, it is now back in action, though he thinks you now owe him one...had jammed up due to the floods and the log book is also a tad soggy I'm afraid, but still usable.
Many thanks Redrover 09 from the Wacky one

Didn't have much light to do this in but Mrs kevosaurusrex quickly spotted the GZ and then the container and left Mr kevosaurusrex to make it rain!! A fun cache but the log is very wet!!! TFTC
This was my 150th find, and it was a pleasure to have a cache that was a little bit different to complete that milestone. TFTC Redrover 09 / choppersrule. I had put 2 and 2 together and in spite of the drought I found enough rain to complete log signing duties!
Careful of blackberries grabbing you.
Nice container and surroundings.
Thanks Redrover 09

We arrived ready for the main task and easily released the little container. Releasing the log was a little harder without the right tool. Thanks Redrover 09.
I came past armed with my tools and saw the cache easily enough. Used my tool and got the cache. SL and replaced. TFTC.
Lots of water laying in large puddles as we walked along to gz. Cache retrieved quickly. Thanks Redrover 09 now adopted by Choppersrule.
The hint was indeed most useful! And oddly enough, the second of these type I've done today, so it was sheer luck I had sufficient remaining. Mind you, there was so much along the track that i'm sure we would've sorted something out! Cache location was found quickly enough, but a muggle who had just passed turned around at the end of the trail and passed us as we were signing, no idea what he thought. Anyway, teamwork had the cache in hand quickly and safely. TFTC, Redrover 09 now adopted by Choppersrule. =^.^=
Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!
Headed out from Loira to find some more caches on the Eastern side of the Tamar river and into Launceston.
Beautiful in the sun but when it ducked behind the clouds a bit cool.
Found your cache to help us with our exploration of the area. [^]
Always love finding caches that require a bit of thought.

Found together with LouiseAnn and sharkiefan on our third day in Tasmania for the long weekend.
The cache was quickly located and the mechanism to get to the cache wad not too hard to understand. After some mugglers had passed by we got our names signed into the log before we were off to the next location.
Thanks for the cool cache Redrover 09!
We had a great stay in Tasmania combining caching and sightseeing and got to try lots of excellent local products and see some lovely places.

Found with LouiseAnn and Ostara74. Wow there's a lot of blackberries here. Some were ripe so I ate some. The lid was stuck on but we got it off. Tftc
We picked this cache up at 2:17pm. I love these types of caches. We parked nearby and strolled over to the cache. There were some passing fisherman, but after they left, we were able to retrieve the cache! The lid was a very tight fit.
Sharkiefan had the idea of heading to Tasmania for the Australia Day long weekend and invited me and Ostara74 along. We based ourselves in Launceston and did trips around the area from there. We had a great time, so thanks to all the cache placers and to Launceston and Tassie for putting on some great weather, we had a fantastic time! Thanks for the cache Redrover 09.

I had a chance to sneak out for a small amount of time and so chose a cache to find that I needed for a challenge cache. This one worked for me and I had an idea of what would be required when I found it Sure enough, when I arrived at GZ, it was exactly what I had imagined. I have come across a few of these types now, always a bit of fun
I used the rain I had collected from a tap and hey presto, the little beasty was in hand. After signing the log I replaced the cache as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache Redrover 09 Cool cache!

Thank you Choppers Rule for putting this back into Action all ready to go again
After attending the Event today it was time for a caching run! This was our 2nd "cool" cache in a row. The kids loved the concept and there was nearly a fight over who was going to do it - time for another "sharing" lesson. Problem sorted, fight averted, cache retrieved, log signed (took a bit of getting out) back in place, job done! TFTC Redrover09 and now choppersrule.
Geohubby and I did a 20km bike ride on a beautiful day to obtain this cache. Unfortunately, I wasted his emergency water supply attempting to retrieve the cache by missing it on the first attempt. Thank you to the LCC for drink water stations around the town and to the CO for a unique cache.
I really enjoyed this one - even though it's not quite working as it should!? Still, I was "equipped" with the requisite liquid anyway. A nice concept cache thanks Redrover 09 and worth a favourite too! Then off to find some more in the area!
Found on a pleasant geo-wander along the river. There does seem to be a bit of damage to your clever cache, but everything is still there for the finder. TFTC!!
Found the cache but I think the container was broken.
I assume you're meant to fill up the container with water after taking the lid off - but whilst taking off the lid, the whole container fell from where it was meant to remain bolted.
Awesome idea, though. tftc

Found, in the company of djkfb, and the now geo-conscripted killkillmultiply.
Beautiful early morning walk.
It was certainly a bit wet out, but the rain didn't seem to be necessary.

#5419. Today was sunshine mixed with showers, so a rain gauge would come in handy. We were all prepared, but as it turned out it wasn't necessary. We found the gauge had been replaced upside down! Someone must have forced it too much, since we could retrieve it readily. Replaced it back right side up and tried to secure it in place slightly better. But the CO may pay to check. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Cool spot must have run past here a hundred times geokid has eagle eyes today tftc
Found it but could not for the life of us remove the lid!! Carried water with us too...
Been wanting to do this one for a while, got a chance today. Muggle with dog passed and were nearly caught! Later hid my own cache up the path. TFTC find #122 Tb visit.

Found it easily enough and had more that enough water to do the job. Impressive and fun cache. A favourite from us. TFTC
Found last weekend out bike riding with the kids. Planned to do a run along that track but didn't take an incoming tide into account so will have to go back later.
Cool cache, kids loved it.

Will replace the cache in a couple of days when this wild weather is out of the way
went to check on this one on my way to check on some of my cachs and its gone i think the flood waters have taken it. i would have replaced it but forgot to take a small enough container will do so next time i am going past
Finally got round to do this one. The camo has completely fallen apart so hide is not hidden anymore. I could not find anything suitable. The log is very wet and almost full. So will need replacing. Great hide. TFTC
have done a few like this in the past but the idea is so good that i still find them fun and interesting and thus i go out of my way to find these when i know about them.
Classic hide well deployed.
Thanks for the cache.

Found before a meeting in Riverside at about 0830. Temperature ~1C. Fog from St Peter's Pass all the way up. No one in the immediate area of GZ so a quick and uneventful find. Thanks!
Great time out with the family. DR JAMES, SMELLY BELLY 8 and JABs Had a lot of fun and it was a very lovely day. Gained lots of fantastic memories and visited some cool places. This was part of my geocaching scouting challenge.

15:00:37 Ok we avoided the puddles to get here and of cause a muggle jogger comes past just as we start to do this cache, he paid no attention as we did the required duties for this cache find. Less then suggested was needed to retrieve this cache.
JABs.

On a caching trip with the family up north. This is to help my cub scouting challenge we did 50 in one day which is a record for the whole family together.
A quick find of a type we have come across before. Still impressive though. Thanks.
Several mm of rain fell in Launceston today. Surprisingly though, it was very localised. There is no truth to the rumour that this is yet another example of weird weather resulting from global warming.
This is a 'kind' rain gauge, I came prepared for much worse. In Adelaide some of our rain gauges require two people to operate and retrieve the cache! A nice location.
Thanks for the 'puzzle' and cache Redrover 09.

Thanks for the hint. Also read a couple of the other logs and came prepared. Geokids enjoyed this one. TFTC
Very entertaining & all sorts of cleverness. Like physics in action. I do like to see some thought go into a cache hide, not just another systema under a rockpile. Couldn't figure out how to undo my unhiding at first though.
Out on my own in my "other persona" sans team player so I can't log under my "real name" (though the avatar would be a give-away).

#130 - 16:25; A quick walk from the bridge down the other end of the North Esk track from the trains with Bronte14 saw this one bagged after retrieving an abandoned coffee cup and a the contents of a nearby puddle. TFTC
Lucky we had a couple of drink bottles with us. The hole in the bottom was blocked up so I unblocked it so the cache would be hidden again. Our penultimate find for 2012. Thanks for this fun cache.
Found with Bedmaker while visiting down here from Queensland for the holidays.
With the right amount of ???? we soon had the cache in hand.

Out on a day’s caching around the area this was next on our target list.
We noted the clue and had the necessary rain to find this one.
Lovely area for a walk this afternoon, we had the place to ourselves while there so it was an easy find.

clearead the second container out of the way,all clear now.all up and running.
Previous logs and favorite points drew us here as we were ending our short visit to Tasmania from Sydney. Well worth the visit. Very clever construction. Two containers in the gauge. Signed the top one. TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Ah that missing container i knew it would come back, will go and clear in the next couple of days
Day 7 of our escape from the NT trip, seeking some relief from the tropical build up
Hmmm, what to do when you don't have a container? Luckily between the 2 of us, 2 human bladders hold the requisite 300ml although Mrs TiedyeSmileys had some trouble aiming.
Nah, just kidding, had a campervan full of bottles
We had a funny experience on a cache like this that had a lot more water and holes which resulted in Mrs TiedyeSmileys being soaked when Mr TiedyeSmileys let go of a hole to grab the cache.
