Found a nail in the tree (rather high so not a cache that many people would be able to reach anyway) but clearly the cache has gone
Didn't find it looked everywhere even got up in the tree to have a look pretty disappointed with these westbury caches
We were looking while in the tree and some locals told us it wasn't there anymore. I noticed someone found it only a month ago but we didn't see it
Hmm, had to have a good look around for this one, couldn't find it at first but then followed the instructions and there it was! Couldn't sign the log as it was soaked, and I didn't have a replacement, so I left my calling card and signed that. TFTC!!
Our 2nd DNF today.
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 2:28:00 PM, but couldn't locate the cache.

Found it, luckily Mr tatts was here as I would've had no chance in getting this one
We weren't sure whether this one was still there from reading previous logs, but geodaughter hopped up and found the (replacement?) cache with no problems.

Caching with Tassieboy. He had logged this one in the past but he found it on the ground then. We looked up, we looked down. No cache was found.
Thanks for the hunt.
Thanks for the hunt.
Didn't find it - and like others should have read the notes before looking. The nail is still there, but there is no cache and a broken pencil stub on the ground.
wish i had read the comments..... i found the nail but definitely no cache.
at least i dont feel so bad about not finding it
should definitely fix this asap because it is a great spot for a cache and i liked that i could find it without gps. tftc

Quick leg up and geosister had the cache in hand... Almost left her there SL TFTC.
Too old for this climbing stuff. Had to get a leg up to retrieve this one. Log book a bit soggy.
On getting close to GZ we realised the task at hand. We began looking for the best route when the lady across the street came out and said its not there and the local kids had got it. It was then we looked down and picked up the cache in the gutter and showed her. We signed the log but it was a little damp. We tried to put it back where we thought it should live and hopefully the local kids leave it alone. TFTC.

An early morning cache hunt had sb8 up and at it before even the neighbours knew we were in town. Was great to be so out in the open but yet just hiden from view. Thanks for the extra cache in a by passed town. Gives more reason to pull in off the high way.
JABs.

Love this beautiful town. Found without drama. Thanks for organising the cache.
Silly me needed a quick refresher on types of trees but soon had this in the bag. Fourth of seven for the day. TFTC.
A quick find while caching between Devonport and Westbury. Amazed that cache is still there as very obvious in tree with nowhere to hide. TFTC
Perhaps lucky for us, it sounds like a bit of cache creep (or cache drop) had occurred so the find was quick and straightforward and we had a tall person with us anyway! (So it was always going to be good). Will be interested to read the logs after ours though! Thanks dimebag DOZER!
Being built a bit close to the ground I had two chances of ever reaching this .. buckleys and none! ... NO wait!!... there is three!! I forgot, Team Natty Dean isn't vertically challenged and has go go gadget arms woohoo. Thanks for the cache Dimebag Dozer
Oakey does. I could see this one from the street, but OldSaint told me where it really belongs so I put it back there.
Found on the ground in the open. Replaced where I thought it should be but a good breeze will have it back down again.
Cache lying on ground out I'n open. Covered as much as possible... might need checking.

Previous cache had gone...so replaced with a small screwtop which will be harder to grab from below. Hope it stays put...time will tell I guess. TFTC..Cheers.
Climbed up to gz.....this one has definitely gone awol...checked it may have fallen off...but no go..Cheers.
Found this cache on a Launceston and Northern area raid, mainly to attend the event "Meet Butterfly Lady and Radionut50". Also it was my first time meeting Craigrat. I enjoyed event and finding a 25 + caches over the day (and previous night), although the weather was against me - It was bucketing down most of the day. Also found a sort of nemisis cache - "Power to the People" - one that I never had searched for, generally as I had always ran out time before finding time to search for it
Well considering the rain, that was still spitting, it was to wet to climb. But after reading logs I though I might be able to see from a certain perch. Luckily I could see it from here. Now ot retrieve. Luckly again I had the right tool in my car to get the cache down.
Thanks for the great cache

Sure helps to have a tall member of the team! Found by mr sharnie's tribe, at full stretch. TFTC
Arrived at gz. Dam, I could not reach nor could I climb up. I had a few bags of sheep shit I picked up for the garden in the back of the vehicle so useing these as a ladder the cache was soon logged. I reckon the people over the road were having a good laugh. Thanks
The local muggles have been asking the Council to trim the tree so when I turned up in my work vehicle I was asked if I was inspecting it. I had given up finding the cache when I had one of those light bulb moments and asked a muggle if he had a step ladder. With said ladder I discretely filled in log and left.

God - have you ever seen one adult try to give another adult a leg lift. First time in years either of us have attempted it and had us both in stitches. So, eventually we sorted that out and made a quick find. Such a lovely town.

In its position at this location makes for interesting viewing for nearby residents. We're wondering if the hider lives in one of the houses and gets a laugh from watching all the antics?!

Geoniece's log: Geoniece found the treasure. kangaroo_girlie just lifted goeniece up and geoniece saw where it was. Mr Whippy came along near the treasure. We hoped that he wouldn't see us and luckily he didn't. Mr Whippy was too busy serving icecream to a muggle's dog. The dog nearly ate the container.
Kangaroo_Girlie's log: Thankfully I had geoniece with me to help me out on this one, 'cause it would have been quite difficult without her. I didn't see the dog getting served icecream, I guess that was the advantage of a bird's eye view.

Took geodad a few minutes to locate the cache and a few more minutes for geokid to retrieve it. A log back in the car by geomum whilst the local teenage muggle boys wander by then heaven for geokid, back up a tree. Even wearing a dress doesn't stop her. TNLN TFTC
A hide the geo kid of our group enjoyed rising to the challenge of, she is part monkey.

Following a cold front which came through lst night, there was a bitterly cold wind coming from the Western Tiers as we arrived at GZ. Maybe our GPS was a little cold too (or in shock with the sudden change in temperature) but it took a few minutes for it to settle down. Once it started to behave, the general area of GZ was quickly located. Then it was a matter of locating the cache. After a quick look at the lower parts, the shorter of the 2y'stassies retreated to the comfort of the car, delegating the taller to continue the search. Stretching to the maximum extent, a familiar object was felt and, after a little manipulation, retrieved. With the log signed, the next task was to return the cache container to the correct location without having to climb the structure. The mission was finally accomplished and the taller could also retreat to the warmth and shelter of the car. TFTC Dimebag_DOZER.

Luckily I had the assistance of a long armed muggle (hubby) to help retrieve this one, and then the interesting, well designed cricket entrance across the other side was examined. These were the biggest stumps we had ever seen! Thanks for the hunt Dimebag Dozer.
Good look but no go. Too many possible muggles...houses close and training on the oval. Doubt if cache would last as cachers are bound to arouse curiosity.
Hi Dimebag DOZER
This was a quick find but the extraction took some time. Annie ended up pushing me up the tree by the arse and the cache acquired. All the needed paper work was completed up the tree at 1325hrs. All was Oakie Dokie even though a game of cricket was progressing on the village green.
TFTC and cheers;
OldSaint.

Decided to head down south for a few days and was pleasantly surprised to find there were a few newish caches along the way. This was our first find for the day. A cricket game was taking place but the cache was retrieved without much trouble [and the help of a stick]. Thanks.
No climbing equipment needed for Mr Landy. Head high, lol. Its good to be tall sometimes. Thanks for the cache Dimebag Dozer.
Woo Hoo *FTF* @ 5.10 pm. Zipped out after work in search of our 2nd FTF today. Climbing boots definitely recommended but we managed to reach the cache with a combined effort. No muggles about to watch our antics. TFTC
