As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Camped here for the weekend, saw previous messages, had a look, yip it's definitely gone, had a quick search in grass in the area to no avail.
This one has gone. Found GZ but the cupboard was bare. Sorry I didn't have a spare the correct size to replace it with.
Ditto for the below comment found the nail used my torch to look further to no avail may need a check up
Got it this time. Yay!! Awesome sneaky hide and clue makes sense now. (After sleeping on it). Smiley Face and a fave from me. Tfth
Another all day mission with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker, this time focusing on the other side of Tauranga. I had just finished logging the all the caches we had found in Papamoa when I looked at the map and thought why not have a crack at the other side as well!
A early start as we were on the road at 4.30am as we needed to be back not to late otherwise we'd be in the dog box when we got back home. Another fantastic day out with lots of the usual laughter and this time the weather was much better behaved. In total over 80 finds, with only a couple of DNF's and we got back in time to stay out of the dog boxes, just!
We signed the log books with Hi1, an acronym of our caching handles. A big thanks to all the CO's for all the placements, and for taking us to places we hadn't been before.
This one had me beat last time I was here, and HPG had also left here on a previous visit without a smilie either. Mrwalker though had worked out this sneaky hide, and was rubbing it our faces. So with the dual effort of HPG and me we weren't going to leave here empty handed. A bit of search and we spotted it this time to our huge relief. I don't think I'd be able to list to mrwalker all the way home if we went home with a DNF.

Out and about trying to clear off another chunk of Tauranga geocaches. Again accompanied by HKCB and Iammrwalker, this seems to becoming a habit. Early start, head to Tauranga, cache the whole day, say we will be home early, end up being home later and then grovelling out of the dog box. This time we set off from Hamilton at 4.30am to try and get more caching done before we had to turn around. We seem to be enjoying this so much we are planning a return visit again soon. Signed our logs as "HI1" as an acronym of our respective caching names. A great, laugh filled day that was thoroughly enjoyed.
I have looked for this one once before and failed due to muggles and not being able to have a proper search. I had always wondered where it was hidden so was excited to call in today and check it out. Well I almost walked straight to it. How easy! How annoying that I couldn't do that last time. Oh well, a very clever, well hidden cache. Many thanks for the cache!

Thought today would be a good day to do this one but too many mugglers around, popular place, will be back.
I was down in Tauranga with a muggle friend and had asked a caching friend to recommend a couple of quick park and grab caches and this was one of them. Not what I was expecting and a clever hide for a nano, so gets a fp rom me
That was ver ver clever. Got it straight away with our ninja skills. Was quite entertaining watching the dunce bf try get it out. Ninja sqd has done it again!
Enjoying revisiting a few DNF's from a previous visit. At least it was daylight this time, so the find soon made. Thank goodness the nearby photography lesson all had their camera's pointing the other way. Very clever hide. SL. TFTC.
This is a great nano cache. I'm not usually a fan of searching for nano's but when they have been this well executed I don't mind a bit! The hint is great and the coordinates really accurate. We found this one late at night on our way home to Hamilton and had the log in hand less than a minute from when I hopped out of the car. Thanks for a fun diversion on our way home.
A sneaky night time mission by torch light, 10 mins and had cache un hand . Great hiding place .tftc
Very clever hide the thing fits perfectly TFTC

Nice nano!! Took about ten mins and even looked in the same place numerous times then spotted it. Thanks!!
These nano's are always tough. Gps was all over the place for some reason so we were one wrong place.
Persevered and thankfully had tweezers with us.

A cleverly placed cache which took a few minutes for us to find. On our way to Fraser Cove for some shopping but of course, we had to find a few caches too. TFTC!
Tried this one in the dark, and torchlight not good enough for us to crack it. Called by again today 9/11 but there was an event going on nearby, so decided not to explore it further. Will leave it for another visit.
Hmmm. Pouring rain and pitch black probably didn't help matters... Almost gave up, but then spotted after one final attempt. Of course, removing it from the hidey hole was another story.. Thanks for the cache
Finished working in area for the day and after a quick shower this one was an an as stroll before dinner. Think tonight was also dog obedience night as there was a constant stream of owners and dogs. Cache found and lucky I hadn't manicured tonight or I wouldn't have been able to sign the log. Nice sneaky hide. Gets a favorite. TFTC
TFTC, nice little cache to find. Had Neoblu09, Lambda90a and myself scratching our heads for a little bit. Returned today ti sign the log. Muggles showed up as I re-hid. Nothing a bit of stealth didnt cover.
Out and about with Team Welsh and I must admit we were fooling around then we realised where the cache was. t4tc
#280 - wow this one really had me thinking. Took me awhile, & once I found it i thought it was very clever! Well done. Once I get onto a Computer u will get a fav from me. Tftc.
Out and about with Pagenz and between us we had this one sussed pretty quickly. TFTC
Luckily the person in the other car here was sound asleep, so we didn't have an audience. Soon spotted the blighter and back to the car as it was getting cool! Haven't said that in a while!
First find of our weekend. I liked this hide. The clue took a little bit of thinking about, but figured it out in the end. Thanks
Out clearing off some geocaches in this are. Got to this one and found a cleverly hidden hide. TFTC
Thanks to Philip.Perry for alerting us to a "full as a bull" logbook, 22 11 2 now has another 1 2
Was out trying to collect some caches for a couple of challenges. This one was in the area so stopped to pick it up.
Good hide and found it after not to long. TFTC

took longer than it should. i was standing 1 rail over, and the wife continued along the fence line in the wrong direction. as soon as we went the other way it was right there.
A quick and surprisingly easy find as the light was fading this evening. Coordinates were bang on. Thanks for bring me here <◉))))>
Great hide, supprised to find and retrieve so easily. Signed log thanks for the cache. Our first tparty find thanks

Parked the campervan at the RSA down the road. So thought of doing one last cache for the day. It was already dark, so try to look for it with the flashlight....But a nono for us
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
A quick find in the rain, while we were down in Tauranga for the weekend. A clever little hide, thanks for the cache!

This has been on my todo list for some time and today it was all quiet at the GZ so made a quick discovery and jumped the hurdle to make a clean getaway on Shanks pony

Out for a spot of caching on this beautiful sunny Sunday with Z-masterNZ. Thought we'd try for Matamata, the Kaimais and Tauranga.
Made our start but it seemed everywhere we went there were people around and we couldn't get close enough to have a good look or to retrieve the cache once it was spotted. So it ended up being a less productive day than we had hoped.
Sent Z out to look for this one as it would have looked dodgy with me hobbling around. Once he realised how the hint work it was a quick and easy retrieval and sign.

Nice area, to bad that were no horses there. But it was good nobody around and I can easy locate the cache. This is really very clever one.

bit late logging finds. Attempt no 2. turn on GPS at near GZ.watched the man cutting grass and he soon disappeared over the hill. Follow gps to GZ. Retreived cache sign log put back all in minimal time. No idea why could not find last time.TFTC
Perseverence paid off and I got the little blighter this time!!
Nicely done.
Many thanks

Found yesterday around 5pm after 2 previous dnfs... So easy once you are within 2 meters, the hint falls right into play. Thanks tparty for this one, really good. Fave star from me tftc
I knew that poem years ago. Nice to see it used in a cache. It was pony club day and a guard was manning the gate. Well, womanning actually. Read the logs and selected the right tool and got it straight away. GPS was wandering about though. It must have been the high trees. Thanks tparty.
Great hiding place one of the best yet. On a mission today to find my first 100 cache 2 more to go. TFTC??
A nice find while on a road trip with TuisReturn. Weather fairly poor with heavy showers - the same as my last visit to Tauranga. Had hoped to get the caches on the mount - but even when we were only a couple of k's away we couldn't even see it! SL TFTC
First cache of the day and a DNF. Knew it was going to be a tricky one having read the logs a couple of days ago. Next time!!!
