Too much muggle activity today for a good search for this one.
Will try again another time
Will try again another time
It was time to get on the pushbikes and see how many caches we could find along the bike trail. A nice warm sunny winter's day made for a very pleasant few hours riding along the riverside path.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys.
Bike ride along the river today, picked up ten caches, left some for another day.
With new hint and aware that the cache was back in action it was a fast find
Thanks for the hide

Due to the cache being muggled a number of times the hide has been changed slightly. It is not where previous cachers found it by close by.
Out on a cycling caching run on the RRPT with Roostaman, we looked for this one, and it wasn't there or at least where it used to be......
Looked for a while, not knowing that it had been replaced. Then Jackylegs came to confirm that it was not where they found it.
Still I could have looked harder, this is just a note not a DNF

DNF and agree with previous comments - think we found the broken canister - not sure.
Not found..i say has been muggled again...not good area for cache..unruly behavior area..beeare of needles..
This one was great too, the only thing is we had to keep the kids away from the needles, some humans are just tragic, however our geocaching experience was still a delight
Didn't realise where it was for about five minutes but eventually got it, got nice and wet today, at least no muffles!
Found this cache on the ground near the GZ so put it where I thought it was suppose to be!!

Out with hunting with phume, I got sent up the tree to find this one ... Quickly located, nice little hide in such an open area ... TFTC
MattCNS rapalced the cache with a Bison Tube, back in it's original position.
Out of interest, he did find the previous cache, but it was in very poor shape.

MattCNS did his maintenance - replacing the cache, and the geo-dog and I went over to find it. First I found the old cache which was pretty gungy. With a little footwork, and leaving geo-dog on the ground, I found the new cache. TFTC
This cache is probably missing. I'll be replacing it very soon. Please don't go looking for it.
I've just taken over the maintenance for these caches and will replace this one ASAP.
Not on any fork Ian could reach.
Last log indicates the cache may have been muggled.

Climbed tree couldnt find. Found pencils on ground bot sure if part of cache got have been muggled
This one is trashed I was only able to find what's left of the stash and a pencil. I did however enjoy the climb in the tree. little did I know what was to come at higher ground.
Today I undertook a personal challenge to find 24 caches in 24 hours in and around the Townsville and Ingham area. On such a lovely spring day I was lucky enough to find not only 24 caches but to explore this lovely part of Australia. I would like to mention the abundant wild life including wallabies, butterflies (too many varieties to mention), dragon flies, crocodiles, kangaroos, some kind of ant and I will call a green ass ant (they seem to swarm all over you and bite, not hard or with any venom but the numbers WOW or should I say WOE), dogs and an interesting creature I will call a “North Queenslander”. Many thanks to you guys sometimes pointing me in the right direction but most of all for being good guys.

after completing the WhereIgo
stopped in here on our way back to the Tavern
had a look
read the clue, ah
had another look ... nah
then widened the search.
I was looking for plastic, when the reluctant caching partner said "what's this then"
well a cache container of course, just not the one I was looking for
no contents
so added paper (with a signature)
re packed & re stashed at what we thought was a more appropriate elevation
TFTC
* photo to be added at a later date.
cheers

1:17:00 PM. In Townsville for the day again and had time for a couple of caches. Had a nice walk too this one even though we could have parked closer. An easy find as cache was exposed. Signed log and returned out of sight. Thanks Champs2Monkeys for placing this cache.
Paper destroyed, added new piece of paper, not able to use pencil so take your own.
Needs maintenance .

found it but couldn't sign log as log was wet and destroyed, needs maintenance. TFTC
Found it but can't log due to the log and pencil being wet, needs maintenance!
Nice one. Was a little too high for us short people though. Amazing what you can so with sticks.
After a series of failures on this side of the river, we made a slight detour to get this one as it was getting dark. We were rewarded with a quick find.
Light fading as we headed back to the car after finishing the Wherigo. Returned to a better altitude.
The container was very wet inside. The little thing for the snow was gone which is a shame as I was going to send it to my brother in wagga who does geocaches. Good luck I hope he finds snow
Found a very, very wet ECLIPSE mint container with remnants of the log and pencil? Description says FILM canister?
The log book is a wet. Sorry we didn't have another log book to replace it. Great hiding place. Thank you.
The number of little red spanners on our caches is growing.
Work has been crazy busy, but I guess we really need to go out and mend/check a few of these.

We think we found it, not as pictured or hinted. Wet, unable to write on it. Needs to be seen to by caretaker/ manager
Caching with GeoFamily today. A quick find here after negotiating a very soggy grassed area and flooded walkway.
Cache was in bad condition, water inside the cache. Log wasn't in the enclosed bag and was totally drenched (unsignable). Bag wasn't sealed properly either, enclosed pencil was soaked.
Dried as much as I could, and added a new piece of paper for logs into the bag. Sealed bag properly.
Visited with TB's.

Second visit to site, this time we had success. There was no need for Miss 6 to be a monkey. TFTC
Another cache along this beautiful river. Quick find in between little muggles. School just came out. TNLN TFTC
