Two pairs of eyes spent half an hour searching but no luck. Ran out of time and had to go pick geocadets up from school. Will be back.
Out to knock off a few GC on NYD with PHUME. No muggles about, but could easily be a much muggled zone. Spotted it quite quickly and logged. TFTC
Found on a pleasant walk along the river. Couldn't get log out so posting photo proof. TFTC!
Out caching along the Ross River today. Found it after a few minutes of searching. SL. TFTC Champs2Monkeys.
Yesterday we found 26 caches with 25 different terrain x difficulty ratings but today started late after coffee, walked past 2 caches concentrating on the whereigo and failed to find 2 others , including this one. Must be a caching hangover legs and gps was all over the place and we came up empty handed.
Only started searching today and noticed on the maps it wasn't too far away from where I was and had no idea what to expect
Good find my dad found it and it was his first but we didn't have a pen so didn't write on it
Have found this one so decided to check while on a walk....Definately not there...
Third time no luck..time to give up say its gone...checked with someone who has.found and still no luck..
Today's caching mission on day 3 of our annual Townsville visit with the in- laws was to clean some of the 20 or so solved (but not found) puzzles as well any interesting, higher difficulty caches along the way.
Along the way, I really wanted to attack the wherigo. Part way round I stopped for this cache, because of the interesting location. Hard for the GPS to get a good lock on down here. So I searched pretty well everywhere. With time running short, I moved on. Suspect I was beaten by a good hide today.
Thanks for the cache, C2 M and MattCNS

This was not our first visit to attempt to find this cache, the difference being that today we found this cache. We remember well when the RRPT series started. Legendary. Thanks Champs.
I found it but make Sure that you bring tweezers for it because it is very hard to get out
Paper is jammed in this cache. Luckily we had our 'geo-tools' with us & soon had the log out. Advice - BRING FINE TWEEZERS!
found as part of our stroll completing the WhereIgo
the cache is stuffed [?]
sorry, the cache container is fine,
but it is jammed up with paper and the log
even an extraction tool didn't help
as the paper started to disintegrate with efforts to extract.
managed to pull a small piece out and sign
and was reluctant to jam it back in there
will need a new log at some stage, when your new maintenance person gets a chance. ]
TFTC one more tick on the RRPT

Met up with JackyLegs44 for a spot of caching this morning. It was nice to put another few faces to names/logs.
My youngest GeoDaughter found this one quite quickly. Must have been coz she was closest to the height of the container.
Dipped GeoKrety Key Coin.

A lovely stroll along the river and across the bridge to get this one. Cool cache - thanks!
Even though we knew what we were looking for it still took us a while. We did not get log out (actually broke lead of the pencil trying to do it). Nice cache and good hide. Thanks C2M.
Took awhile but to walk away and found it. Unable to fill in the log as we could not get it out.
It was a case of back tracking to get this one, as we walked straight past it. On the second pass it was soon spotted and the log signed.
Continuing our walk around the lakes. Struggled to extract the log, but found a suitable tool nearby. This was my 100th Australian cache.
Sneaky hide! Couldn't get the log out! But will come back another time to fill out
Just grabbing a few caches on our way to the mega. Loads more to gather when we return back to the north. Do remember your extraction tool as it is truly needed. SL TFTC
We went for a walk around this section of the paths around the river. With the road above the GPS was giving us an accuracy of 35m, this made the search a little more challanging. After a carefull inspection the little critter was located. The next challange was extracting the log book. We ended up resorting to straighting a key ring from the car keys to to make a tool that could get at the log book. It all worked out in the end, we replaced the log book and continued our walk. Cheers
Finally I can sleep!! Found it and I can't believe that I didn't find it before...my eyes were obviously painted on...signed log...thanks Champs!!
As I had the bridge all to myself I looked under, over and round many railings on both sides but did not have any luck..
Found on day 14 of 31 days of Geocaching. Managed to scrawl the initials JB and the date in some space, was going to add some extra paper until we found out how small it was! TFTC 14/08/13 5:54 PM Find #28
[u][blue] 31 Days of Geocaching: [/blue][red]Day 6[/red][/u]
We pass by here on many a morning as we ride our way to work. We had spotted the hide yesterday afternoon but, as we are completeing the 31 days of geocaching, left it until today to find.
There always seems to be more muggles around in the afternoon so thought the morning ride in would be a better time.

North Qld 2013. Day 9 was my first full day in Townsville and today was the day to hit the Ross River Power trail. After fixing my bike up, I set out and visited a large range of caches along the river. It was a good range of caches some easy, some hard. I did not do them all but enjoyed everything I managed. This was one of my favorite ones of the day. Quite an odd place to have a crossing. Thanks.

Had a fairly good idea for what I was looking for and after a brief search, had the prize in hand. Cache requires a new log as the current one is full. TFTC SL {#261}.
Found at 12:45 PM in the company of The Drovers GAFF1. A great view of the river and a good spot for a first hide. We were concerned that the GPS reception was not going to be the best under there, but it worked out ok.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys.
Our second day out caching with pprass.
We took the bikes to do another section of the RRPT trail.
With 2 GPS's on site, we found this cache quite easy.
Thanks for the cache, Champs2Monkeys.

Went back today determined to find. My GPS signal dropped out last time so I couldn't really hone in where exacty on the bridge I was looking. Used the iphone today and pin pointed the area to with in a few meters, Found it straight away.
I must of been so close to this last time! I think I may have stopped short by a meter or two!

Clever container! Had a fair idea what we were after. Mrs Preeds & Jnr Preeds found together, with hound for 'cover' as high muggle activity. TFTC
This was the only cache I didn't find today? I knew what I was looking for and covered the first half of the bridge on the Condon side with no luck. After about 40 mins of frustration I decided to call it quits and pedalled home leaving it for another day. For anyone going past this one could you please confirm it's still there for me?
Cheers

Being technically minded, I had a pretty good idea what to look for here a spotted the odd one out pretty quickly. Finally found a cache for the morning. TFTC
Found it No. 8166 ... once the GPS settled it was a quick find ... TNLN ... TFTC Champs2Monkeys
Thanks guys, I haven't walked here for far too long.
Love the spot, love the cache.
Love the spot, love the cache.
Definitely the first of many and hopefully many more to come . A great spot and a great hide for the location. Pagan noticed it right way. We spent a bit of time looking for crocodiles . Unsuccessfully I will add . Glad we picked a time when the bridge was empty. Thanks Champs2Monkeys
Finally got round to having a second look and found the escapee fairly quickly. Don't know how we missed it last time. Sl thx champs+2monkeys.
That made me feel better after missing the last one. Spotted this one easily from afar. TFTC

Being home early for a change i decided to get some exercise and some caches. This one was the second one. Didn't even try to make out the right spot with my GPS/phone, just kept looking in the likely places and after a short time I was rewarded with a cache . TFTH
Yaaay!!! This was our nemesis! I knew exactly what it would be and 4th time lucky. TFTC and a great hunt.
Greetings from Oregon! Visiting friends in Townsville. Sp many places...such bad GPSer reception...unable to locate....
