TFTC container lid is gone and bag was broken and log wet. Changed its bag so waterproof but needs new container. back to the car to drive to other side of park
The rain had cleared and we decided to take our Geo dog who sufferers motion sickness out again this weekend for the " lets get use to the car rides" Caching is always a fun thing to do and I look for cache's that had some fun places to walk or relax. Great location to stop and get a walk in. This cache sadly was wet. we dried it out but unfortunately the lid was gone.
Thank you.

Found with dad today (the secret weapon in bris trackers words) the cache has no lid but was dry.
We love these easement tracks, and are constantly amazed that there are so many areas maintained by the council in these out of the way spots.
An easy find, thanks bristracker.

Today I managed to have a few hours spare this afternoon that I wasn't expecting. Well there's nothing for it but to go grab a few caches. Saw this little series and thought I'd grab the set. This one was an easy find but the container has lost its lid and the bag has a few holes in it. Log is still dry tho and after signing my name I rolled the bag up best I could to try and protect it. TFTC. SL.
After a 4 day conference last week, geohubby arrived on GC and it is time to have a holiday. He gets a bit frustrated in traffic, so it's out to the countryside today for some caching. Decided to head Mt Tambourine way and see where the caches lead us.
This is no 16 of 18 for the day after a late morning start.

Thanks for the quick find and what marvelous areas to discover around here, TFTC
I parked nearby ready to head off and grab this one and the other two on this trail, however had to wait around a little for the surprising amount of traffic on this road that appears to be a dead end. Anyway it did not take long and there was a break that was long enough to retrieve and sign the cache.

We had headed into the area to grab a few caches. We parked at the parking co-ords for another cache and walked to this one. As we arrived hubby had control of the GPS and geo-daughter, M-Dolphin, had the cache and giggled as dad was still trying to narrow down GZ. SL TFTC
This one still has no lid but the log was nice and dry. A female muggle was wandering around aimlessly as we were signing the log but when she turned away we rehid the cache. Thanks bristracker, for placing the 460th cache we've found so far!
We had Christmas around the corner from here at my granddads place. Late in the day we needed some fresh air so a quick cache sounded perfect. Found it easily. Great spot. Hopefully we get to do the rest of the caches here soon. Thanks
On my final day of my Queensland caching trip I was able to grab a final 39 caches for the day. Had a great day with a few hard finds and a few walks. Thanks to all the CO's for their placements, and I apologise for the generic logs but I'm so far behind in my logging. Thanks heaps.
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Out and about on the Gold Coast for this run. Caching primarily West of the Motorway, we had the chance to pick up some solved puzzles and a couple of dozen other caches. A good day, with lunch in a plesant park. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches and appologies for the late logs.

Nice walk for a trio of caches here. One quite sneaky hide as well. The barking dogs half way along kept the kids a bit apprehensive, but you get that. TFTC bristracker.

Nice easy find and looking ahead I'm excited looks like a path up through the bush, the kind of walks I like.TFTC.bristracker.
We got up early this morning so we wouldn't have to go for a cache for the August Challenge in the late afternoon when then sun had gone down.
It has been long days working for the AEC and we are looking forward to a day off tomorrow.
This was a nice easy find so we were in plenty of time to drop our daughter back after putting her car in for a service.
Unfortunately we couldn't go for the other 2 Rails and Trails because we have to keep them for the rest of the challenge.
Thanks Bristracker. TFTC SL

I do like the late shift at work.
I can get out early in the morning for a walk.
And the trails through here were perfect.
A quick find here and others have said the lid is missing but everything inside is dry.
Thanks for the cache.

A few muggles around but managed to find quickly without being seen. A good hide! Thanks for the cache bristracker!
Parked up the geotruck and had a short walk to GZ. After a bit of searching with a stick I found the cache. The lid is missing but nice and dry still. I added my mark and Put it back. TFTC bristracker
After a weekend of painting the veranda we decided to have a break this afternoon. After wandering left then right a bit, Mrs Herbz spotted the well disguised container. TFTC Bristracker. The lid is missing but its all dry inside.
Visiting from Newcastle, staying with my brother at Nerang, brought along three young ladies all ready with their competitive spirit, TFTC bristracker!!
Instead of manufacturing caches we decided to go look for some, so we chose bristracker's trail of 5 site nearby. This one first was a nice easy start to the outing. TFTC.
After a banding an attempt to find treasure on Tamborine due to wash out on 4wd track, I thought that I would Find some Rails and Trails on my way home. This was an easy find but top has broken off container. Should be ok for a while. Thanks bristracker.
It was a case of being off to a good start. After a nice quick find I set off along the trail. Thanks for the cache.
Second find for the day. This one was a little harder to find but got it plenty of walking around in circles as there were are a few cars coming past. TFTC...
Almost managed to park right on top of this cache. A quick find by kateRX. And we were making tracks to the next cache.

Hrmmm... those aren't supposed to be there... Thanks FTC. Found with JJBoards.
Cache number 3 for us ( well, four actually). Made the quick find, signed the log and went back to #2 to sign that too. Now off to the ANZAC caches.

Phew!!! Finally nearly gave up for the second time. How embarrasing, but a last check from a different perspective revealed this one. Was actually driving by when i spotted this one.
I was a little worried by the previous DNF on this one - but I thought I would give it a go anyway. Initially, I too, came up empty handed. But a closer inspection of the area soon revealed the hide. The cache is in good condition. TFTC Bristracker
Spent way too long looking for this one, however as it was our very first cache, maybe we didn't look properly.

Found by geokid after suggesting where to look.
Now off to track down the others on the trail.
Thanks Bristracker.

Geokid found this cache. Liked the look of the park across the road and had a little play.
A quick find after work. A few muggles wandering the streets but other than that pretty quiet in this area.
Thanks for the cache Bristracker.
While signing the log one of those pesky cache dwelling frogs hopped on in.

I was tricked with this one. When I printed out the page at home I wasn't going to go for this one tonight because I thought it was down a bushy trail and it wouldn't be a good idea in the dark. While signing the log at another cache though, the family member with me was reading the cache page and said, "I don't think it is down a bushy track". Trusting them we drove out here and are pleased to say we signed the blank log book, and FTF at 10:12pm. Thanks for a new series of geocaches Bristracker. We look forward to more in this series.
