With all the works going on at the theatre and various replacements I think we will let this one go for now
Alpha male and female were off for an early morning jog/cache around town, and this was our first stop. Great to spy the little gallery cafe (which we returned to later in the day!) and get a lay of this town, but no cache to be found this morning. Found a very likely couple of hides that would conceal a bison nicely, but no cache to be felt or found.
I couldn't find it in what I thought was the only place it could be, given the clue. Maybe my GPS had me off-target...
Amazing piece of art. Thanks for bringing us here.
We thought for a horrible moment that it was going to be "above" the statue.
but we were so much happier when we found it.

Lovely day for a bike ride to the Botanical Gardens. I planned to find a few caches along the way. I hadn't seen the rabbit before. He would be cosy in the cold with his handknitted scarf. Thankfully a workman moved away so I could begin my search. Thanks The Morris
Found with highrod and SnapHappy1. Changed container confused us for a bit but cache soon in hand. Liked the rabbit. TFTC
Was looking for an mini m&m container, so I think I was slower than if I knew it was a bison tube.....that's my excuse

Ended up sharing the find with Warrior99, ST37E, S 4 Sammy, highrod, Kinkell1, Whits Wanderers & Kelly & Tilly...
Thanks to The Morris for the carrot...

Nice hide had to be a little smart on retrive this one. Had a great view of Bendigo from the top of a near by outlook.
Today was a big day with 57 finds in the Bendigo area with Honeysucker including an event to celebrate Tigersden's 250 hides. Finished up the day with some night caching in the CBD. Tommorow is the 4WD event to the east of Bendigo.
We did not touch but did find a cache. TFTC.

Caching in Bendigo with Cracka1 & LittleM96 before tonights event. I wanted to touch but resisted. I find my shoelaces always need adjusting after a hill climb. Nice hide.
A quick find thankfully as its a cold, windy day.
Love the hiding mechanism, TFtC

The vulnerable bunny was sitting up waiting for us this afternoon. It is really quite an amazing piece of work, a curious addition to the historic park.
NOTE: Minor milestone for us, our 3,600th Geocache find.

Attended with Smart sassy Siren to show here a great little cache and art piece, surprised to find that the hide type had changed, but not really surprised knowing the area and levels of muggles.

Quick find with Chaplain Mike today on our way to church. Interesting sculpture. It would look amazing in direct sunlight. SL TFTC!
Quite a bit of construction work going on in this area and the gallery is much quieter now that Grace has returned to Monaco.
Pretty easy find in the end

Could not find this one, the team is disappointed. It can only be a few places ? Taken. We will revisit again. Very open area though.
Heading home from GSAK workshop & Pizza lunch.
A nice quiet, damp Sunday afternoon. Once youngsters headed down hill on scooter things, a quick find achieved.

Sorry but we just had to touch this lovely creature. Could be the stuff of nightmares though-just imagine giant rabbits roaming the streets of Bendigo! Thanks for showing us what we think is a delightful piece of artwork.
Second visit to this cache, and very quickly had the cache in hand. I swear I looked there last time. There is a bit of construction happing in the vacinity of GZ, so had to be careful. Thankfully the weather was not so good today, and the usually crowded cafe nearby was empty. SL. TFTC The Morris.

After wondering around aimlessly for a short while the hint saved the day. Great hide. beware of elderly muggle's peaking eyes!
Found it on a beautiful long weekend holiday love the statue a great reminder of childhood TFTC
“We were interested in acquiring further public sculpture that would interact with the park environment,” the curator said. - What happened, and how did they end up with a 3 meter glass pest?
I didn't touch, but I did find.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found very quickly as it was lying on the ground in the open! Being not sure exactly how it was to go back I put it in a spot where it was at least hidden. Still not sure about the art.
We parked about 30m away as we were heading to the gallery.
A nice easy find too.
Wonder why the gallery would expect people to follow the signs directions when it is outside.
A nice piece of art that Eddie liked touching LOL.
Thanks the morris.

I have been here several times to get this cache but always after it has been muggled. Not this time!! Thanks The Morris for persisting with this one.
Found by Bevfre.2.00pm lucky to find a park and lucky again TN LN SL Thank You The Morris
Sorry its gone again. I have a feeling I know why it went missing the first time too.
Quick look in all logical spots but with muggles aplenty we could not conduct a super thorough search. Hopefully cache is still hidden but we had no luck today.
I would question if it is actually still there. We didnt touch the rabbit but all "signs" were it has gone by the by
Nice find, found almost immediately once a few muggles moved away. Great to see the cascades fountain flowing again nearby.
Thanks Morris.
It definatly wasnt there the other night then.
Great spot up here for eating lunch and a snooze to reignighting the brain for going back to work. Not! .

What a lovely night to do this cache, the smell of delicious food in the air, Bendigo celebrating St Patricks Day with music in the park and our lovely old buildings lit up at night. Thanks [^]
TFTC. Found it but could not sign it as too many mugglers. An area we frequent regularly. Nice coffee nearby.
Found the cache but could not retrieve due to heavy muggle activity. Enjoyed a latte at the cafe instead TFTC
Lots of muggles nearby so could not search thoroughly. The obvious locations came up empty. Will try another time.
Can't say I like the sculpture, I think a bilby would have been more appropriate for an Australian park! Quick find on a Sunday afternoon walk. TFTC
After attending another successful Bendigo Flash Mob Event we headed off with Macca Mob and Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan to grab a few more caches. This one was on the way back to our parked cars so was the next on the list on the way we bumped into elitedude and xawcom (we think). We arrived to see some muggles seated in the shade not far from GZ and thinking we were not going to be able to get this one when we noticed a GPSr, it was Purpledreamer and betty boo 3747 still signing the log and laughing as they knew what we wanted. After adding our names to it the container was replaced and headed off admiring the size of the fury pest at GZ thinking this one would take more than a .22 to stop.
Many thanks The Morris.

Well we needed to find one for the leap year and after CP landed himself in A&E with his crushed finger it wasn't looking too good. So in rain and darkness it was up to CCno.1 to find the nearest traditional cache to home and this was it. You always find good places to put caches Thanks for the cache The Morris.

That might scare away the possums! There was an event at the oval with lots of muggles about, but no-one seemed to notice the 3 kneeling before the god of chocolate. Found with Aveen and The QuantumQuark.
A bit of a late entry here, but completed with Geokids Princess Amy and Stick Kid, on the way out of Bendigo to take them home to their Mum after a busy weekend that included the Annual Flash Mob
Thanks to the Morris for the Cache and great location, Now to head up the tower near by.

#2473 We had a pretty late night the prior evening, after the GCA event we did a night cache then stayed up chatting till about 1am. So our start wasn't as early as normal & this was our first cache for the day at 9.20am. We parked and walked all around the gardens, taking in the fernery along our way (which was beautiful). Got to GZ and a few people were floating around but none worried us - Dad soon located the well concealed container in a lovely location. Our thanks to The Morris for a great cache, no swaps today.
What a great 'piece of art'. My dad has told me numerous times that, "If it wasn't for rabbits, we'd have starved in the early days". Must have bred them and sold them off as pets I guess....
Anyway, a quick find with Sully1 and it was easy to cover our movements from the latte sippers below. Thanks again The Morris, for another great site for a cache

Wow, what a fantastic sculpture. Certainly worth the visit. Bit of teamwork here, to block the view of the coffee drinkers below us, whilst bogonghazy retrieved the cache.
Thanks to The Morris for placing this one here, and hence bringing us here.

A quick discovery by GeoKeegs after first having a chat to Sully1 & Bogonghazy at a nearby plaque. They were busy calculating coords for a different cache and were pleased that we could say "Yes, it really is that far away "
Thanks to The Morris for placing a cache here. Dipped the new coin from last nights dinner - cheers
