I jumped out at the corner, mr Curzzz went on to the parking spot further along. Read the hint & thought no way! Then spotted something I actually could reach
Out and about on a bike ride while staying at friends nearby. Rode a few kms past Goldsborough to locate a few caches. Mostly QEFs with almost no traffic. TFTC
This was the day to turn frowns upside down. Pleased to report that I found 100% of the caches along this road that I DNF a couple of months ago.
After the log came in last night I prepared a replacement cache for Mum and she stopped on the way to work this morning. The container was present but now at GL. The logbook was wet so she just added the new container inside the old one and put it back as the hint states. All good to go here again. Happy Caching
All the way from here to Kumara on the loop road cache finds where hit and miss. This one and the next where missing. Another the cache was gone but the log book remained. Several others I'm sure where gone too including one where the pile of rocks was nicely stacked up but no cache to be found. A couple I dnf I don't know oi I just did not find or if they where missing but I was a bit dejected so wasn't searching extensively each time.
We were out for the day on a maintenance run out passed Hokitika and now its time to check some bugs on the way home. We stopped to do a random check on this as we passed. We tidied the cache and swaps up abit and its All good to go here. Happy Caching
Had to make a decision here as which way to go. Decided to go left. Cache quickly found signed and replaced. TFTC
We are out for a small drive with Mr C's cousin before visiting this afternoon. Cache had water in so tipped out and dried. Log was all good thanks for this cache gracie7.
Long overdue caching road trip, heading to hokitika for the long weekend with a few stops along the way....

***[======== NZ Mega 2020 ========](http://nzmega.com)***
Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

I had this amazing thought as I approached this cache that a three way junction is the least numbered junction you can have. Profound eh. You get quite a lot of time for idle thoughts when you're out caching. No problems finding this one. Thanks .
Decided to clear out this road and general area as we are staying at the DOC campsite at Goldsborough for a few days. A nice quick find here. Room for a TB too. tftc
(# 5311). Today is day 2 of my West Coast trip. Weather wise the day wasn't to bad apart from an absolute deluge around lunchtime. No caching at the time as it was far to wet. Today was a trip to Hokitika then the gorge. A quick find then checked out the Weka wondering around. Everything in order. TFTC
Mum checked on this on the way home. Its right where it should be. NOT ground level as it does flood around here. Better luck next time. All good here. Happy Caching
searched for a bit and then the rain really started ........... maybe next time - thanks for the experience
We came out to check on some critters and made a random check here aswell. Glad we did as the book was quite damp so we replaced it. All good to go again. Happy Caching
Done by one trip in a meantime of collecting insect caches along Stafford Lopp Rd. T4TC
Just a few more before I finally arrive at Hokitika, though I fear the caching will need to stop soon due to the very heavy rain. All good here and replaced as found.

The last part of the day involved mopping up a few solved puzzles and heading to Hokitika via Kumara (my least fave vegetable!)
Day 2 of the trip and with daylight saving starting/ending yesterday I found myself up nice and early and in McDs having breakfast at around 0615. The bike had been loaded into the car for the cycle along the beach to grab the Survivor series remainder (though one DNF would prevent a clean sweep!). It took around 1 hour 40 minutes from #3 (DNF last time) to the end of the line #33, and only 30 minutes cycling on the way back, quite a few caches found on this trip and nearly all were puzzles too. After that was done it was drop the bike in the apartment and head along from Cobden to Point Elizabeth all the way to Rapahoe beach end, then all the way back to the car and finally off to Hokitika, along the back roads, before the rain came down too heavily. As it was the rain got heavier and heavier and caching was stopped for the evening at around 1800, stuck on just over 90 finds. A great days caching and apologies in advance for the cut n paste logs, will comment specifically where I remember any variation.
Easter weekend 2018 is here and I have a cunning plan. Well, a caching plan, but what's the difference? With mrs and daughter working over the weekend and me with a few days off work there was a chance to convert some of my solved puzzles over on the West Coast into smiley faces. And add to my West Coast caching total. And do the Point Elizabeth walk, and several other appealing strolls. And some other stuff and all the way along gaining extra points for the planetary Challenge thingy to gain some electronic 2D Geo-souvenirs. And so, setting off around 0730 on Easter Sunday with the trusty mountain bike aboard (for the Greymouth beach-side track) I clocked up just under 1000 kms by road, a few extra on 2 wheels and several more on 2 feet, quite the trip. The threatened rain only arrived on the second afternoon in Hokitika (by which time I'd done my walks for the day) and the drive back from Greymouth via Westport was in blazing Autumn sunshine - Beautiful. Fantastic scenery all around and a large number of caches from b&w and gracie7&mum helped the total to just over 180 finds.
An awesome few days which my family wouldn't have enjoyed, but conversely actually would have, for the most part. An FTF in Reefton on the way through on Day 1 was another bonus, and monkey off the back for the monthly streak. A few DNFs which is to be expected with that many looked for, but a lot of good sights and experiences too. Thanks to all the COs for their placements.

This afternoon I was going to visit an old work colleague who lives nearby and had a bit of spare time before he came home after work.
This way, or that way or maybe it is the other.
Cheers for the cache.

#14893. Cache was quickly found, then it was off to start the insect series. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 3 of a long weekend visit to Greymouth.
We took the scenic route from Greymouth back to Christchurch, via Stafford Loop Rd.
A surprisingly good road, mainly sealed and best of all, a trail of caches to find. Thanks Gracie7.

Day 3 Greymouth -Hokitika
After completing the card series, we made our way following a caching trail into town.
I wanted to do the Flintstones since I had done all the puzzles before leaving Australia.
We found Greymouth a great town to drivw around, a good selection of hides & containers found.
Thanks for placing this cache gracie7 + Mum

YEAH!! Critter trail here we come!! Chasing first to finds that had gone long ago. But Taybee dragon and I are here chasing them anyway. Thankfully the rainy morning has just cleared up.
The Seagnoid, Zara Toby and I are off for an expedition to the West Coast for a long weekend. Its early Monday morning and the Critter Series awaits us.
The local farmer passed by as we were hunting for this one. Snagged and tagged. Cheers

Driving from Nelson to Chch the very long way - I decided to head down this road to try & get some FTF. 3-Way Junction was on the way and it would have been rude not to stop.
Thanks for this and your many other caches, gracie7.

We did a maintenance run to Hoki today and stopped to check on this one. There was abit of moisture in the container but the log was fine. Everything is good after a wipeout and bag change. Happy Caching
Parked close and walked back, soon had the cache signed and returned, no cars about. Greetings from the UK. TFTC #7165
As we are staying in Awatuna Homestead on Staffordroad we needed to search for this one.
We didn't find it

Checked on the way home. All good and where its supposed to be. Better luck next time
New logbook added today.
Were not sure why this is getting wet so we may need to rethink the hide here.

No worries with the find but the log was absolutely sodden. Added a write in the rain replacement in new bag. TFTC #8740
We are traveling around New Zealand. We are so glad that we can discover this beautiful country. We enjoy it so much. This cache was found during our travel.
Thank you. Greetings from Czech Republic

In Greymouth for a wee easter family holiday. Heading back home to CHCH today with a wee detour to Hokitika gorge . After a fantastic gorge walk and a picnic lunch we decided to cut back through this way on our way home.....cheers.
We are down on the coast for the weekend and had a message to do in Hokitika so naturally some geocaching was included.
Heading 'homeward' again we detoured round the loop road for another few caches. It might be a rural road but it was a very busy one and we had to be aware of muggles while completing this one.
Thank you gracie7 + Mum.

Thank you gracie7 + Mum.
Abundant seasonal growth obscured the cache and hint item more than expected. It didn't take long though before we finished the formalities. Thank you Gracie7 + Mum
The long grass is getting a bit too long on this corner, but a quick find all the same. tftc.
Mum stopped on the way passed today and added a new container. All good to go again.
We took the bait layed on the previous cache ( which was placed to lure others to this spot) and came luring to this spot.. after all we know the feeling well.. with our own caches...
Didnt take us long to find the spot, looks like we need to lure more cachers here to keep the grass down.. cache in good shape..and the farmer in the tractor and the one over there the feild..(far enough away not to see what was going on) probably remain confused to this day just what was going on......

6757. Out for the day geocaching from our base in Kumara to Lake Kaniere. This was cache number six
of twenty one for the day. An easy cache not far off the main road. The tricky part was working out safe parking!. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.

Found as I neared my overnight rest stop after having cycled 54km of the West Coast Wilderness Trail. Nice quick find - I think I looked (unsuccessfully) for a Bitsprayer's cache near here many years ago. TFTC.
