Searched here for about half an hourstill did not find the cache! Not the greatest spot to look as there is lots of rubbish.
No luck on this one I'm afraid. There is a decent amount of rubbish in the area and the location service for my phone was a bit patchy.
Weve searched twice, spending quite a while each time, but just couldnt find it.
It's the worst thing, there are rubbish everywhere and I got stung by 2 bees when I was trying to find the geo do not recommend
On a caching mission this morning with Keylev. I had mentioned that I wanted to hit 100 caches this week. Managed to get up to 50 so today was going to be the big one!
Keylev got this pretty quickly as my GPS decided to take my on a different adventure. Cheers!

On a day mission caching with B4Dawn.
As B4Dawn headed further along the track as his phone was taking him that way I stopped at a likely spot where my phone was pointing and made a quick find...woopwoop!
Thanks for the cache.

Great hiding spot. Lots of stash so the kids could choose what they wanted to swap. Great clues. Nice little bush track too though took a second to find the start of the track.
Last cache on Mums (SethRaven) list for today . . . . . a quick find made by Mum here, signed, rehid and we are now off for a BBQ dinner. TFTC
Couldn't find the entrance to the walkway initially but once we did, nice easy find. Thank you.
Headed here from the previous cache and took a while to narrow down GZ, and understand the hint. After spotting a clump of my favourite host plant (not) I was cutting it fine and grabbing the cache before the rain came. All good and replaced as found. Thanks Geomatt123
A bit of later in the afternoon caching in the local-ish area, and another part of our back-yard that I haven't really checked out caching-wise since coming up here just over a year ago. Wow, how fast time flies. Just the 5 caches this afternoon but some more for the relentless mass that is the Auckland region. Thanks to the COs.

A lovely little snicket in the bush. Lots of noxious suburban weeds but no rubbish. One of our naughty little geohounds found a cat hunting in the bush. The hunter suddenly became the hunted. Nice quick easy find. Tftc
I thought this was going to be harder than it was. After the last finder cut themselves I thought about bringing gloves but forgot them. Got to GZ easily and spotted the only place the cache could be, and thought maybe just a little peek. There was the cache, and all my fingers were still attached.
Log signed, and as I was putting the cache back noticed what must have been the camo from the lid. Replaced it, although it probably needs gluing back. Then decided the cache wasn't hidden properly, and sliced my thumb on the grass.

My first visit to this area and enjoyed my time. This had me wandering about for a while, but GPS settled and a determined search was successful. Tftc
Was a bit put off when we saw ground zero but cache was easily located. Nice cammo we nearly missed it. As we are making a video about the famous race horse Phar Lap for our geocaching/travel YouTube channel and this cache is near a road named after him we dropped off our new Phar Lap trackable. Hope he goes far and meets many horses.
We do not usually like these type of hides, but we found this cache quickly and without any blood!
#573. Woohoo - a cache not found in over a year! And I feel like I earned this one. Protip: if you are walking around on somebody's driveway, you are in the wrong place !!!!!
Once in the right place it was a quick find. While I did not cut my hand, I did manage to cut my shoulder as I was in my running singlet. Oh well that's fine, it was worth it in the end.
Today I went for a run after work and tried to find 6 caches. Ended up finding four of them, which is not a great result, but at least this was one of the found ones. I was going to try to find more, but it is starting to get dark quite early these days.
Thank you very much for the cache!

I was in the right spot initially, but didn't see the cache. After looking elsewhere, I returned and then spotted something that didn't occur naturally. Took: Delfin TB. TFTC.
Was in the area this morning so came for a walk along this pathway. Nice and quiet at this early hour and a nice quick find. (Sorry Al-Dre) Dropped a TB. TFTC
#243. The hardest part of this was finding the path in...! A friendly cat came up to help me look for this one. Once GPS had settled, the cache was soon in hand and being sniffed by said feline. Log is dry and in good condition. TFTC.
Making use of some spare time before heading to work. Caching time yaay..!! I was about to go off the track that i saw Gorby's log, thanks mate. Then it was easily found. No blood was spilled finding this cache. tftc.
Ok, I have gotten over the stay-at-home blues by getting out, getting of my butt and doing some exercise. Nice walk down this path, but steep going back! Cache found quite easily, right on the co-ords! Didn't have to get off the path.
#490 Quick find and cache in good order. Beautiful little stroll on this secluded path.

The end of 2015 saw us take on a big couple of days of caching. At the beginning of the year, we set a goal of reaching 4000 cache finds by the end of the year. Towards the end of 2015, it wasn't looking too promising as geocaching got put a bit on the backburner for us as life and things happened. Come the 31st Dec 2015 and still needing a good portion of finds, New Year's Eve called for some binge caching in th North Shore to reach that milestone!
Another quick grab along this little walkway. Thanks for the hide.

#10525. We appreciated the shade on the walk to GZ, and made a quick find. TFTC.
We had a noon lunch appointment in Okura so decided to have a drive to Long Bay first as we had never been there before.
A nice shady walk from the first Springvale cache, much appreciated on a warm day. We both overshot GZ then decided to decode the hint as the GPSr reception was not great here. Immediately spotted a likely candidate and after a couple of prods with my walking pole (which I didn't actually need for this hide) , soon found the cache. Left a Rattll rock (Christmas edition) and a TB. TFTC.

Out and about this afternoon for a spot of cache detection on the shore. Nice day for it that is for sure. After finding the other cache on this trail I did try to drive closer to this one. Didn't think it made a difference in the end. Anyway at GZ it took a bit of poking about to get at the goods but I got there soon enough; hint helped. Well, that is enough for now--home time. Cheers for the hide!
Having found Springvale 1 it made sense to continue on the path to this. Again the GPS was in dancing mode but when it settled ,and with the aid of the clue , the nicely camo'ed cache was to hand. Beasties big and small jumped and so did I when a cockroach ran up my sleeve. Quickly removed , logged signed and a happy GC went off to do the school run!
A trip a long time in the making. 4 brave cachers to attempt 3 Auckland Powertrails in one day. Could it be done? Who knows. HKCB, Kiwi69, Jdm99 and myself arose early and left Hamilton to attempt a massive collection of caches. We logged as a group name HKJH or HHKJ or JKHH as our brains got wearier as the day progressed.
Divided and conquered both these caches along this nice little walkway before racing back to the car for more caches!

On an extreme caching mission from the mighty 'Tron with 11hpgh11, HKCB & JDM99, hoping to complete three Auckland power trails & find as many extra caches as we could along the way. We logged as any number of the possible combinations of H, H, K & J, as we kept forgetting which combo we'd agreed on. Parking & the find here were all straight-forward in the small hours of the morning; good fun searching in the dark & the rain with no muggles around to question our madness. TFTC.
Out and about with Kiwis69, 11HPG11, and JDM99 on the sole purpose of tackling all 3 power trails in one day, and any else in between. To maximise as much daylight as possible it meant a real early start, so was on our way to Auckland at 3.30am, and the first cache located just before 5.30am. After many puppies, a couple of piggies, a few smilies, some epic field puzzles, and a trip down route 66, 16 hours of caching, 250ish caches and numerous kilometres we achieved our goal about 9.30pm. A great day, with some great company. Thanks to everyone for all the placements, we signed the logs with some combination of HHJK, for some reason the order kept changing.
No trouble finding this one with the light from our head torches.

Tagged along with Kiwis69, 11hpg11, and HKCB in the hope of grabbing 3 Auckland power trails in one day. A big day out and lots of fun. Thanks heaps to everyone for all the cache placements, logged as a combination of JKHH in any order. TFTC
Found out and about caching today with alpenmilch80. This was one of many caches hidden in parkland in subdivision suburbia. Thanks!
Spending the noon with slieschke to clean out the area. A lot of little lakes, little hidden walkways and ducks. TFTC
No luck for me on this one. Pretty sure I was in the right spot. Couldn't find the other one on this path either.
Thank goodness, this was a quick find. Bush caches are often tricky.
Enjoyed the walk. Left a TB

A very early start and first cache of the day with Phasevisitor just after 7.30am this morning, before hitting the Okura trail. A nice quick find and a nice sized cache to start off with. TFTC!
Met up with mike-miss for some early morning caching, before catching up with others to do the Okura Bush/Weiti River trail. A quick find here, TFTC!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.

10290… An enjoyable walk in Springvale… glad to be in the shade, away from the hot sun, TFTC.
Luckily the darkness wasn't a problem, with flashlights in hand and a good clue we soon had cache in hand... GPS was not our friend on this one! TFTC
As the daylight departed, we needed he torches out, so this proved to be a little tricky in the dark and the lack GPS reception. But we managed to get through this small challenge. TFTC.
The description here became a bit more helpful than the GPS, we managed to point the maglites at the right direction eventually. And then came the nice big walk back up he hill to the car...
I understood the hint once I reached GZ and the cache was quickly retrieved. I lovely day for a stroll through this reserve. TFTC
