Nice to look on a low muggle day. Could scale the escarpments and bash the bush in relative peace. TFTC

On a previous visit I gave up searching which was good since it was in a location outside of my comfort zone. Today, I was with Marchwood who was comfortable getting to GZ and finding the cache. TFTC.
Our last for a successful morning collecting Caches. Thanks for the adventure to fine!
Fully agree with previous logger: bit hard to reach gz, but once there a quick find, tftc!
A tricky find up the side of a mountain bike skills track. A tricky one with little kids! Buried away under neath some of the fine horse makes it interesting…
Found after a bit of a hunt. Hidey hole well in bushes now.Quite difficult to retrieve. TFTC

Now its back to the bike park to finish off what I did not get to yesterday. Duh - Parked at the estuary edge and walked in to this one. Wow this one took quite a time to pin down. Luckily no muggles on this part of the bike tracks. Cheers.
Its Labour Weekend so Zara, Toby and I are off to explore Tasman for a few days. Its Sunday, Zara is resting up in Motueka, while Toby and I are heading back to Kaiteriteri to explore some more.

This could have been our first for today but ended up being our last as there were bikers in the area when we first arrived, but they were gone by the time we had completed out loop. A decision was made on where the cache would be and we soon came up trumps. tftc

My first time here I spent way too long looking in the wrong places. I came from the main road, through the woods and ended up down by the track looking up. This time I parked at the bottom and scrambled up with very few people around this afternoon. Found quicker than I expected considering how long I looked to not find last time! A good sneaky hide at a place I'll be back to with a bike one day.
Thanks very much!
Thanks very much!
Today we drived to Motueka an have a very nice walk. So we found some caches.
Thanks for showing this amazing place an hidding the cache.

We were visiting family in Mapua which included a trip to the Kaiteriteri MTB Park today, an ideal opportunity to get this cache. However, it was not to be. The GPS would not settle, the hint was not helpful and a wide search still did not result in success. It has not been found for 9 months. Is it even still there?
This was our first time looking at the MTB track, there were heaps of little riders practicing here, some of them were really little - on their balance bikes. Nobody was taking any notice of us so we soon found a way to the GZ. Having just completed Baldwin St.. Schmaldwin St.. I was a bit apprehensive of taking on another high T rated cache - but this turned out to be no comparison - phew!!! We found and signed without incident then went for a ride around the MTB track = what an amazing place tftc
Wanted to find this one to fill a hole in my DT grid, but it was not to be today. GPS was a bit jumpy and I'm not sure whether a top-down or a bottom-up approach is best.
Nobody in sight here this morning, very hot and a great spot from above the track....tftc
Once in a lifetime we wanted to travel to the other side of the world. This year we took a chance and made a 4 weeks trip to New Zealand! Although caching was not the main purpose, we had our GPS prepared and when we were close to a cache, we of course looked for it and logged it. So we found several dozens of "kiwi-caches" and want to thank all the owners!!
Today evening, after a part of the coastal track and a little cruise we decided to look for some caches close to the beach. We found some very cool and interesting places like this one. Thanks for placing this NON- 1.5/1.5 Cache and showing this location, we liked it very much!

Champion find took a bit of looking. Stick with the clue it is well camouflaged. Awesome
Took a bit of searching around, maybe our gps was a bit out. Found with tarmacprof. TFTC!
We could see where we had to go, and soon found a reasonable way up, however it took a lot of searching before we managed to find the cache. TFTC
Firstly I misinterpreted the title to little = easy. No. Then I overthought the terrain rating combined with KiwiLegend's log and was searching accordingly till sense kicked in and I thought this was way too public for a hide. After that a nice quick find. However the log was disintegrating so I went back to the car and returned with a replacement log. TFTC #7065

Judging by the number of bikes on the back of vehicles as I drove to Kaiteriteri today I'd say it was pretty busy here earlier. Quiet now though. Cache took ages to find, well camoed. Thanks for the cache bumandworker

Took quite a while to find - it didn't help that there were several hint items at my GZ, but the cache was actually several metres further down the slope. Definitely still there. Thanks.
there were lots of trees down and a slip in the hill. thought we had a good look around but we're still new to this so maybe not quiet on the right spot?
Gryke's and my first adventure in the MTB park. Thought I'd get my daily cache out of the way before we started puffing uphill.

Started out in the wrong place but quickly realised we were wrong. I reviewed the terrain ...... Oh there ! Yep. Climbed up no trouble (just the one fall!) and found the cache quickly but I can imagine it being a lot more difficult in wet weather. Enjoyed this one thanks for the cache.
Was quite a scramble up the hill to this one. Had a lovely day walking the tracks. Thanks.
Very surprised to find this one still here, heaps of rubbish and some tree felling.
Very quiet as I scrambled to GZ and then it was like Grand Central on a Friday night. All the little riders and their proud dads started appearing from all directions. Lucky they didn't know that I was up there lurking Easter Saturday morning must be Little Riders morning.
Searched for a while. Looked at the obvious place a couple of times and finally found the well covered cache on the third visit. If you are into CITO folks, bring a wool sack and gloves! It must be party central up here for the not so young riders after dark.

Bit of a scramble and really sad to see the mess around GZ. Found it but left feeling disgusted that people think it's ok to leave their rubbish everywhere.
Found at 1:06:00 p.m. on 23/01/2013.
There were a couple of kids but they didn't pasy any notice of me.

Tried to find this without a GPS today but reading the terrain and other logs I now think I didn't even get close to GZ. I did find a hole that looked promising with something slate gray and white in it, but when I put my hand in the gray part turned into a fluttering cheeping flying crazy bird type thing and the white turned into lots of eggs. Beat a hasty retreat and will come back better armed next time.
quick find at gz. bit of a pity about the mess around. nice day but no riders around. tftc
A quick scramble up the hill and nabbed the cache. Obvious party evidence at GZ. TFTC

Nice hide.
A bit of a clamber but the hint is spot on (in)...
A bit busy at this time of year, watch out for the freedom camper and man-mines but otherwise all good.
Thanks

A fun find. Took a while to get our hands actually on cache as it was VERY well concealed in its hidey place. No one around today as heavy intermittant rain. TFTC
Left this one until last as my Swiss mountain guide caching companion had already conquered it the day before. He stood back and watched the Kiwi way of getting to a T4.5 and I was doing well until I opened my leg up on a sharp twig. A very small sacrifice for such a quick find. Thanks.

Ran around a little bit before the gps gave us a sort of idea where to head. Was a great mission getting to cache location with the use of our very bright headlamps. Bit of rumaging around and soon found the cache. Yay such a relief to find specaily while out at night time. 4th cache towards my masters night caching challange. Thanks for the cache
Fought our way to GZ with many sticks penetrating the skin! divebombing fantails were a plenty, I love these birds and I love some of the CO's caches.
Grabbing a few caches in the area while passing through on our 'how ever long it takes' NZ tour.
Thanks for setting this up.

SoBad was a real gentleman and had scrambled up the bank the less direct but easier way while Mrs was still getting the phone GPS sorted. The only thing he was there without a pen. Four failed attempts to toss one up - then he found a pencil in the cache anyway - thanks someone!! Back the direct way with Mrs acting as a support person. Mrs enjoyed this one a lot - and so did SoBad. Thanks.
Am glad we didnt try this in the dark when we were here last !!! Wandered down from up at the tower entrance and found a likely scramble spot !!! hmmm wasnt to thrilled getting up there - then followed ridge line to cache Signed log then Stretch0 said think this must be where others have come up we'll go down this way - to say the least wasn't to keen on that way down either - but after all that I did earn my smiley face and had a nice walk after work thanks for the cache
When this came out we decided it was too dark to chase after so today we returned to pick up this last one of the series . We approached from a different angle to most we think and ambled along to the cache . After completing the find we took the more direct route to return to the track and on to the car TFTC and returning us to this neat cycle way
Bit of a scramble for this while the kids rode around the pump track.TFTC and getting us out here on this track system again.
Nice one! A short scramble near GZ got me onto the right level and then it was quickly onto the cache site. No one riding this morning so nothing to see here. Good fun cache though. Found this cache as part of my Leap Year Day caching trek... TFTC, Biggles.
Missed out on the FTF . Never been here before what a great job they have done in the area. This training area will teach some good bike skills to the young and old maybe i will try it some time .TFTC
