I signed the log on this many months ago and it was only when we were driving past I realised I had done but not logged. TFTC
After a couple of DNFs I tried my luck with this one despite the rain and it being dark. The form of "encryption" was unusual but the same rules applied as for the more typical one and so after gathering the required information I soon had a reasonable-lookin set of coordinates. After a short search (not the easiest in the dark even with torchlight) I came upon the cache and squeezed my log into one corner of the full log-scroll - it needs a replacement. TFTC a nice view from the eagle's "nest" even though it past sunset - thanks for bringing me here
Today on our tour to Gold Coast surfer paradise saabfahrer and me visited this cache. Tftc
Together with eremitgth I discovered this Cache today during our tour. Thank you for hiding it.
Lovely walk after dinner. Will have to come back to enjoy the view another day. Tftc
I worked out the coords, but with no geo checker link, didn't know if they were right. After arriving at the assumed GZ after looking at a satellite map and the coords leading to the middle of a road I arrived and tried to spot any distinctive sites. But there were many possible hiding locations. So a DNF from me
Day one of our week in Coolangatta and a nice spring day which was a welcome change t the drizzle in WA at present. Spent today walking from one end of Coolangatta beach to the other and up to the Capt Cook Memorial sampling some cuisine and coffee along the way. A great day enhanced by finding a few caches along the way
A nice stroll up the hill rewarded by some great views back along the main beach and also to Surfers. GZ was quickly determined and the find made.
Thanks for the cache fizz62 [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry .
This was find # 2 of 5 and 0 today giving us a total cache count of 3244.

I had been reminded over breakfast about the souvenir available today. Iwas in coolangatta again today, so It did not take much to get me doing this multi when i hard a spare half hour. Multi caches are my favourite type, especially nice simple one step multis like this one.
What an amazing view to be had today on a stunning sunday on the coast. There were plenty of tourists around but only one of them appeared to wonder why i was writing numbers on my arm. She soon lost interest though and returned to gazing at the vista and I scuttled off towards GZ before I aroused more suspicion, taking a few photos along the way.
I made quick work of things at ground zero, in fact the container was exactly what I was expecting, so I am sure that helped speed up the search.
Thanks for dragging me to the top of the hill to drink in this stellar veiwpoint fizz62, and of course for the fun had with this cache. Cheer cheer

Huffed and puffed our way up to GZ early this morning before breakfast and coffee......mistake! But rewarded with beautiful views and solitude. Coords collected with no problem and pleased to see the final wasn't too distant. Had to search for a few minutes, trying to be stealthy so the bin men didn't get interested. MrTF2006 made the find just when I thought we weren't going to be lucky. TFTC!
We enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach with a little side tracking to find some geocaches. The riddle was solved quickly and the cache was found even quicker. Thank you for bringing us to this great location and to enjoy the magnificent views. TFTC
I can see why this has so many favourite points - great views here and well constructed multicache.
Thanks for bringing me here!

Really a good job with the idea here and nice container. We all had a chuckle at the "duh' moment. Thanks for the cache.
Came here last year during cooly rocks couldn't find the cache but luck this year

Great spot!! Very clever cache! Did not bring a pen so attached a photo- hope this is ok!!
Thanks for bringing us to this spectacular location. Unfortunately we didn't bring a pen so were unable to sign the log. Happy to send CO a photo of the cache if needed. TFTC
I love this eagle but have never had the time to do the cache while passing through, today I was early for a meet up and arrived at the spot to three work crews in the parking lot. Wander to the spot to get the answers, a quick sit at the table to work out my coords, an easy find and I was out of there before any of them knew what I was up to. TFTC
Excellent views on a very nice day, if a bit humid. Not exactly at the cords...excellent satellite coverage so I think someone put it back a little bit wrong. Nice camo. TTFC.
During my week on holidays here, I decided to grab some caches. On my journey this morning I came across this one and quickly had the numbers I needed.
This is an amazing spot, so glad I came here. I found gz and surprisingly found it very quickly.
Thanks for placing this cache in such a fantastic spot.

Fantastic hide. Beautiful lookout, have always driven past but never found the way up.
The cache made me more determined.
The puzzle was clever. I didn't loose too much sanity over it.
It was solvable from home with a little bit of sense.
Now being here, I see where the title comes from.
Clever cache container. Iv seen these online but not in play before.
Tftc and brining me to such a beautiful spot.

I was up very bright and early and had more than enough time before anyone else would wake up so I headed off and decided to grab this one and a fantastic sunrise. It didn't take long to grab the needed information and lucky for me no one else was here. I searched in peace and searched and searched was about to give up when I looked from a different angle. There it was. Great hide and TFTC fizz62
Found during lunch on a conference day at Twin Towns. Where else would you go but up here? I took a few shots and enjoyed the multi, which took me very close to where I predicted. Super use of a particular container. I reckon I'll give a Favourite Point and TFTC!
Just learnt how.to input gps.point in smart phone. Worked perfectly to find it. Thanks enjoyed doing this one
Out with IolantheK today after collecting our daughter from the airport and decided to grab a cache or two [^]
After she had run the numbers we made a relatively easy find [^]

Today T-Tech and I had breakfast with our son and daughter at the beach and afterwards we took a walk up here to enjoy the view, which was quite spectacular [^] Of course we couldn't resist grabbing this cache as well! The puzzle had me thinking a little, but the numbers fell into place, and we walked over to GZ. We searched a few spots before I finally spotted the sneaky hide. TFTC, fizz62.
Found this one on a weekend down from Brisbane. It eluded us for a bit and we felt a bit silly when we finally laid hands on it.
Fun cache in a beautiful spot. Thanks

Well done to geokid 1. Found very quickly and very satisfying. Good that it had its own extraction tool. Forgot to bring ours.
On the coast for the weekend. After the Kirra park run this morning, we came here to cool down and admire the view. Had the co-ords after a short time. After watching the surfers a little longer we had the cache. I like these containers. TFTC.
Decided to see if we could find this one while spending the weekend at Tweed. We had been to this lookout before and was happy to return. It did not take too long to work our way to the co-ords for the GZ. Then it was a quick find and we added our name to the log and put the cache back in its hiding spot. TFTC
Been up here before we heard of caching so today we made the climb not for the

A great day of caching with Swellerfungus. Our original plan for the day had involved climbing a hill or two but with the weather looking unfavourable we tossed about a few ideas and initially agreed on a trip to the Gold Coast to grab some caches to fulfill various Jasmer, DT and old cache requirements as well as picking up some solved puzzle caches. The morning started at 5am in rainy conditions but by the time we hit the coast the weather had turned lovely and we both wished we'd brought our swimmers. As we picked up a few caches we realised they all seemed to be different DT combinations and our thoughts turned to chasing the 25 unique DT challenge. So totally unplanned and unscripted we started the countdown required, steadily progressing through the grid, slowed up every now and then by the odd DNF. After 14 and a half hours we had completed our 25 different DTs and picked up some great caches along the way.
My navigating ability today was straight out of the Mr Magoo handbook. My first effort had Swellerfungus dropping me off on the road below while he went to look for a car park. I quickly worked out where we should have been so it was back to where the Zoomin Shroom was parked to make another attempt. From there things went down hill rapidly. A procession of dead ends and one way streets had us doing laps of the area but getting no closer to GZ. Luckily there were no banks around otherwise the police would think we were casing the joint. Eventually we gave up in frustration and went and grabbed some lunch. With a new route agreed on over a burger and kebab, we finally found the promised land. At least things improved from here, with the necessary information found and Swellerfungus making a quick grab of the cache. A challenge of our own making on this one. TFTC.

A long weekend offers a great opportunity to get out and about for some caching. The weather however had other ideas...or so it seemed. With a rain cloud over proceedings Seffnjarah opted to head out to collect some outstanding solved puzzles (some unsolved by me until the night before!), some challenge caches, some 'oldest 100 in QLD' caches, some Jasmer filling caches, some higher D/T caches, and ultimately some interesting caches. Shortly after starting we realised that our choices had given us a great start for the 25 Different D/T ratings in a day challenge (GC5C5PB). In all a fun and challenging day around the 'Dark Side' of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
This was our most difficult cache to find today!. We went round and around and around when really we should have just walked up the stairs! Plenty of parking up top though, and was worth the visit. Great little multi thanks.

Visiting the area for a family holiday, and today Opa-Bob and I slipped out for a few caching hours, and as he mentioned, this was our first find for the day.
I had had a bit of a look at the cache page before hand and decided the numbers wern't that difficult to work out, so I brute forced the coords before we headed off....
We checked out the suspected location first, and in no time at all Opa-Bob put his hand on the cache - a rarely seen container, but I do like it when I find them
After signing our names, we went to visit the Eagle anyway - great view, and a cool little picnic area with great facilities here too!
Thanks for a simple little multi in a lovely location fizz62, it set us in good stead for the rest of the afternoon

Out and about with Mumma-Kel picking up a few caches in the Coolangatta/Tweed Heads area this afternoon.
This was our first and it was a pretty straightforward find of a container type that I think is pretty cool but don't see that often. I enjoyed the view and picnic facilities that this spot offers and there's a good chance we'll return before we return home to show off the place to the rest of our group.
Thanks very much for bringing me here fizz62 ... Close to the best cache I've done here thus far this week.

What a great location for a cache. Went with family to find geocache and saw kite surfers. Great way to get fit
Well this multi has been a work in progress. A while ago I ventured to this cache that is close to where I live and I worked out the co-ordinates. Unfortunately there was someone working on the fence but I had a general idea where GZ would be. Came back about a week ago with geoneices (TeamBiffo) and had a bit of a search but they were not keen on searching too much. Returned today with a friend who I was having lunch with in Coolangatta. We got talking about what was geocaching and I was showing her my phone app when she asked if we could go and find one. Went back up - showed how the co-ordinates were worked out, went to GZ and had it in hand in a minute or two. TFTC Fizz62.
Out geocaching for the last time with JawsPaws from UK! So glad to finally tick this one off my to do list! Come here often with visitors who are not cachers, so was happy to have a geobuddy for this one!! Love this eagle!! TFTCSL !!!
Visiting from UK. Staying with fellow geocacher Robgold on Gold Coast sightseeing and picking up a few caches. Doing Surfers Paradise area today. Crafty little cache. Fantasic view. Loved the padlocks on the fence. TFTC
Got the co ordinates but could not find cache. Spent an hour looking. kids got very restless. Dont like giving up.
The riddle was easy enough but the cache co-ords are in the middle of the road. Four of use had a hunt around in that approximate area and came up with nothing.
Will try again during next year's vacation.

The ridde dwon the coast was very pleasant to get to this one. There were a few muggles around the posted co-ords, but that was not a problem.
The view was good today, not too hazy. I worked out my answers and fihured out where GZ would be. My geocycle heloed provide some cover when I was getting the cache
Thanks for bringing me to this spot
PS the cache needs a new log.

We loved the artwork of the iron eagle and were amazed at its larger than giganticness in real life. Unfortunately due to poor weather we couldn't get a proper appreciation of what we could tell would be a fantastic view on a clear day. The log book is full but we managed to squeeze our name in anyway. TFTC.
Just what I like. A multi in a lovely location and not to far to travel. Also a sneaky hide. Here have another favourite. Part of the caches we got in our last day on holiday here. Thanx
Quick multi cache. Nice and easy while returning from Fingal Heads

Found on our last day before returning to Adelaide. Loved the eagle and the views from the initial location. TFTC
Another awesome spot on this spectacular bit of the east coast. So glad you put a cache up there, we would never have made the climb otherwise. The required info was easy to find but the cache was about 7 mtrs out. GZ had us in the middle of the road. SL TFTC
Dear Fizz62. Great multi, my first in fact. Worked out the new coordinates quickly then made my way to GZ. Unfortunately I couldn't find the cache with 30 mins searching (I have the flu in my defense and can hardly think straight..... Anyway I did find a piece of green garden 'stuff', if that was the cache you'll understand, however it was empty! Could you let me know? Thanks. TeamGLOH.

Great views and a neat little multi. Plenty of people out enjoying the sunshine. Saw some whales spouting out to sea.
Thanks fizz62. The cache is in good shape. Found at 3:46 pm.

First find of a cache that looks like that, gosh I can see how it would be frustrating to spot! Beautiful headland at a beautiful past of the coast! Tftc
We were down at the Cooli Festival for the day so seeing as this one was so close we wandered up.
Getting up the hill was a nice bit of exercise and the view from up top certainly made it worth it.
We had no trouble finding all the info required and soon had our co-ords for GZ.
A short stroll later we found the cache and added our names to the log.

Thank you for the view. Years ago used to holiday at Kirra, there was a camping area there then right on the beach, where the park is now. Actually it wasn't right on the beach, we had to wander through a bit of bush to get to the water. How things have changed. Many happy memories for me. Back to now, checked my co-ord, something looked out of place, couldn't check it thoroughly as too many muggles and they probably would have helped a "poor old lady" if she was scrambling down on her hands and knees. An excuse to come here again.
Probably the hardest part of this cache was getting to GZ.
My SAT NAV in the car kept trying to send me up a one way street.
Time to updates my maps on it. What a great place for a cache.
Spent some time admiring the views then did the sums.
Located, signed and replaced the cache just before some muggles arrived.

While in Coolangatta for a famiy re-union, I managed to convince my way into doing some caching
We were heading to Fingal for a stickybeak and we were only in the car for 5 minutes when I noticed this multi pop up in a scenic area.
We quickly diverted to the starting coords
Awesome spot with some great photo opportunities. We quickly got the information we needed and had the coords to GZ in a jiffy [^]
Another nice spot indeedy [;P]
We did our 'duties' returned the cache and was back on the road in no time. Thanks for bringing us here and for the fun, Cheers 'fizz62'
